  1. Personally I think her is a projection of her conscious mind, and being a child she perceives it as if it were game. It's difficult to explain, but it's like she constructed her own sanctuary inside the Aether. It's like how in Kino, we see two different perspectives of Samantha's room.

  2. My original account was called Magna, I made this one as I now more commonly use the name STOTTINMAD. You can merge them if you life. I don't think I had many medals but I did have a half decent theory on Der Reise I did ages ago.

  3. I'm STOTTINMAD formally Magna, I decided to make a new account. Anyhow, I have a good grasp of the story and have recently rekindled playing the older maps after quite a break from Zombies.

  4. I love the atmosphere of this map, and my goodness is it challenging solo!. But I've managed round 12 with players, and now I have decent understanding of the map. Is it me or do zombies hit you a lot faster.

  5. This is interesting, because it seems to imply that Edward and Maxis appear to be secretly working together. That sounds ridiculous but what if all this was their master plan to turn the Earth into their testing ground... I'm not confident in this though.

  6. Are we still moving over to there because I checked it recently, and all I can see is spam. You look on the activity feed and they've had a field day. If we are moving other there at some point in the future, a Mod best clean that up. Just thought I'd let you all know.

And I've just looked at the forum itself, its in every topic. Depending on whether or not we are moving is there any point in it's existence. If not soon but later then all that spam needs to get removed as their is an awful lot.

  7. Don't forget, several zombies yell "SAM!" when coming at you. Could he maybe not have gained full control? Perhaps zombies have some loyalty

Well, they wouldn't be yelling "RICHTOFEN", that's for sure.

As for the sudden change; then yes; Tac is correct on this one. I think it could've only taken a matter of days (or even a week) from the time Richtofen gained control to the current events in Green Run.

I kind of agree but I'm not just talking about green run. I think the basis of his ability to take control there was rooted in the tower of babble. It's a springboard for him to connect to any undead resurrected across the planet. I might be wrong I just think Maxis was aimed at disrupting Edwards control of the horde. The bombing of earth was like a final solution.

  8. Actually the first point I agree with you. The second is incorrect, Edward is in control. Anyhow, I agree because the HAARP transmits electrical field, there are rumours that it possesses mind control capabilities. The link in my signature discusses that point. And to the person above. It's not your place to judge what's correct and in correct.

The concentrated beam is that what is emitted from the Babble tower. I believe its Maxis' way of disrupting contreol and Edwards way of reaching out to the dead severed from his control when the bombs fell. That's only speculation and comes from the idea that the beam is capable of penetrating living and dead flesh. So it could affect a living human mind too. It maybe why some survivors in the radios are destroying equipment.

I found it funny that both sides of the EE are effectively doing the same thing even though they are trying to achieve opposite ends.

I know. It's strange. I can only think that the reason why Maxis would want the power off is that the HAARP is essentially when powered by 115, a direct feed to the Aether and Edward. And essentially gives him more power.

  9. Let's go about this chronologically. At any point in the game, we can hear Marlton in the fallout shelter. At Round 5 (I think), we can hear the honking of a bus which we can presume is the one that take him to Hanford. At Round 25, the zombies eyes go from orange to blue, signifying the switching of souls on Moon. When you die, the nuke from Moon comes and hits Nuketown. From that, I had thought that perhaps Marlton had left when the bus was honking and arrived in Green Run shortly after.

I was under the impression that the eyes being black was the transferring of souls in the Moon Pyramid, which goes along with the quote by Richtofen:

"Oh, excuse me, just getting used to the Aether." - Edward Richtofen in Green Run via Moon

I see I just thought that with the bombs falling, destroying most of the horde, it would have greatly weakened Richtofens connection to the Zombies. I just thought this because of their trance like state. Wasn't that Maxis's intention to hinder Edward in what way possible. I do see where your coming from though Tac. And thanks for the reply.

  11. This theory is centred on the focus that whilst in the pyramid on moon, the controller, (now Richtofen) is a hivemind, similar to what is seen in the halo and dead space universe. At the time of Tranzit it can be considered that Edward has a minority of zombies under his control. I think this because at the beginning we zombies that are some what dormant. A state we have yet to see in any zombie map. Might have to confirm that last point for me.

Now what I believe to be the case is that Edward's rise to power is gradual, with Earth decimated all primary connections to the Aether are more or less severed. It's possible that those zombies are literally in limbo. Until the survivors attack. Then they wake up, or its possible Richtofen lacked the power to wake them, they were still connected to the pyramid but their deaths finally gave him the power connect fully with horde in the area of Tranzit and as we know the more that are killed. The more powerful the controller becomes, it explains Richtofens side of the Babble easter egg to some extent.

    Anyhow, discuss as you wish.
