  1. I love classes designed to be perfect for playing to an objective. I personally had a capture the flag class and a ninja plant/defuse demolition class in mw2. Now finally it will matter, because plants, defuses, captures will count towards "score streaks"! Finally! Sometimes I am on a massively dominant team in domination but we lose because I am the only person actually capturing the bases! ELECTRIC JESUS FUCKING CHRIST! But now people have more motivation to actually play the game rather than giving up halfway through and just shooting the fuck out of everyone. I mean reeeeaallyy. Come on people! -V
  2. I've been taking this thread by storm lately and now that I'm on a roll I will not stop! I have 2 tactical grenade ideas for zombies. Here they are! CATACLYSM ROD: received from the box. you get 2. you pull out what looks like a long thick glow stick and press in a button on the base of it. It is cylindrical in shape. When you press the button it glows green and shakes for a moment. Then you snap it in half and from the crack ( located in the middle, facing up) a massive green beam shoots straight up. It hits the ceiling and you then see that it is made up of about 50 different lasers. They bounce in every direction, flickering and fading once they've bounced 5 times each. This will be a good room clearing tactical grenade. If you use it outside it will go up a certain height and then fall down like rain, scattering when it hits the ground. PANDORA'S BOX: you get it from the box and it looks like a plain metal box. You twist the top and then pull it off and toss it on the ground. a purple smoke issues out of it, until it seemingly disperses. The horde of zombies stand still, looking at their own bodies as if to see if it did anything. After about 2 seconds, each individual zombie explodes into a massive firework display! I'm talking freaking weasley's wildfire whizzbangs type fireworks! The fireworks last for 10 seconds. The device itself takes about ten seconds to deploy though. As an added bonus, the zombies aren't considered dead until the fireworks go out, so it buys you about 15 seconds of time. It is basically a nuke, but you only get one and it isn't replenished by mak ammo. You keep the box until you replace it, and it recharges the "purple haze" over the course of 5 rounds. Though it seems OP, you will be so paranoid about using it that it will even out. Even though you could use it once every five rounds, you are going to save it for a totally catastrophic emergency, discouraging its use. FUN FACT I thought both of these up in a dream. No joke! Even the names! What do you guys think? -V
  3. If you know the definition of thecword you should realize that the people who have crazy theories about this map are experiencing pareidolia. They look into the mundane and find some far fetched crazy idea with minimal support but stand by it relentlessly.
  4. Good point. I didn't really put any thought into how easily it could be integrated into blops2, I just thought more along the lines of originality and practicality for the ideas themselves. Also some of these are just jokes. Especially the electric Jesus thing. Some ideas for animations to be recycled are the zaps from hellhounds for mind control The first person model from when you stagger towards shepherd at the end of mw2 with the knife could be used for numb senses. Like I said, holy light could cause the big flash that happens when you turn on the power and restore the color on ascension. Omit the cross thing. So there are a few ideas. I admit that they are way far out there, but I think they could uncover some animations for each of these. But again they are mostly jokes and not serious ideas. -V
  5. How 'bout a few more? Mind control: the symbol is a 3d model of the eye of providence. Lightning randomly strikes ten zombies. Their eyes glow blue and they start attacking zombies. They target a specific zombie, attacking it until it dies. Any zombie being attacked will halt and fight back, effectively causing pandemonium among the horde. Earthquake: the icon is a house constantly rattling to pieces and then repairing itself. A low rumble starts, causing the zombies to halt. The rumbling becomes massive, until all of the zombies fall down, like when they are hit by a thunder gun at the edge of its range. Holy light: the symbol is a flickering cross. Once you grab it a cross descends and unleashed a blinding flash, like when you turn on the power in ascension. The zombies will grab their heads and scream, blinded for ten seconds. They still stagger towards you but will not always lock onto the nearest target. They are utterly confused. Their eyes glow golden, with beams of light pouring out of their eye sockets and mouths. Communist reform: the symbol is a hammer and sickle. Everyone's points are added and divided by the number of players and then re-distributed. This can be good or bad, so whether you pick it up or not is up to you. Hehe... Pack attack: the symbol is a handgun with a continuously flashing scarlet muzzle. It gives all players the pack-a-punched version of their currently held gun for 30 seconds. If it is already PAP'd, you just get a random amount of points. This amount can range from 1500 to 3000. The only rule is that it has to be divisible by ten for obvious reasons. Mercury dash: the symbol is the winged feet of mercury. It grants all players triple speed for 20 seconds. Pretty self explanatory. Springs: the symbol is a metal spring. It grants all players massive jumps. They can jump slightly less high than the gravity pad things on moon. Roid rage: the symbol is a mushroom, which is a nod towards super Mario bros. all players grow very large, and can kick zombies like if they were hit by the 31-79 JGB215. However, once you take a dozen hits from zombies you shrink again. You cannot shoot while big, but you never shrink until you take the dozen hits. Shoot 'em up!: you have infinite ammo in your currently held weapon for 30 seconds. You still reload but no ammo is removed from your reserve ammunition. Numb senses: you move more slowly but get more health for 30 seconds. The effect is more powerful if you have juggernog. Your look sensitivity is also lowered, so you move very slowly indeed, in an almost drunken haze. Your vision is blurred as though you passed through a crowd of crawler gas, except less extreme. It is a fair price to pay for juggernaut-like power. Like 'em? -V
  6. @ZOTD whoops! Btw can u post a link if you see this wheeledmanx1444? Or anybody for that matter? I want to see the actual tweet that wheeledmanx1444 mentions.
  7. My newest idea is going to be a pistol like the ray gun winters howl and zap gun. I call it THE WRATH OF HADES. It is red and black and has lava visibly flowing through it. It is covered in spiky protrusions. Apart from that, it is shaped a lot like a ray gun. When you pull the trigger, you unleash a massive blast of crimson flame. It is a one hit kill until round 20 and leaves a burn effect. This makes it so that any zombie who survives the blast takes 100 Damage per second. The gun has a five round magazine and 15 in reserve. It is reloaded through the barrel like a ray gun. The shots are loads individually like a shotgun, so the reload is longer. So what I've effectively created is a portable incendiary shotgun from hell. Upgraded it's name becomes the HELLFIRE, and it's one hit kill capabilities are extended infinitely. It now has a 10 round magazine and 20 reserve shots. It is now red on the top, blue on the bottom, and has a black handle. The red part still has visible lava flowing through it, and the blue has water flowing through it. It starts as the HELLFIRE, but by pressing an icon on the dpad you twist the grip + trigger around and slide it towards you, up and onto the top of the gun. You flip the entire gun upside-down and now the blue is on top. This transformation creates the WRATH OF POSEIODON. It fires a massive burst of water out, with the force of a thousand monsoons. It deals the same amount of damage as an unupgraded wrath of hades and has more ammo: 15 per mag, thirty reserve. Edit: just to specify, each blast from both upgraded forms can envelop an entire swarm of 48 zombies, while unupgraded it has the same range and dispersal of a normal shotgun. There is no residual effect from the water. What do you guys think? -V
  8. Might be a stretch, but seeing as how half of the zombie Maps are in German this may be a new map's title. It could imply that it takes place at night. It supports the city theme for the map because it would cause mass hysteria if zombies infested a freaking mega city. -V Edit: I ran it through a sophisticated translater and a more direct translation of kann nicht Schlaffen is "can not slack". He might just mean that they are working hard on something. The fact that it is in German is probably just him hinting at the fact that it may be zombie related. -V Edit #2: even though it does actually mean sleep my first edit still makes sense, if you replace slack for sleep. They can't stop and rest because of their work.
  9. Seeing how I didn't post any original ideas of my own, I feel the need to make up for it now. Hack and slash- the icon is a sword, and when you get it, it grants you a dual wielded sword which deals infinite damage for 30 seconds. You literally hack and slash them to pieces. This grants 130 points per kill! The infinite damage does not apply to zombies that intentionally have massive health. Slasher- its symbol is a disconnected necrotic leg. all currently spawned zombies lose their legs. Time freeze- its symbol is an hourglass. pretty self explanatory . Lasts 30 seconds. Gives you a chance to revive a teammate, get some easy headshots, run and buy a perk or hit the box, etc. Tilt- its symbol is a pinball and a flipper. The gravity of the level shifts for zombies, but not for you. All of the zombies will get rocked around and slammed from wall to ceiling to floor as if the map were rotating. Buys you some time. Mostly for shots and giggles TBH. Electric Jesus's vengeance- electric Jesus himself appears like a hellhound, with a big zap. He unleashes his fury, shooting zap gun rounds from his hands and occasionally shooting dg-2 beams from his eyes. ALL THE POWER AND THE GLORY IS MINE!! MUAHAHAHAAA!!!!
  10. There may be another thread like this but I still think I should put this out there. Post some ideas about what perk-a-colas would do once upgraded! Some ideas I came up with are... Juggernog: zombies that hit you stumble back away from you, taking 50% damage regardless of the round. This ensures that while rounding up 47 zombies that one scumbag doesn't get in your way and cost you the leader board. Speed cola: throw grenades and prime special grenades with lightning speed, switch weapons faster, and decrease the delay between melee attacks. Pretty self explanatory- increases hand speed further. Double tap: bumps up the fire mode of weapons. For example, you could have a full-auto g-11, a single fire stake out, or a triple burst hs-10. PhD Flopper- all weapons that could have hurt you before you bought phd flopper get a minor upgrade. Explosives and ray gun get more damage, etc. Stamin-up: you get unlimited sprint, and replenish your health faster while sprinting. Dead shot daiquiri: every headshot gives you an extra round in that gun. The effect stacks though, so if you get a headshot you get a free bullet. If the next kill is a headshot you get two for that kill, and so on and so on and so forth. The effect caps off at 5 rounds do as to not be overly beneficial. This only applies to weapons that actually use bullets. The bullets go into your reserve ammunition. Mule kick: while you have it, it acts as a lucky charm. It makes it impossible to get the 3 worst weapons from the box, decreases the chance of getting a teddy beat by half, and it slightly increases your chances of getting power-ups. Quick revive: I saved this for last as it is my favorite. It is in my opinion, "the QED of pro perks". Please note that when I say "comes out" I mean literally shoots out of your character's body. When you go down, any of these effects can occur: - an explosion occurs. It can be a grenade blast, a scavenger shot, an explosion like that of the astronaut zombie, phd flopper explosion, doll grenade explosion, or very rarely, a nuke power up goes Off. -a red burst shoots out, like the ones that come out of the dead space monkeys, except bigger. It instantly revives any player it touches, and makes them invisible to zombies for 5 seconds, ensuring their safe escape. -a haze of white fog comes out and slows all zombies down precisely like a winter's howl. - 3 dg-2 shots fire out of you in 3 different directions. - 3 flamethrowers shoot in 3 different directions and make a quick clockwise rotation. - 3 ray guns fire continuously in 3 directions and make a counterclockwise rotation. - 3 awful Lawton shots fire in 3 directions. - saw blades shoot out in six directions making all of the zombies around you lose their legs. - all of your teammates receive the same effects as they would when hit with the vr-11. - the teddy bear laughing/ Samantha sound effect goes off and you get nothing! And many more! Post your own ideas and criticize mine! -V
  11. You could have a whip or some crazy shit like that. you get 10 lashes that are charged with die glocke energy and it opens a rift like a gersch device except less powerful and it is used like a normal melee weapon after it runs out of charges. It does less damage than a Bowie knife when empty, but can lash at multiple zombies per blow. When full it does infinite damage to the zombies it directly contacts and the zombies directly next to the rift. The others are pulled in like a gersch except more slowly and they aren't killed, they are only bound to i, perhaps by strands of darkness... It could be like the vr-11 in that it allows you to calmly revive teammates or make a quick escape. It could be called Something like the WHIP OF LOST SOULS. Upgraded it gets 15 charged lashes which kill more zombies than before and binds the survivors for longer. When empty it now does as much damage as a Bowie knife except that it can affect several zombies per lash. It's upgraded name is the... Uh... Any ideas? *awkward* anyway, the upgraded version's strands of darkness are longer and therefore can bind more zombies, or the same amount but more spread out. Comments, or thoughts? -V Edit: every wunderwaffe has a basis in reality. Although zombies aren't real ( I hope (or maybe not)) the dg2 sends an electric current through ionized air. The QED uses quantum entanglement obviously. This idea uses gersch technology of the next generation. Gotdaboom's head popper might use like one thousand gigahertz used at 2000 decibels used in a directed stream. Anyway, what I'm saying is that you can't just say " I invented the super duper 115 machine! It makes you automatically win the game and it works by magic! In fact dumbledore himself built it! At least make it a reasonable, practical, and somewhat realistic idea. And by the way, I love your idea gotdaboom! -V
  12. The map is called turbine, it says it in the corner at some point. -V
  13. Check out my thread for a full-on discussion about panic knifing! -V
  14. In the mp trailer the map shown is called turbine. -V
  15. Alright, as far as I am aware, there is currently no thread on this topic, so I took it upon myself to present this discussion page to the community. Post all your ideas for power up drops for zombies! The ones we know already are: Carpenter Nuke Insta-kill Max-ammo Firesale Bonfire sale Double points Death machine Perk bottle Lightning bolt And the strange QED power ups which include red or negative versions of all of these and bonus points power-ups. The idea that seems most prevalent is triple points... Or something along the lines of a bonfire sale where it lowers all prices by half except for pack a punch, which is still 1000 points. While slightly off topic, I have an idea for a QED type wonderweapon where when you throw it it explodes like a grenade except that it also spawns a random power up. There is a certain probability that you will get each type. For example it could be like 25% chance of getting a carpenter 15% chance of getting a nuke 15% chance of getting an insta-kill 10% chance of getting a double points 10% chance of getting a death machine 10% chance of getting a bonus point power up 5% chance of getting a random gun power-up 5% chance of getting a fire sale 4% chance of getting a bonfire sale 1% chance of getting a lightning bolt. Anywaaaaayyyy........ Discuss! -V
  16. I've heard a lot of buzz about so-called panic knifing and how it is "the only thing that ever ends my streak!" this is laughable. Panic knifing is an excuse that people with bad reflexes have for why they get killed (IMO). The point of the knife is to pit two players in a battle of reflexes during an intense surprising encounter with an enemy player. If the knife took 2 hits to kill someone, or if you had to take the second or two to draw it, it would be useless! You might as well just shoot them! That much is undeniable. I've seen argents on this subject on far too many MP threads, so I took it upon myself to create a discussion thread for this topic. What I wrote salvation lies above it my personal opinion on the subject. Discuss. -V
  17. It would be cool if there was a gun that was a mix between gotdaboom idea and a wave gun where zombies get lifted up and their souls leak out of their eyes and mouths and float away. It would be an even better elemental representation of death , the opposite of the vr-11 which symbolizes life.
  18. @gotdaboom I love the idea of a heart stopper because a lot of wonder weapons are elemental. We have electricity and thunder, and with the vr-11 life. This is the spiritual counterpart to that I suppose. Only one small problem though. Although the same could go for shooting a zombie, if someone you know died of a massive heart attack you would be reminded of how painful it was with every shot... TIMES 48! But really I think it is excellent and completely original, which goes a lOng way on this forum if you ask me! -V
  19. Sorry, I didn't read every post, I just skimmed :(
  20. I heard CaC 2.0 is going to be based on a ten point system. Sooooo, let's analyze conventional classes. If it is one point for each individual selection, a normal class would be like this: Primary: one point Attachment: one point Secondary: one point Attachment***: one point Perk one: one point Perk two : one point Perk 3: one point Equipment (claymores, etc.) one point Lethal grenade: one point Tactical: one point So it adds up to ten, but the catch is that in 2.0 nothing is set in stone so you can customize it more than ever before. ***it is possible that launchers and other secondaries that have no attachments whatsoever will cost 2 points. It is also possible that they will actually integrate attachments into the weapons. -V
  21. by Electric Jesus » Tue Aug 07, 2012 8:02 pm i originally posted this on a different thread, but i want some more reliable feedback because i put a lot of thought into it. -V after WWII, the united states finally seized the much sought-after die glocke projects. after nearly a century of research and experiments, US military scientists created the perfect formula and perfected their new wonder weapon, following in the footsteps of group 935. thus, the U.S.M.C. BEAM CANNON was born. imagine a deep electronic whine, menacingly getting higher and higher, until a massive beam erupts from the barrel of your gun, annihilating every victim in your path- living, dead, or undead. this weapon is going to be long and tubelike in appearance, thicker than a wave gun but thinner than a stinger. it is held like an assault rifle, and has a single shot mag. it comes with 9 reserve "magazines" and has a medium reload time. while firing the beam cannon, you cannot rotate or look around nearly as fast as you normally can. it also pushes you back quite a bit. for example, it lowers your look sensitivity to 1 regardless of your current settings. this is to balance out the weapon, as it is pretty OP in its rawest form. not only that, but once you pull the trigger, it takes approx. 2 seconds before the beam is actually fired. this makes it a powerful and effective weapon, but not overpowered because it must be reloaded frequently, takes a moment to use even if it is already equipped, and restricts mobility. the beam itself is blue and continuous, and deals infinite damage. it has no splash damage, and kills any zombie it touches. the continuous beam lasts for about 3 seconds. so, in theory, your 48 zombies could be coming at you (bro) and you could point it at the far right of the horde. then, when you fire, sweep to the left and take them all down! it has infinite penetration through zombies but zero penetration through walls and obstacles. when the poor suckers are hit by it, they snap, crackle, and pop their way to hell as they thud to the ground with charred bodies and sparks flying off of them. upgraded it gets more ammo, (15 reserve) but retains its one round magazine. the time between you firing and the beam appearing is reduced to one second. the beam still lasts three seconds though. its name is simply the BEAM CANNON v.2 sorry for the long post. any ideas? comments?
  22. He stuns 2 guys and then shoots them, so the commentator says "can he get 'em both?" not can he get a Moab. Van said he hates any version of the nuke.
