  1. I made it to 57 last night with 3 downs - 2 on 44 and another at the end. I could have gone further, much further, but I was tired and I played online, so I knew the servers would conk out on me if I left it on (also turned out to be an update, so glad I did kill myself) and so it counted to leaderboards. I ran the Smoke Lounge strategy, and it works great, especially when the spawns start getting quicker. My only problem was Margwa rounds, as I'd have to leave my room, and find a new area to take out the Margwa. I wasn't abel to take it out at longer ranges as my second weapon was a BF Haymaker...

  2. If this indeed works, the next step is to try activating it at the same time the power-up from finishing the Easter Egg is there.

It'll probably do nothing except make them both sit inside each other, but it's worth a shot.

  3. Richtofen didn't really show the N4 their future, though. He showed them their future if they didn't put the switch onto the stocks - they died with the switch, which is why you had to search their dead bodies for it. Simply by making the decision to continue the Easter Egg they changed their fate. With either ending, whether Buried is their final resting place is unknown.

  4. Hello CoDz,

With the announcement of Black Ops III, I've decided to make my return to the forums. I apologise for being away, but I've been through a rough year, and in that time, I began to drift from Zombies. However, I will be sticking around for the long haul now (even though I say I won't be getting this game if it is on last-generation consoles :P, we all know that it is zombies and that's good enough for me!) I thought making another introduction (again) it would help me to feel reconnected with this community.

So, in the last year, what's happened with me?

Well, my parents are no longer together, and my sister and I are living with our mother, but still regularly visit our father. Not much in the more real-life stuff that I'm willing to talk about, other than I've built a lot of self-confidence and am a lot more outgoing.

In games, I found love within Destiny, and you will see the entirety of my posts on this forum in the last 7 months have been in the Destiny Thread. I was enthralled and pumped out 1500 hours of gametime in under 6 months. I spent pretty much 1/3 of my time in those 6 months in Destiny - not just waking hours. I absolutely binged on it. I finally managed to quit playing at least 2 hours a day the week before last - when I moved straight back into my love of Borderlands and have been playing that since (Currently have a 72 of each class, but only levelled Krieg on Xbox One) In my time playing Destiny, I found was quite skilled in hard PvE activities, becoming a regular Raid leader and quite enjoyed the strategical side of coordinating players according to their strengths and weaknesses. I also developed a love for PvP, going from a "good" K/D ratio of 1.2 to a 4.6, even having some sweet flawless games.

I feel I have rambled for long enough. I hope you all have a good day.

Signing one last post with this silly little thing:

  5. I won't be purchasing this game, regardless of my adoration for zombies, if they put this on last-gen consoles. It's been 2 years already. I couldn't bear to see ANOTHER game brought down by the restrictions of 10 year-old hardware. What was the point of new consoles If they are just gonna keep running the same old games slightly faster? Next-gen consoles were marketed with the promise of advanced tech, and higher power for larger, grander games, not the same old running smoother.

But you realize that a vast majority of Xbox gamers are STILL on the 360, right? They will do a dual-release on both consoles if Activision wants their money (like they always do). Why? Because the 360 and PS3 are still major consoles despite not being the "next-gen" machines.

But if they continue to do this, will there ever be a reason to upgrade? Why not just stay on my old console, instead of picking up a new one?  If they keep with this idea of only caring about money, game development is going to hit a stall where games will NEVER advance, except on next gen only games and PC. That is when CoD would truly die. 2 years is more than enough time to upgrade and phase out the old hardware.

  7. Picked GTA V up on PS4 finally, after the relentless nagging of my friends got the better of me. Add me on there if you haven't already, however, I'll be spending a lot of time in the Handsome Collection, so I don't know how much I'll really play in the next few weeks.

Maybe we get all of the old maps as a bonuses on next gen?

Wishful thinking. More like a remake in a similar sense to BO1's Rezurrection pack. Possibly one per DLC.

Hmm, I would like that but remember we have a lot of old maps to go on with. Maybe they do special packs like: Classic with DLC 1, the story maps in BO, none connected maps like five, nuketown and dead ops and finally the BO 2 set of maps? Along with a new map for each of course.

I think it's more likely we'll only see the original 4 maps, or them all.

One extra map per DLC is a stretch as is, but to put in 4-6? Highly unlikely

@Lizizadolphin, it's interesting because in the World at War loading screen, there are letters next to the teleporters (A, B, C), then in the Der Riese one there are no letters, then in the new one there are letters again, but in different places. And yes, the signature also looks different to me.

Just noticed the letter too, it makes me wonder if this was a concept, but why would the signature be there?

What about the orange writing and then under it the white where it says Germany, am I the only one that sees the BO2 map loading screen thing. Thats why it could be different.

No, you are correct. There is text there for sure and it matches the format BO2 used. This was either meant to be in BO2, is a community image they grabbed or is our first hint toward the future of Zombies.

  10. Just died on 30 solo, and I must say, the first rounds are easier than in a typical Treyarch map, but the later rounds get incredibly hectic. The zombies are just SO fast, and there's nothing to easily group up around since they can all jump over most things. Even my Cauteriser Mk 18 wasn't doing much (yeah, I know it isn't fully upgraded but I was playing smart with my ammo, using it all before upgrading)

However, the MAHEM is so good. It was like 2 shots to kill a horde at 27 at Mk 5. I can't begin to imagine the, pardon the pun, mayhem this gun could cause at Mk 25!

Overall, fun map I can see myself playing again soon. I am going to try and beat my score...

In the fire room, there is a cart. I've tried a rocket launcher, crossbow, grenades, sniper, and the new shotgun but nothing will push it. I know 100% that it has to be moved somehow.

I'm sure someone has already tried this, but Slam? Can you slam it?

    Even that doesn't work.

You know what? If you look past the cart and up the slope, there's what looks like a dead area. Kinda like an open way and you can see the sky. Call me crazy, but I think someone from the outside needs to drop down something to make the cart move and stop the closing wall.

Can you go through the chutes while infected? Try something then?

I am sorry that I can't be of much help myself, I've not played it yet. Damn 6gb download...

  13. Or, more likely, Activision told them "Sledgehammer Games is going to make the next Call of Duty game, so you will make your game release in 2015 instead. Understood? Good." and they had to deal with it. Treyarch never made that decision.

Also, Mocking, I really do enjoy your posts (most of the time anyway), but I feel I speak for everyone when I say this. Trayarch is spelt T r e y a r c h, not T r a y a r c h. Please don't take this the wrong way, but I feel changing that would really affect the amount of replies your threads have.

I definitely agree with the next-gen stuff. Without having to make a playable and barely changed game on the PS3/360, they will save time with development which will be used to better the current product, and will also allow them to make more innovative leaps with map size and detail. I don't want them to increase the amount of zombies on the map, however, as I feel 24 is an adequate amount for everyone.

  14. They've been going on about how much "the fans are going to love this mode", and therefore, I have decided that the 'fans' they are talking about are actually the console's fans, as this terrible game mode will require little to no effort to run, and therefore our fans will love it.

Honestly, what kind of fans did they talk to regarding this? People with no creativity?

  15.

    12-24 hours would be ideal.

I was just thinking that. Even at 12 hours, it'd give most of us a chance to start downloading, and to have the file somewhat ready for launch.

I really pray they do bring this in though. Nemesis I forgot to download, I ended up having my first game at 1130pm, and I'd started to download it at 630!

You think that's bad, I started my Origins download at 7pm when it dropped and it only just finished at 6am when I got up to play it.

  16. I'm liking most of these ideas, but if I may suggest something:

    1. Brainiac is tiered. Not really the most important thing, but I think it'd be nice to have like 3 tiers - Brainiac I (20 brains), Brainiac II (50 brains) and Brainiac III (100 brains)

    2. Why not implement a Spur of the Moment thing in a similar way to the Status Updates (if at all possible)? Have them timestamped to the minute and on a special page where all you do is list something like "Game/Goals: Origins EE, Platform: PS3, GT: NaitraxYT" and people can check on that list which updates every time a new request is put out? I think that would work a lot better and be a proper Spur of the Moment thing.

Other than that, good job guys.

  17. I would imagine that this would be an easy target for those tech savvy folks to crack into content early and ruin it for the rest.

Only thing I can see wrong with this, but remember; they do it with their games, which are a hell of a lot more valuable than a $20 DLC.

Also, the DLC packages for Call of Duty are released on Xbox systems first, and it'd be a hell of a lot harder to crack than if they simply gave us the files on PC.

I can see the point in this and it is something I've deliberated over, however I do believe that having it simply 24-48 hours before launch doesn't leave people with much time to crack the files.
