  1. I may be wrong, but you're the guy who introduced me to Dr. Who. Right? No lol we just shared a couple ideas with each other lol I don't really understand Dr. Who. I coulda swore you mentioned "The Doctor" on my Maxis SUCCEEDED thread. Maybe I'm wrong? Yeeaah dude! *headbangs* people here actually watched me? ._. this is sorta humbling and cool.

  3. ooooh, thanks! I feel special now. Thanks DBZ. Nice to be back.
  4. Some of you may remember me from my old posts here on CoDz, or maybe from my "affiliation" with PLAYtheGAME (ex-affiliation btw), or from some other source. For those of you that don't, I'm 17. Born in 96. From a small town in the southern part of West Virginia in the US. (Bloody Mingo, google it sometime for an interesting read) I love a lot of different genres of music. Some of my favorite songs that can generalize it for you are When You Were Young - The Killers, Can't Be Saved - Senses Fail, My Curse - Killswitch Engage, White Blank Page - Mumford and Sons, just about anything Avenged Sevenfold. My hobbies are doing Youtube videos. My channel is MayonaiseManGaming, but I'm a part of a few other group channels too. I used to be a director on PtG. Quit the directorship and left the community awhile ago. I love playing Zombies, and I love figuring out the intricate secrets of the storyline. Some of my best threads can be found here: http://www.callofdutyzombies.com/forum/index.php/topic/155384-mictlantecuhtli-the-man-behind-it-all/ http://www.callofdutyzombies.com/forum/index.php/topic/153237-why-maxis-succeeded-when-he-blew-up-the-earth/ http://www.callofdutyzombies.com/forum/index.php/topic/153136-richtofens-grand-scheme-2/ I started on CoDz and knew I had to come back. Hope you guys can welcome me back?
  5. I expect something to co-inside with Black Ops 3, or whatever-the-hell Treyarch cause their next game. I could see maybe FEAR RUNS DEEP Revolution Uprising Neutralization Sacrifice
  6. Thanks, also another quick note: Most of the Music (ESPECIALLY the infirmary theme) in MotD sounds very Aztec-esque. And music was a HUGE focus of this map. Coincidence? Or a hint from Treyarch.
  7. So, this is my first post in Future Zombies. I've theorized maps before but this is the first time I've felt confident enough to post. One can infer at this point that Treyarch are following a pattern with their DLC's. Black Ops II's correspond in some way to Black Ops I's. Map Pack 1: Ascension-Die Rise: Both about rising and you ride something in both by standing on it (lunar landers and elevators) Map Pack 2: Call of the Dead-Mob of the Dead Map Pack 3: Shangri La So from there, we can assume our third map pack will be in some way associated with Shangri La. Now, if we head over to Jimmy Zielinski's twitter (https://twitter.com/ZielinskiJimmy) you can see his about is updated with the link: http://t.co/twjMCkhybt which leads to a wikipedia article about slabs in the Earth. So from there, one can assume the next map will be underground. What is underground and connected to Shangri La? ARGATHA. also, side note, it'd be cool as hell if they made a drop that worked like the turned monkey bomb (made a doppleganger of you that would attract zombies) those would be cool to use in an easter egg or something.
  8. I honestly believe he simply meant this as a metaphor, seeing both the orange and blue energies, and knowing blue is richtofen, perhaps the orange energy is Maxis' "dam" blocking off Richtofen's power. Also, it's pretty pathetic that you'd come here and make a thread about the same thing after insulting "the entire call of duty community" "Judson Adcock said: Yes exactly, he called him a beaver because he has a dam, he didn't call him a bird because he doesn't have a nest, he didn't call him a frog either, I don't know why I bother communicating with the Call of Duty community, these are the same people who call plot progression an easter egg, the same people who insist everything be left the same and tell the developers to sell them the same levels that were in the previous games, thank you for proving my point, why can't anyone accept that maybe Maxis' plan involves a hydro electric dam, everybody has to search for hidden meaning in this zombies mode but when they come flat out and say something in the game it's absolutely false or it's a metaphor according to you people, if you don't want something new don't but new things"
  9. Thanks to all you guys for encouragement, and thanks for the new information to add! I'll be sure to put it in!
  10. First of all, I want to thank MixMasterNut, his Nuketown loading screen analysis inspired this thread. "Who is Mictlantecuhtli?" Mictlantecuhtli (Nahuatl pronunciation: [mikt͡ɬaːnˈtekʷt͡ɬi], meaning "Lord of Mictlan"), in Aztec mythology, was a god of the dead and the king of Mictlan (Chicunauhmictlan), the lowest and northernmost section of the underworld. He was one of the principal gods of the Aztecs and was the most prominent of several gods and goddesses of death and the underworld. The worship of Mictlantecuhtli sometimes involved ritual cannibalism, with human flesh being consumed in and around the temple. "Where is Mictlantecuhtli in Zombies?" As you can see, and see better in MixMasterNut's thread, he is referenced in the Nuketown Zombies loading screen by a package of bubble gum. Once seeing him here, I was prompted to do more research. In Mob of the Dead, the dead are in the Underworld of Mictlan, which is what he rules over. "The dead had to pass many challenges, such as crossing a mountain range where the mountains crashed into each other, a field with wind that blew flesh-scraping knives, and a river of blood with fearsome jaguars." Recognize the flesh scraping knives? And then, the final piece of the puzzle, that put it all together for me. As we all know, The Flesh are a cult which consume zombie flesh, and perhaps receive some sort of benefit from it, as they seem to be safe from the infected. "The worship of Mictlantecuhtli sometimes involved ritual cannibalism, with human flesh being consumed in and around the temple." Him being over all souls as well, explains how the MDT ran on souls, and why souls are so prominent in the story. Mictlantcuhtli has been the voice in Richtofen's head the entire time! HE helped Richtofen to get in control, to cause an apocalypse, and create the Flesh cult, so worship of HIM could be held for all eternity. I don't know about you guys, but I reaaaaally like this. More info added by other users: bagel_ Day Itzcuintli (Dog, or the 6th day of the 365 day Aztec calender,) is governed by Mictlantecuhtli, God of Death, as its provider of tonalli (Shadow Soul) life energy. Itzcuintli is the guide for the dead, the spirit world's link with the living. Itzcuintli is a good day for funerals and wakes and remembering the dead. It is a good day for being trustworthy, a bad day for trusting others of questionable intent. Looks like this can reflect on listening to Maxis/Richtofen, and Sal, Finn, and Billy listening to Weasel. They ended up dead, so the 6th day happened to be good for that. Apparently in Spanish, Mict is actually the same as Lucifer. Even more interesting, Jan 1st 1939 is the 6th day, or dog day, of the Aztec 365 day calendar. I think it's safe to say we know where we are in the Aztec world.
  11. That is pretty much what I've assumed the story to be as well. Good theory.
  12. Maybe the shivs were made from sporks? Just sharpened
  13. The Golden Spork, what is probably THE best weapon in Mob of the Dead, maybe Zombies in general, is a little random. I mean yes it is an amazing weapon, but it really has little to no place in the map. Or so we thought. You see, while I was fooling around with the Easter Egg video I'm making, I listened into Stanley Ferguson's retelling of the events, and he mentions the other three stabbing Weasel on the roof. Of course, the first thing that came to my mind is, "How could you stab someone in prison?" You would use a shiv/some other self made weapon. Perhaps the characters stabbed Weasel with sporks they stole from the cafeteria? Just a thought to explain it's placement in the map.
  14. As a semi-experienced CoD mapper I can tell you this is a scripting issue. For certain events they code in, you have to go down/die (Afterlife for instance) and the game does not "restore" your loadout when you get up, but rather remember exactly what you have and give you an exact copy. The only problem is the game orders the perks differently, I believe by price.
