  1. Huh. It looks like Samantha to me.

I have to agree, it's something about the face, to me it looks similar to the one in the Origins ending cutscene + the blue eyes. I don't know... there's just something there...

Have you all noticed the eye though? Looks like there is something reflecting off of it.

  2. Could someone please download and then send me the link to some of the files?

    EDIT: Thank you :D

    You're welcome :)

I've put all of the files into a Google Drive folder which anyone can view using the below link, you should be able to just download them all using that, if you want the individual links then I'll put them down below in a bit just in-case anyone needs them :D

  3. Ring ring! Hello there everyone!

Treyarch have just released downloadable ringtones for us to use

Go ahead and show your love for music in the key of Z and all-things undead.

    Link: http://community.callofduty.com/communi ... kLsUNK-rkA

Many of the songs featured are from the map Origins but there are a few surprises on there such as '115' and 'The One' along with many others!

Oh, did I mention that they were FREE! Available in MP3 & M4R (dependant on the phone type). Why are you still reading this? Go ahead and download them all! ;) Enjoy!

***I've only just gotten the internet back so if this has already been posted then I apologise although I did check quickly before posting***

  4. That would actually be amazing! This machine looks brilliant and am very much looking forward to using it in 'Origins', it would be great if they did add it to other maps, I would love to have more modes added to play making it last longer! We'll have to wait and see...

Me & my dad got the score of 115 :D What are the chances of it happening twice! ;)

Also if you check out the CoDz Twitter Page you can see that they have 115 followers (oh you!)

Also they have sent out a total of 1,15(7) tweets out, coincidence? I think not!

  8. I'm going to have to say the plane in MOTD, I know that it isn't lethal to anyone or do any damage to zombies but the idea amazes me, this is something you are literally building through-out the game, giving you something to aim for other than a high round or completing a challenge (at least that is how it feels to me).

Even once you've built it you will need to go back and find the fuel cans, it just breaks up the game more, you're on a quest every game!

I'll have to wait until 'Origins' to see whether the staffs match up but I have a good feeling this will follow a similar concept (spending the whole game building these, rather than a one off).

  9. Am I one of the only ones that think this ending is probably one of the best ones they could have given us for this map?

If you look at this ending on the surface then you may feel as if you have been lead astray for the past few years, it was all just a game! But if you start to look deeper you will see a lot that can come from this, just look at Fated's theory above as an example!

This could well have been a game 'Eddy' and 'Sam' were playing together, 'Origins' may not have even been real! This could actually be where zombies started, in a little room! Sam and Eddy (presuming it is Rich) want to be in control of a zombie apocalypse, it shows their power status', Sam is always in control.

Everything else other than the map origins can still happen, as Vonderhaar said this is only one possible view (of many) on how it all started, it doesn't mean it is true ;) Nikolia, Dempsey, Takeo and Mexican can still be captured, super soldiers... you get the idea.

If this is it then what happened to the O4 on moon? Aren't we going to stop all of the zombies? Sam hasn't gotten her body back, the N4 are 'Buried', are we going to save them? This and a thousand more questions still don't have their matching answers...

I have to completely disagree with the arguments that are saying this was all a cop out, Treyarch have done brilliantly on this, people always said about how it would be cool if there was one on going easter egg, well here it is! If this was the ending then I'm satisfied, I applaud Treyarch, it isn't like they haven't given us hints the whole way though ;)

Der Reise "I want to play a game", Kino teleportation 'Samantha's room with the toys of the O4', the bear in the box, Richtofen 'Buried' "I've won Maxis". If it all was just one big game then I say 'good game' Treyarch! I look forward to more mind games :D Many, many games have a sequel...

this makes one wonder if maxis created the zombies and everything else just for samantha and because richtofen wants his turn he sets out to remove samantha from power and put himself in power

I like this a lot! I don't know why but when watching the ending I got the impression that Sam was spoilt, possibly 'Daddy's little girl' wanting everything she wants and as he was a scientist, he gets it.

Sorry for the long writing, I just want to show that this ISN'T a cop out and there can still be more but if not then the ending was great none the less! It isn't over until it's over!!!

This map wasn't the end, in fact, it was actually just the beginning 8-)
  10. Am I the only one that is even more excited for this map after looking at this quote?

Taken from the "We're all in a cycle- theory" in my signature:

In the next map I believe we will also be given two choices, one of them will be to do what happened before and then end up continuing the cycle (leading to all of the previous maps, probably not literally (as in being able to play them) but theoretically).

The other option will be to do something drastic, something that is going to change everything as we know it, basically something that will rearrange the way in which the previous maps have worked,

Based on this theory in the next map we are not going to be going back in time, just restarting the cycle again, the only way to save the N4 is for the O4 to break the cycle.

This could also mean that the story doesn't technically end (although it will... sort of), by this I mean that the O4 may not go to Verruckt, Shi No Numa, Der Rise, Kino, Ascension, Shangri-La or even the Moon after this!

There is no need for the zombie slayers to go down that road again so in one sense the story does sort of end BUT as we could tell from 'Mob of the Dead' we do NOT need to remove 115, kill all zombies or anything like that to break the cycle! So zombies can well survive, meaning that this will all continue to the next map along with the possibility of the N4 starting a new story.

Even if it isn't the cycle this could still possibly fit in somewhere like if Richtofen went/sent back in time to stop what happens (which I really like).

So what if we do have those two easter eggs, one showing us how zombies came to be (so going through shi no numa, der riese, kino etc.) thus continuing the story, then one drastically changing what we know thus meaning the beginning becomes the end but can then also become a new beginning of a new story without the previous maps, just in time for a next generation console upgrade.

There are two ways in how zombies came to be, ones the way we've been going for the past 6 years  the other leading to another storyline with O4 & possibly the N4 meaning more zombies! :D

Treyarch are going to blow us out of the water in this map no matter what happens, who'd have thought that we would have gone to the Moon and have Richtofen take over then blow up the earth! Treyarch are great with annoying cliff hanger endings ;)

  11. Didn't a similar thing happen in the 'Great Leap Forward' introduction, where a demonic voice we had no idea about said to Stu:

    Accept your fate, begin anew

The same could apply here, although there were so many different theories about the 'Great Leap Forward' voice I have no idea which everyone settled on

The devil, someone else in the Aether, a different voice, Stu's zombie cravings... I don't know :|

We all ask for a trailer in hope of getting answers and all we've gotten is a load more questions  Oh Treyarch!

*EDIT: I also believe what 'boombyeyeah88' wrote about Richtofen looking confused, I'd like to think this was the moment in which the cycle restarted, meaning we need to break it, I mean if you look at them all after that moment they all look confused... although I'm not sure if it is that or because there is a 1000 foot machine about to crush them

  12. There are so many to choose from... so I'll have to give you a top three (baring in mind that I've never played Ascension, CoTD or Shangri-La.):

Everything about it screams 'manic, crazy games', small corridors and randomised perks along with a great verticality layout makes this map for me. Something different and unique with I really enjoy!

I only got to play this on 'Black Ops' but my oh my wasn't this an experience! This shows that Treyarch do not need to make HUGE maps to make a brilliant survival experience, the concept of splitting teams up and with the area being so small it made it feel like you had to work as a team which I personally think is missing from some of the later/bigger maps.

This map gave SO much and makes this map thoroughly enjoyable when playing online with randoms, bringing back a team work like aspect (with searching for these parts) while also giving individuals as part of a team a chance to go off and take a few chances.

Story seems to be the key focus within this map and it is told in so many different ways, quotations, musical changes, writings on walls etc.

The whole afterlife thing was a good idea and the whole quest idea where you have to go around and you can take lots of items and see what you need to do is amazing! I actually wished they'd had put the quest log in 'Buried' as I loved it.

Finally the quotations and musical score was just the best! The music really set the scene and the actors did a brilliant job with the characters (although all the N4 & O4 quotations are still great I felt these were just top notch, setting both tone and characters in one map).

If you had to tie me down then I suppose I would have to choose MoTD, it is just enjoyable and great fun to play although this does mean longer games, which I do not always want.

  13. Hello!

The recent 'Origins' trailer given to us by Treyarch have given everyone a lot to think about, one question that is arising in us all is "Why are we going back to the O4' origins?", some say that this map is going to be a prequel to something else after Moon, others say Richtofen is going back in time to make sure he gains FULL power of the zombies, well I would love to chuck another theory into the main scheme of things, some people have already mentioned this idea within other threads but here is a full round explanation of what I think will/has happened, so give it a read and let me know what you think!

We're all stuck in a cycle!

People may not have enjoyed the Black Ops II's zombie maps as much as previous ones and the story has been unclear to most at times but one thing that Black Ops II has highlighted was about there being a 'cycle'. It has done a VERY good job of looking at this in my eyes and I believe this is what the teams wanted to focus on to bring us to a great finale (for now...).

'Alcatraz Island' was the first map where we learned about a 'cycle' within zombies (by name, in 'Great Leap Forward' we got an idea of this), whenever they all died we would then go back to the start until they eventually found a way to break to 'break' this cycle. Quotes within the map suggest that they knew that they couldn't 'die' and they would have to keep going again and again such as:

"It can't end like this every time! What the hell did I do wrong? There has to be a way to break the cycle! How do I do this right? What the hell do you want from me?!"

'Resolution 1295' is the most recent map to have hit the epic saga and followed on from the two other maps that the N4 were a part of ('Green Run' and 'Great Leap Forward').

In all of these maps players have been given the choice, you can decide to choose Richtofen or Maxis. After all players on the map have completed all the Easter Eggs on all of the maps to a specific person (either Richtofens' or Maxis') then a button will appear. Pressing this button will 'reset' all Easter Egg progress within all of the maps.

I would like to think that actually, we didn't reset the EE progress, we actually restarted the cycle. if you wanted to get back to pressing the button again then you need to go back through all of the maps and do all of the Easter Eggs which then opens up a button which you then press to then go back and do it again etc. etc.

There's continuing cycle ;) I'd like to think that the amazing N4 are actually stuck in one big cycle, this time though for them there is no way out of it like those on 'Alcatraz Island', the N4 did nothing to cause this, the O4 cause Maxis to fire the rockets onto the Earth causing the zombie outbreak and there is nothing they can do to get out of it, like many other people have already said the N4 are literally 'Buried' here.

This then leads us to the O4 but not as we know them , they are all younger and are in a heck of a lot of trouble!

EDIT: I believe that we are starting the cycle with the O4 again, they may have died on Moon or somehow but however it has happened the cycle has started again, I don't think it matters how the cycle has started but they've restarted it again.

    Completely off topic but:

What if Maxis is the one to brainwash and erase the memory of them all so he can use them for his big plan, to take over everything? Not Richtofen... so Richtofen isn't the bad guy and wants to stop all of this... oooohhhhh questions and theories!

Let me know what you think about this and let's look forward to more information from Treyarch in the coming days/weeks :D

  14. Hello everyone!!! :D:D:D

A few minutes ago 'Treyarch Studios' sent out a vine video on their twitter page, here it is:

    Twitter Status: https://twitter.com/Treyarch/statuses/3 ... 9406828548

Direct Video Link (I couldn't seem to play the vine video on the website so here is the direct video link): https://mtc.cdn.vine.co/r/videos/F2E235 ... ONNPtfSWIB

    Vine Link: https://vine.co/v/hbF5W35QvBx

So, what do you all think? Is this a hint of what's to come... or what was before?

  15. Just a little thought. Are we all just disappointed about this map because it follows 'Mob of the Dead'?

There is no doubt that MOTD added a lot of new features, most people (not all) love these new additions and put this as one of their top maps.

Even though I do have to agree with most of the things said about this map such as the hats looking silly :P :

I do believe this map will give us a lot in ways of both story and gameplay (such as the maze given out in the achievements, I'm looking forward to this + the whole 'playing with your deepest fears' thing going on).

If 'Buried' followed 'Great Leap Forward' or 'Green Run' would you be saying the same thing now?

BTW I love the N4, great characters and I think they have been a great change from the other characters we've had, I'd like to think that these are original characters who each have a part in the grand scheme of things, they are a key part to the story and hope they stay. O4 were great, don't get me wrong, but I would most definitely miss the N4 if they went.

  16. I have to agree that at the moment I am not as hyped up as I was with MOTD, this seemed to offer so much more (new mechanics, afterlife, music changing etc.). This doesn't seem to offer as much, here is a description:

Players will be challenged to face their deepest fears, trapped inside a long-forgotten subterranean Old West mining town infested with swarms of the undead.

Now to me, the whole 'deepest fears' sounds great! Although it honestly depends on how this is done, is this just for effect (the setting of the map is small and crowded) or is there more behind this that meets the eye...

EDIT- Also remember that this map also offers the 'Ray Gun Mark II', avaliable in all zombies maps on Black Ops II, I think that is pretty cool+

Have to agree with you on the zombie hats... just doesn't seem to suit them TBH ;)

  17. In Alcatraz Prison I believe this was known as 'the hole'

It was one of the punishments they used on bad prisoners. Basically this was a psychological form of punishment, no light, no sounds and nobody around (apart from a guard or two).

If you look at the effects of isolation methods like this it can have extreme consequences on someone. They would hallucinate, believing things were there when really they aren't (just like when you're young and you believe there is someone at the bottom of the stairs at night, in the dark, when the house is locked...).

You'd probably also have no idea whether someone was coming back for you, that along with many other scenarios and images will certainly play on your mind after a while in there.

Pretty scary stuff! As for where to find it in MOTD I haven't seen it yet, has anyone tried theater mode?

  18. I have really fallen in love with the musical elements within 'Mob of the Dead', the way it builds up the atmosphere and changes whenever you do something or enter a new area. This is all I want in the final DLC, something small that (to me) really can make a big difference.

Personally I do not want to be hoisted back up to the Moon and have me float around in Zero G, give me some subtle new features, new quotes, new weapons and some unforgettable game-play elements like in 'Mob of the Dead' (with quest items) and an amazing ending to the book/solo EEs ;)

PS- Don't give me a massive co-op easter egg that seems to take over the whole map, I want game play and game experience to be pushed forward in this one.
