I hate Zetsubou no Shima.
Please. Roast me for this.

Yeah, I love this map. It's definitely made it in my Top 3. In my opinion, it's the best thing that they've released since Black Ops 1.
Everything about the map is well done and thought out. Der Eisendrache felt overdone. The atmosphere especially, which I believe can make or break a map, was off. Although I agree it was a good map, it felt off for me. Zetsubou No Shima get a lot of things right. The map is hard. It can block off a perfectly good escape route. It can throw a Thrasher at you when you aren't necessarily prepared, which if you aren't good at the map can ruin your day. It makes you be careful with your points. It forces you to play safer.
The problem with Der Eisendrache, for me at least, was that it was WAY too easy. The bows were ridiculously overpowered. Turning on the power opened up so many doors in the map. All you needed was the points for the doors to power and you were done. Zetsubou No Shima makes that process harder. The map doesn't throw helping hands your way. It makes you work to get to higher rounds. Tiny mistakes can ruin your entire game. Your mistakes in Der Eisendrache could be rectified by firing the Lightning Bow at the ground.
What do you mean when you say, "But it just lacks subsistence."
What do you think I meant?
It just doesn't stack well compared to other maps so far. It isn't entirely bad for it with some areas, but others just feel a bit off for me.
It's odd, really, and I'm perhaps one of the only people I know on Xbox that doesn't like it in the way I do. It's probably just me on this one, but Zetsubou is lacking in some form of flow.
