  1. Don't agree with the boot function, I feel it would and could be abused. 3 Friends playing a game, you join them. As you are a better/worse player but not being unsporting, then they could boot you from the game. So a 4 player game turns into a 3 player game. How does that affect the leader boards? Lets say everyone's on round 40, highest round for everyone and a player gets booted, do they lose the highest round the have achieved? Does it go onto the 3 player leader board score or the 4 player leader board score or not at all? As for it being in the future zombies category, I thought about it but thought this would be better suited here. I don't think it's about future zombies per say but about match making, leader boards and general improvements to these elements and not the physical game play ;)
  2. *Edit* I should have mentioned that Jayghf1978'S thread on changes likes and dislikes thread got me thinking about this. Lobby leaderboard An introduction of this would in my opinion, let you or others actually check how good the other player actually is. Yes, the ranking system should show this but in reality it doesn't. Think about those that have got shotguns, how did they achieve them? gameplay? Of course - some and probably most are extremely bloody good at this game. However, I gaurantee a lot of these have been obtained by other methods (such as exploits) I know of one in Die Rise that can get you extremely high rounds and I know of one in Buried that can get you high rounds. This can lead to shotgun rank in a matter of days/weeks depending on your current rank ratings. The rank doesn't show how good someone is but a lobby leaderboard would IMO. Leaderboards , how can a player that has played zombies (any map) have a better death ratio than me but only played the game once or a few times? So they have played it once or more and their downs/deaths are better than mine? Rage quitters/dashboarders Punish them, make them pay for ruining a game. Everyone playing a game consisting of say 2 or more players on live, someone quits nothing happens. However, the likelyhood of a high leaderboard score has been removed because of this. Give them a sin bin, make them wait 10 minutes or so before they can play again. Something similar happened on multiplayer but can't recall if it was MW or BLOPS. Match finding WTF? It's a mess, I can search for a game, going through 50 matches and it finds none, then again and finds none. Going back to the main menu and trying again brings a bit of luck. How about showing the connection strength on the seach screen as well, showing who is hosting the game would be a good introduction (before the game starts). How about a wee flag as well, you can tell from the IP the country of origin - a wee flag showing this would be an advantage. Search preferences Why not introduce a search preference, that allows you to search for a game for those with MICS, those without MICS and for those that aren't to fussed. Also, I know people can host parties and such like but how about a search preference that allows you to search for games that your friends may also be playing? Rank The ability to have your rank reset. I let my wee boy play on my gamer tag & it's goosed as a result, trying to get to the skull with knives is taken a lot longer than I anticipated that it would. I'm not a bad player, not the best but not bad. I would/should be on knife with skull or possibly even shotguns. Multiplayer lets you reset, why not zombies? I like the changes that have been introduced over the 3 zombies games WaW BLOPS1,2. I know others don't but change is sometimes good, it brings new players to the game and keeps it a bit fresh. One last final introduction. High rounders Some of these high round folk are going for the high rounds in a legitimate fashion. How about introducing something different? All they get is hordes of zombies, every round getting more and more. So lets say at round 50 introducing a challenge for them, round 60 a different challenge and so on and so forth. Keeps it fresh and keeps them occupied and on their toes.
  3. Honestly, I'm sick to the back teeth of being the only person to worry about the shield parts, the only person to ensure as we move up, we collect the wind parts or to only dig when it snows - maximizing the possibility of having the ice parts early. I'm tired of the "I want this staff, no I want it", randoms not spending points on opening doors, box whoring. I try to educate the uneducated but it's a waste of time. I reckon a four player team, all with the same idea/objective. Could have all staffs built before the first pandzer comes (as well as have them all ready to be upgraded in Agartha, on round 8). Take out the pandzer and head down to Agartha on round 8 & on rounds 8/9 upgrade the staffs. From then on, it would be very quick to fill the chests, get the one inch punch, airstrikes and then complete the Easter egg in the fastest time ever (I think it's achievable within 50 minutes or so with the right team). I think the fastest time was 69 minutes and 10 seconds, having watched the video I learnt a lot but I also noticed time wasted (I think). Doesn't need to be cut scene ending but making sure as we proceed from Gen1 to Gen6, the lighting panels are moved to the correct position (arrow pointing the correct way, not the flat side).
  4. Most definately not, again playing with Randoms last night. Not one of them in 3 games opened a door. Again, I open all the doors (which took time because of them kill stealing and box whoring), round 5 and round 7 on two occasions I get to gen 3. Switch gen 3 on by myself and they all come flooding in with a big feck off train at the back of them and I get double slapped and go down. Revived, naw. Do the open up no mans land at the start of the next round, no. Do they try and get the sheild parts together no. The box moved from Gen2 to Gen1 and the are all box whoring again. I'm up in no mans lad with the Mauser as the Pandzer comes on all 3 occasions, as I have no spare cash to buy an MP40 or anything else. I raged quit 3 times last night, never trust your randoms in co-op. Some are extremely good and others are just f***ing useless. So my biggest shortcoming when I think about it more, playing with randoms.
  5. Probably impatience, I'm sick off spending all my points opening doors because no one else would. I played 2 games yesterday and because of box whores it took until round 9 to get to no mans land in my first game. They caused me to go down twice because I was trying to get them to open doors,. so they went back to gen 2 to rape the box again I opened the doors to gen 3 switched gen 3 on. They all arrive at gen 3 and start running the opposite f***ing way, arghhhh. So yeah, impatience I would say is my biggest short coming.
  6. I was sensible last night, I went out on the ran dan (piss up, drink, pub, whatever you want to call it) on Saturday for an afternoon session and felt a little hungover. Put Zombies on at 9:30 last night, easter egg completed by just after 11pm. Xbox switched off and off to bed for 8 hours sleep for a change :D
  7. The wife is on facebook or candy crush, so I can handle the addiction without to much of a backlash My problem is at work, I'm getting things done in the morning and then I'm falling asleep by lunch. I get home, spend a bit of time with the kids before they go to bed (7pm ish) then spend time with just me, my eldest and the wife and a bit of TV. We don't say much but we catch up on some recorded TV. She'll then head to bed about 10/11pm and me and the dog (Shi Tzu called Benji) slay some Zombies til the small hours. It's been a long time since I stayed up through the night playing a game. The last game I can recall staying up for a good few hours stint through the night, was Desert Strike on the SNES back in the 90's.
  8. I think it's a great game, it is the same thing over and over and the thrill of getting to a high round may have been lost. I still have the hunger for high rounds but I've only really found Zombies in the last year. Although I played them size WaW it wasn't really my thing at that time. I reckon a different dimension may need to be added that would keep players interested. I mean GTA still pulls in the numbers and multiplayer on COD still pulls in the numbers. Maybe a couple of different gameplay types are required? I also think "if" and I think it is highly likely. That Zombies is released by Treyarch on the ONE/PS4, then we will see a different dynamic to the game. Maybe when doing the easter eggs little cut scenes should be introduced or something?
  9. Well I think so anyway, I'm playing most nights and usually for 3/4 hours plus each night. I'm going to bed at 2/3am and getting up for work at 7:30am and surviving on 5 6 hours sleep. I don't know how, I'm knackered through the day but then by 9/10pm I'm refreshed and ready to go again. Anyone else surviving on a few hours sleep?
  10. Can I just point out that this order does not work for me at all, the only way it works for me is 613 357 462. So It may be that their is several different ways of inputting this or this particular step for the lightning staff is wrong?
  11. I got the golden shovel tonight on round 17, randoms didn't dig anything up at all by the looks of it and in the same round I got the golden helmet. First time I have had the helmet.
  12. Well I just played with 3 randoms, carried them the whole game. Went to 17 with no downs, then went to revive someone who blocked the path to the robots footprint at Jug. I tried to revive him and got smacked from the back and front. Caused me to go down, should have left him but I'm a first aider ;-) Was in the process of turning all the panels for the lighting staff after doing the ice staff, and they all went down on round 20. I was just feet away from one of them to revive and then one of them backed out and as you can guess, back to the main menu. Gutted.
  13. As the title ask's, what is your worst game on origins? I had a game last night that I would rather forget, I was doing OK and and had 2 downs (i think) by round 10 (although normally I would have zero or one down by round 10). I was filling the chests to get the one inch punch and the 2 other players (in a 3 player game) started running trains through the chests area. Which is fine and is a benefit but I seemed to have lost control and started going down more often that needed. Then trying to get to Jug and the shield seemed impossible. By round 23 I had gone down 23 times, we had built the staffs and we had them upgraded but every time I ran my train, I ran into the tail end of someone else's train and got smashed from the front and the back and would go down constantly. I would get double slapped upon revive before getting jug. Then I would get jug and get stuck, I even got spawned in at the start of a new round only to be fecking stood on immediately. Nothing went right and I had a shit game, never left and stuck with it as I always do but last night was my worst game ever. Whats yours?
  14. It would be interesting to an extent, but not a valid reasoning in all honesty. Tranzit isn't a hard map but it's not an easy map either, then you have die rise which is a fairly difficult map imo but not one I play often. Then you have MotD and buried, two maps that frankly are awesome maps but so fecking easy. People could quite happily have leveled up on these maps to a rank that technically isn't a true reflection of ability. Then you get a hard map, Origins and the true skill levels are tested as well as the decent players and the new players. It wouldn't be fair to just have same rank lobby's. I think I would be a higher level than what I 'am but I let my son play on my gamertag for a while and effected my downs, kills, revives etc but I think I'm a better player than skull with blue eyes. - I think I deserve the knife but I'm not complaining. It's a skill based game but it's also a team game. Rank matters but not as much as team play on this map.
  15. I played on Thursday night with 4 randoms, decent enough players, I went to round 20 with no downs at all (the other players had 1 or more downs). It was half 2 in the morning and I had a few beers so was feeling a little pissed by then and tired. First down turned into 10, i politely said to them - I'm sorry but 1 player has already left (around round 17) - I'm causing you more problems by getting revived and I'm a little pissed so I'm going to leave. Luckily I wasn't hosting but that's the only time I have backed out of a game, unless the others have backed out within the first 5 rounds. If they back out within the first 5, I'll back out, as it's a certainty (usually) the others will back out and scoreboards knackered anyway.
  16. Just had a wee shot just now on multiplayer and Zombies and I forgot how good that game is. I'll probably have a better shot at it over the weekend. I forgot about controlling the tanks lol
  17. Well, I finally done the Easter Egg last night with 3 randoms and to be honest, probably 3 random players that are pretty decent guys and players. Added them as friends last night and we'll probably go on and do some other Easter Eggs and high rounds, finished playing at 4:30am and bloody shattered now. Anyway, we decided at the beginning on who wanted what staff, I'm not that fussed in all honesty, usually I'll build and use the lighting or ice staff. So I decided I would try the wind staff, probably the easiest to get the parts for, upgrade and build. Although, I actually think it's pretty shit. It doesn't have enough ammo compared to other staffs. The tornado effect that it can do is pretty awesome and can get you out of a tight spot (of which I had many last night), I think it needs to have a bigger ammo clip to be of any significant use. So we got the Little Lost Girl Achievement, decided not to put Maxis into the light or step into the light to end the game, we went another 2 rounds (29) before we all became toast lol
  18. Good challenge. But why MP40? Perhaps we can use STG/AK74u only with Mauser since they are available without leaving the excavation site. Just an idea. Also for the limits you can just say "you cannot leave the site during the round." Can buy jugg/revive at the end of the round. I think those modifications are sounds and would make for a fairly good challenge. Any issues with that HW? As soon as you run up to the excavation site from gen2/3 isn't that the MP40 on the board? Whatever that gun is, is what I was thinking. If their is a better option then I'm all for that. However, the use of quick revive I think, should be once and once only. With JUG and shield being able to be used as often as required?
  19. Excavation site challenge Must get to the excavation site as early as possible (round 3 or 4 max). Perks, Jug and quick revive only Shield allowed Weapons MP40 Mauser and grenades only. Once quick revive and jug have been obtained (plus shield built) you cannot leave the 2 footprints at the excavation site - you go down you can purchase jug again and get sheild, quick revive once used cannot be obtained again. Highest round. How does that sound?
  20. Sorry I've not completed it yet, I thought it was round 15 you had completed but it would appear round 16, apologies.
  21. I find a lot of players are getting disconnected due to a time out. Not necessarily because they are backing out but some other issue at hand?
  22. Was in my game last night or the night before, I'll see if I can find it my theatre.
