That sucks to hear. When friends disappear it’s always tough, no matter how you know them. If I had to guess I would say you’re probably right that he simply lost interest in gaming. Still if everything is alright, then it’s unfortunate that he doesn’t check in every now and then.

I think you misunderstand me. I too prefer real life locations, but obviously Auschwitz is several steps too far.

Yeah, I wouldn't mind a fictional setting. Zombies was never a serious enough game mode to tackle something like that though. What annoyed me about the discussion was that the people literally asking to see undead Japanese civillians, and undead Jewish concentration camp workers were upvoted, while the people pointing out how tasteless that would be were downvoted.

I'm debating on whether I should get it or not. I was excited by the game for months, and enjoyed Battlefield 4, but I was let down by the BF1 Beta. I might just get it anyway because there are no games I am really looking forward to this Christmas.

I would've also liked something cosmetic for the characters, perhaps the Primis costumes. Sure, the RK5 and MR6 ammo can make setting up that much easier. But for completing every Easter egg, it's a terrible reward. I understand the reward can't be too OP, but if you had told me a year ago that the reward for completing all EE's would've been a starting room pistol I would've laughed. Zombies has been very hit or miss this year, and I definitely count this as a "miss".

Disappointing reward for going through all Easter Egg's really.

I agree about the longevity of maps and gameplay not being as enjoyable, but I can't put my finger on what it is. Perhaps the GobbleGums made things too easy?

Oh, I'm not British but it's very weird seeing it all happen. It looks like Scotland may end up definitely leaving the UK now once they get another referendum. And now there are talks of uniting Northern Ireland and the Republic of Ireland together. Like I said, very weird, and the future couldn't look any more uncertain.
