Why is Jugger-Nog even a perk in the first place? It's not even considered a perk because that shit is ESSENTIAL. Perks should be extra fun stuff like Speed Cola, Stamina, etc. Gets old playing games and striving for Jug as soon as I possibly can. You should go down on the 5th hit by DEFAULT. Just my opinion on it.

That would be incredibly boring. Playing a new map and surviving long enough until you find Juggernog is one of the best parts in Zombies. Black Ops 3 doesn't really have that same feeling as you down in 3 hits by default, but back in World at War to Black Ops 2 you would go down on the second hit. With zombies having the ability to double swipe, it made the beginning of a game very difficult. Not only that, but we have the shield now, so you are virtually only able to take damage from zombies infront of you.

Considering as well that Rezurrection was (or might still be, I haven't checked) the highest selling DLC in CoD history, it's weird to think that Treyarch didn't take that as a hint that they'd sell more DLCs if more zombie maps were included, particularly if they catered to both generations/types of player by making one elaborate map and one simple one.

Myself and 'm sure hudreds of others in the zombies community would love to see a Rezurrection-like map pack. To be honest, I'm not entirely sure that we will see another all-zombies DLC. If they did something like it, obviously the maps and DLC from Black Ops 1 would be the maps that would return (Kino Der Toten, Five, Ascension, Call of the Dead, Shangri-La and Moon) as Black Ops 2 was the most recent installment. However it wold likely be a long process to redesign the maps to match the current aesthetic they have in Black Ops 3's zombies mode.

They also died in die-rise. What's your point?

The MOTD crew will not return, they won't put the money in to get new actors and put their faces and physiques into the maps again, likewise, their story ended with Arlington passing on and breaking the cycle. If anything we MAY be seeing arlington again, but Billy, Sal, and Finn are burning in hell.

The point is Richtofen brought them back to life so they could continue his mission. After that, he tossed them aside like the tools they were.

  4. Hey there! Welcome to the site. Good to see another avid player who is keen to learn more of the story. If you are curious, feel free to do some browsing. You will definitely find all manner of various relevant zombies information.

As for your database, we have our very own of all storyline information here if you are curious:  http://www.callofdutyzombies.com/topic/139175-transcripts-of-everything-zombies-radios-quotes-ciphers-etc/. There are plenty other threads here that you would definitely find interesting, so go ahead and peruse.

If you have any questions, feel free to fire away.

  5. Have each of your teammates get Lil' Arnie from the box. Use the Apothicon Servant to basically 'block' an entrance for the Meatballs so your team can watch other places. On top of that, activate the Civil Protector. But be careful, as if the flag breaks you will need to haul ass to get to the subway, pick up the flag, and run back. Also, the Shadow Man will spawn around the flag when you do this step. Shoot him, or the onslaught will increase.

Black Ops: went dark following the release of a map and completed an EE without assistance from informed persons, guides, or spoilers from unofficial sources of any kind

I see that being hard and it's a good concept. But how would you judge that?

  7. Hey there! Welcome to the CoDZ forums. Be sure to check out the CoDZ LFG if you're ever looking for people to play with. Any questions? Feel free to ask. Enjoy your stay here and I hope to see you in the threads.

  8. Dempsey also jokes about Richtofen doing some... erm... unsanitary things with the Monkey Bomb as well. Mainly why I miss the old crew. So full of crass and jokes about each other.

As for Call of the Dead, I love the map. It's large, there a great training spots, and the Easter Egg was awesome My only real gripe with the map is when George Romaro shouts, which slows you down and speeds the zombies up.

If you're looking  someone to play with, I'd love to (of course only have only if you have an Xbox 360).

  9. Welcome to CoDZ! If you're looking for strategies, our members have posted many useful tips and tricks to help you get to those high rounds. Be sure to check them out. If you have any questions, be sure to ask. Hope to see you in the forums.

  10. No, I do understand that and it makes alot of sense. It just confuses me why they would set it to something like that if they have. I mean, is there really a need for it? In Black Ops 1 you could pick up the Death Machine on early Rounds without power. Why not now?

Do you think this map is better then CotD? Im still not sure which one of these two Im gonna buy.

It all depends on your preferences and what kind of maps you like. Have you done some research on them? Both of them are really good maps. Both setting and gameplay-wise as well as their size. There are a number of really good spots to train zombies if you're going for high rounds and the Wonder Weapons on both maps are really cool. Both have very intricate Easter Eggs (however Call of the Dead's EE can be done on solo). If you're asking for my opinion, I honestly couldn't decide out of the two of them to be completely honest.

I like when maps have a mix of both. I think that Ascension was a really good example of how a map can be done well. There are story elements, there is an easter egg with an in game achievement that wasn't really too over powered (imagine being give a 90 second death machine now... literally do round 50 in like 30 seconds) but is also had some survival aspects, as well as a ton of different areas you could train or camp if you wanted to. If the easter egg had an actually achievement associated with it that would be even better.

Agreed. Obviously that is why Ascension is one of the most favourable maps in the community. I personally loved it. It felt so creepy, but at the same time it kept that vibe that the original 4 maps gave me. Vote 1 for more maps like Ascension.

  13. It wouldn't make sense for the drop to be acquired only after the power is turned on. You can get Perks from GobbleGum when the power is off, so I don't see why you would need to have the power on to pick up the Death Machine.

  14. I actually can't believe I forgot to mention the events of Moon. Perhaps I shouldn't respond to posts so late at night... Nevertheless, I didn't say that the Americans build the teleporter, only that they attempted to replicate what they had stolen from Group 935, failed and as a result from tampering with 115 in the facility, the outbreak occurred. I think this map is only there as a bonus. Not really serving a purpose like I said.

  15. Hmmm... that is curious. My guess is it is a glitch. Then again, we have been receiving a multitude of patches as of late. Who knows it could be coming. At least you'll be prepared!

  16. Did you see the notification pop up in game? If so, do you remember what you were doing? I've seen some people with this happening while using Death and Taxes but I'm not entirely sure if Treyarch are adding a weapon kit or if it is just a glitch. I don't see why they didn't add it in, aside from the fact that we have the Bloodhound and might be seeing unique starting weapons in future DLC maps. I do hope they add it in though. It could be pretty useful.

  17. I don't think the Americans fully succeeded in replicating the scientific achievements that 935 had achieved. For one the Winters Howl isn't completed and is most likely an attempt at recreating the Ray Gun. As for the teleporters, I believe that they managed to recreate their designs, just not to the extent or power of the German's versions. I mean, they used the teleporters to build Griffin Station. As such, I don't believe they were able to be teleported away. I think that as soon as they cleared the zombie threat out of the Pentagon (most likely brought about by the 115 present in the science labs of the Pentagon), they went along with their normal lives. Kennedy continued as President until he was assassinated, Nixon and McNamara continued on and  died and Castro went on to become the Prime Minister of Cuba. Don't quote me on this, as there isn't much to go on. I don't really believe that Five has outstanding importance to the storyline. I do like that they have little tie ins.
