What did the Navcards eventually do?

Also, screw Keeper and Apothicion language. If I wanted to play Dungeons and Dragons or learn Klingon, I would.
I'm fine with shooting zombies, filling chests and using a new weapon in a super obvious place.

During Black Ops II starting with Trans(h)it, you had to choose who you were going to obey, Richtofen (Blue) or Maxxis (Red).

    _____

In each of the 3 Main Maps you had to find a NavCard, build a NavCard table, & complete the Main Quest.

Once Buried was completed people noticed this "Mysterious Box" that had a big ass Button in the Center. There were 4 Rows of 3 Lights.

If you and your 3 Teammates had all 12 Lights the same Color, you could press the Button and you would receive an End-Game of sorts.

    _________

Richtofens' Reward was all the perks, including Mule Kick 2.0 which allowed yout to ccarry 4 Weapons. He also granted you a permanent Fire Sale.

Thats all he wanted was to have these pawns he could play with forever. He also possesses Samuel so he can have fun killing the Zombies himself. (I believe most of this is correct).

    ___________

Now onto Maxxis' (the real sinister Mother-F****r).

Maxxis wanted control of the Aether. Once you press that button for his side, you immediately know you F****d up. The screen turns an almost Blood red color amd shakes violently. Even his voice changes.

He also condems Richtofen to Buried along with Misty, Marlton, Russman, Stulinger. Every now and then you would see  a Blue Eye Zombie in the mix of Yellow Eyes. You can even hear Richtofen talking.

    _________

I'm not sure alot of people explored much of the map while it was in this state, but it definitely seemed like a good place for more.

The reason the map was called "Buried", it didn't matter whos' side you chose the Tranzit crew was not leaving that map.

  2. Im currently paused on Round 50, my first true High Round attempt. I was hitting the Box trying to get Monkeys, when it moved to the Test Launch Site.

The PaP was down here, so I decided to get the Brecci & HVK. I was in the process of upgrading them when my shield got destroyed.

I was standing right beside I of the IV fins/legs of the Rocket. I let the Zombie smack me to freeze him in place, upon doing so I heard a loud ass noise, almost as if the Widows Wine blast was destroying the Rocket.

My question is have any of you guys/gals ever noticed this before, either way is it possible there may be something else going on here.

  3. Yea I do, thank God!

I'm aware of some of the different aspects that tie in with one another, through multiple modes.

Don't forget though, the translated name for "Arbgwaoth" is "Power-Up"

    ____________

So I wonder if "Kor Maroth Arbgwaoth" could literally translate to, "1 Elemental Power-Up".

If so, more than likely we would have

    2,3,4 (______________) Power-Ups"

    _______

I also think the Raven is there above Mule-Kick because the Giant Robot (German War Machine) that fell was "Odin". Which would leave "Freya" & "Thor".

  4. @DaveLo07 I subbed your YouTube earlier.

    __________

So I don't know if it's just me or what, on the Wolf Hole image, the stained glass furthest to the right, has a striking resemblance to the 'Witch" from Buried.

    __________

So I got to thinking earlier about what Jason Blundell said about putting an Easter Egg throughout different "Arenas", got me thinking.

What if the "Apothicon Servant Upgrade Quest' can only be obtained in DoA II. Every time we "Teleport" in DoA, it takes us too a different "Arena".

Surely there is some reason he used this specific word. Not alot of people play DoA, so if you think about it, this would be the perfect place to have a "Hidden Quest".

  5. I find the "Apothicon Sword" a bit lackluster. However, the "Archon/Keeper Sword" is definitely worth taking the time to do.

Its really not that hard, nor time consuming, when charging the Arch-Ovum you basically have unlimited use of the "Apothicon Sword" to take out the Margwa.

  6. Honestly your best bet on completing this one, is Solo. I finally completed it, after like my 15th attempt (mind you I have to Upgrade all 4 Bows).

My suggestion, run with the Storm Bow, PaPd Drakon/ Bahamut with Dead Wire, Danger Closest GobbleGum, and the Plunger.

I honestly think the Plunger is the only reason I completed it this time, simply because I didnt have to take as much time disposing the Panzers, which normally leads to me making a stupid mistake.

  7. So after a lot of thought, I believe I've come up with a pretty damn good theory.

    ________

So in Der Eisendrache we have the achievement, "My Brothers Keeper". Where we actually defeat one of the "Corrupted Keepers" in order to obtain the soul of "Tank" 1.0.

I'm gonna go out on a limb here and say, "In DLC 2 on the Island, we will indeed defeat/kill another "Corrupted Keeper".

    _______

If this ends up being the case, in DLC 3 & 4 were going to be defeating/ Killing 2 more "Corrupted Keepers".

Which I believe will actually turn out to be, the way the NO4 were seeing themselves in this different "Dimension". (Possibly, if they are in fact the Ancients)

    _______

In Shadows of Evil we "Summoned 4 Keepers", to help defeat the Apothicons. Now with the NO4, were going back and defeating/killing these same 4 "Keepers".

    _______

In my opinion, the Summoning Key will act in a similar fashion to the "Nav Card Tables". Once the DLC season is finished, we will take the now "Fully Charged Summoning Key" back to Shadows.

This time however, theres going to be a different Quest. The Quest in which we realize we've been the "Apothicons Servants" this entire time. This is when we will be able to do the "Upgrade Quest".

The ending will obviously lead into Black Ops IV.

One other thing I want to add, since I feel this is the most relevant thread for it. Ive just completed D.E. Main Quest, so of course I was fascinated when it first happened.

I began looking at the Moon for the most part & I couldn't help but notice, is it just me or does there seem to be an "Apothicon Symbol" in the dead center formed from the debris?!?!

  8. I have a theory.

Either 1 of 2 things are going to happen here. The first being the more logical, during the "Keeper" Boss Battle, you can hear him say the Quote, "Zoroth Orotha".

@Conzul recently pointed out, in Shadows once the Summoning Key has been placed, one of the Symbols appears "Red".

I have never noticed this, however the Summoning Key could act a lot like the Nav Card Tables, at the end of the 4th DLC, we go back to Shadows with the Summoning Key fully powered, except this time we get a different result leading into the next Treyarch game.

    _________

On the other hand it could possibly be found within D.E.

@Tac originally posted this image, which there are 4 of in Der Eisendrache, only we've yet to find a use for them. If I'm not mistaking is that "Keeper Language" symbols in the outer big circle.

    @83457 and @Ragdo11706

It was a pleasure bouncing ideas with you. Hope we can do it again sometime, but for now I'm off.

I feel as if your giving up way to easy broski. Seriously, read the post I said about the "Plunger Side Quest" in Der Eisendrache.

There is a reason why they are releasing this map pack on previous Gen, aand none of the others.

Once you begin the "Plunger Quest" you begin changing Newspapers from the past. The final image is the exact same image from Shadows of Evil.

Furthermore, once the "Plunger" has been obtained, Lighting begins striking the "Electric Rod" repeatedly, as if to suggest there's something more we must do.

Of you start the clock once again, the "Lightning" stops, as soon as you stop the clock (regardless of what time) anywhere the "Lightning" continues.

There are also 4 circles in the Undercroft, that too me stick out like a sore thumb. However, they are never actually used for anything. They do look as if they could be used almost as if to "Plunge" something through.

Didnt he say that you cannot upgrade the WW in SoE? Meaning it will be in another map

He said, "The Apothicon Servant can't be upgraded... in Shadows of Evil"

This could very well mean we will actually be seeing the "Ancients Apothicon Servant" or someway in another map well be able to unlock the Cocoon in Shadows of Evil.

  11. Yea I agree, that would be pretty shitty. Hopefully this is not the case, if it is I'd be pretty bummed out, but life goes on.

He also could have meant, something else I've said. In the fact that we may actually end up seeing the "Ancients Apothicon Servant" whereas that'll be the one Richtofen and crew can Upgrade.

Only time will tell, but in the end I'm almost certain well be seeing the upgraded form one way or the other.

@Ragdo11706 That's kind of the direction I think it is going in. Just skimmed through the interview with Jason Blundell and MrRoflwaffles, and couldn't find the quote directly about the wonder weapon. However, there is a part where Jason is asked about easter eggs that connect between maps, and his response is that there will be strings of connection rather than pushing a button in one map to trigger something in another.

Check the stream he did yesterday with NoahJ456, that's the one your looking for (I believe).

Yeah, I agree. Something is going to tie all of this together. I wouldn't be surprised, when Richtofen enters Shadows through the Rift to steal the "Summoning Key", if that's when the Cocoon is dropped.

Yes, so far I had it about every game, I never pick it up though.

I want a double points or a carpenter or a nuke..... anything really. Maybe even a fire sale because the jingle is cool.

That is pretty cool, I didn't know that worked on Der Eisendrache as well as Shadows.

  14. 3 hours ago, Koslans said:

Lots of Rayguns from the normal tram. Pretty much every game round 8-10.

Do I need to roll the box till it moves to increase my chances on double points now?

That would kind of eliminate the purpose of picking up fuses in the first place?!

You receive the Ray Gun from the tram as well, if you have never moved the box?!?!

  15. Once we understand the "Apothicon/Keeper" Language Treyarch created based solely around the "Apothicon Servant", then we will be able to Upgrade it.

We are being given specific commands, and directions we must follow. However, not knowing or understanding the language properly, we cannot do this.

Why do you think Jason Blundell was wearing that specific shirt he wore yesterday. Not to laugh in our face, but to show us, this is the answer to what your looking for.

  16. The only thing that quote from Blundell proves to me, exactly what I've been saying for Months now.

There's some kind of "Giant Inter-Dimensional Egg".

Somehow, someway, were going to find the "Cocoon" in another map and make it available in Shadows of Evil.

I wouldn't doubt if doing the "Plunger Side Quest" in Der Eisendrache, changing the Newspapers from the past, would result in such a thing. Honestly it's not that far fetched.

I don't think the end to that has been found honestly, being that once you pick up the "Plunger", lighting continues striking the electric rod non-stop. When the clock is ticking the lightning stops, once you stop the clock no matter what time, after you've received the "Plunger".lighting continues to strike. Suggesting there's something further we must do.

Yeah I knew that, it's pretty cool.

Anyway I'll try and replicate that, I guess.

I don't think I've ever heard a "Zoroth Orrotha" in my life. So if I can discover what you guys are doing to get it, hopefully that becomes the breaking point.

I've only ever received that particular quote once that I remember specifically. However, I feel I may have heard it one other time as well. Regardless I haven't heard it more than twice, so that seems to be the quote that's most important.

  18. 21 hours ago, Conzul said:

Do I have to feed it first or Margwa-contact it first? I've done that once or twice but never heard anything but the screams of the ritual victim.

Normally when a Margwa spawns if you "Feed" the "Apothicon Servant" in the vicinity, the "Upgrade_Ready" Quote Triggers.

    ________

The time I got the "Zoroth Orottha" Audio Que, was during an Elemental/Parasite/Margwa Round. All "3" entities were present on the map, I built the "Apothicon Servant" & immediately activated a Ritual.

I did NOT feed the "Apothicon Servant" prior to this. As soon as the "Keepers" spawned with the other "Entities" I received the quote.

    __________

    Here's a Fun Fact.

Did you know if you wait to place the "Apothicon Rift Stone" until an Elemental/Parasite Round. They will actually attack and kill the "Keepers" instead of going after you. Once the Ritual is completed the Round will end and grant you a, "Max Ammo".

  19. @Exactice_808

Don't feel bad, I've been to the Boss Phase at least 10x and every time I've failed from something stupid.

Mind you every time I decide to do so, I have to spend at least 3hrs or longer upgrading every single Bow (playing without internet). This don't include all the time I've gotten to the "Ghost Keeper" Phase and died.

  20. 14 minutes ago, Conzul said:

See I've still never had that happen.

Have you ever waited to complete the rituals until once you've built the "Apothicon Servant". Once you've built it then began completing them.

Normally on the first one, almost immediately once activated the Quote will trigger. Treyarch had to have coded them to play during this action, unless it was a "Glitch" that has since been fixed.

Sometimes i wonder if the roundskipping (shooting shadowman) could be related to something in all of this or would it just be a 'skip the boring rounds' feature.

When i do the roundskip up to round 15 and then when the round starts,  the first parasite that spawns will most likely drop the xenomatter so in this case i get the xenomatter as the first ingredient

Yea I have often thought the same thing. Again we can do this a total of 3x, putting us at Rounds 5, 10, & 15.

Seems like a pretty pointless Easter Egg, if it is not used for anything.

  22. 5 hours ago, JHock115 said:

Has anyone on ps4 run into a bug that makes all your sounds constantly echo? It seems to trigger for me when I teleport or go down in the inner launch area (the area with the teleporter).

I've just recently encountered this, I'm not exactly sure what causes it, but I'd have to guess either the Ray Gun, or Widows Wine.

Anyhow, the easiest way to fix this, if you have the Ray Gun look down at your feet and shoot, the splash damage will cause it to fix itself. However, if your not holding a Ray Gun, then your going to need to use one of the different Grenades (regular or Widows Wine) & take damage from that.
