@DBZ that's what I was saying. You happen to be a member of the group that wants entirely new stuff. So am I for that matter. But remember that a large portion of the community LOVES bringing back old stuff because of nostalgia. It's not necessarily going to please everyone, but it is a legitimately great marketing strategy.

Zombies / extinction aside, this has been the best multiplayer DLC season to date. Apart from the numerous reskins, they did bring many new mechanics into the maps that they brought back. Like the engines on ignition, and the goddamn wheel of fortune in showtime. You might call it laziness, but consumers gobble up nostalgia. There is always a rift in the community: those who want entirely new stuff, and those who want classic stuff. And regardless, one or two titles down the line it is going to be treated like a god. Nostalgia is the plague of consumer psychology. Now stop complaining and have some fun playing your GAME. Because that's what it is. It is a GAME, on an ENTERTAINMENT SYSTEM. Getting all pissed about it and not actually playing sure sounds fun, but I think I'll pass.
