  1. We could also infer this from the fact that Groph hasn't met with Richtofen yet. How it SHOULD go is that "Protocol 935" spiel should have taken place THEN the events just before "The Giant" should have gone down. But it's reversed.
  2. FIRST thing I want to see created is this: A new boss, how you get him is original, as occasionally a red drop will spawn from zombies and look like this box of cereal: Once collected, this boss spawns into the map and just starts KICKING THE SHIT out of the player who got the drop. All while screaming GET UP ON OUTA HERE WITH MY EYE-HOLES!
  3. Sorry, I've just heard "Legal Issues" be the excuse for so long. Guess you're right. I still doubt we'll see them again though, after all, weasel left the other 3 in hell to escape.
  4. TBH it's stupid in general. There are PLENTY of videos on the internet explaining how copy-right works and such things, but the problem here is that the MOTD characters are modeled after the likeliness of the 4 stars. LEGALLY, to use them again would either require a massive recuperation of all 4 actors, activision, as well as treyarch to put this together, which sadly will never happen.
  5. People are kinda on the bar about that.. On ONE hand, what you said, it's alluding to a map that's not killing Nikolai. On the OTHER hand we DO teleport out of the map and get some blood vials. So THAT could be the "something else" we must do. PERSONALLY, I'm in the "Let's not kill Nikolai in the next map" wagon. Imagine doing the cross-map easter egg has two endings: One where they go ahead with the ritual, it fails, and the world is doomed, but by doing the easter egg in Map Pack 3, we get a different, much better ending.
  6. You really think they're going to re-create COTD, Ascension, Shangri-la, or Moon? I think the most likely candidates are Kino, and Nacht
  7. So... Has anyone here ever heard of a movie that came out 3 years ago with a 65Mill budget called FOODFIGHT? I just learned about it.... And... I have given up all faith in humanity. We are a naturally evil species with nothing to gain from living other then our own enjoyment of bringing despair to others...

  8. Is it wrong that I prefer maps like Der Eisendrache? Back in the BO1 days, the maps I played the most frequently were Moon, Shangri-la, and COTD. (didn't own Ascension) Loved em because I went in with the goal of doing the easter egg, or killing george. That's part of the reason I want another boss like George back that takes several rounds to kill. I dislike tediousness, but I feel DE is well balanced, and no one's really screaming in your ear to do something. Well there's groph, but he's not really there to beg you to do the easter egg. Honestly BO3 has been a VERY solid game so far and I really can't say that any of the maps are not in my top 10. (Well save ZNS, but I haven't really gotten a chance to play it yet so I reserve judgement)
  9. I REALLY hope we get some more maps for BO3. After all, if it's just SOE, TG, and the 4 DLC maps, that's only 6 maps. Which is less then we've ever seen sense WAW. They don't have to be big, just different. On the topic of the mod tools: WOO HOO! I love easier stuff! (Although I'm sure installing this will still be a nightmare...)
  10. Don't get all super happy and expect to see anything of value yet. Right now it's just one guy who's mapped out a river with rocks and trees. Looks REALLY nice, but no zombies elements have come into play yet. I'm just sitting here wondering: Wow? Is this the basics? It looks REALLY easy compared to how I used to see it. Did they improve this much from how WAW did it? Or is he just REALLY good at this and knows all kinds of little short-cuts... Thoughts? I can't think of what else to discuss about the video...
  11. OR. Someone will be riding THEM and we need to shoot them down.
  12. Thought just occurred to me... We get the black cell as a weapon, which can be used to take down dragons in a future map. It's only used IN THAT map as well and doesn't take up a weapon slot.Thoughts?
  13. You can earn attachments for the Mr6 and the Razorback. The difference to normal weapons is that you can't access their weapon kits. And no. Razorback is not in the DE box yet.
  14. Perhaps I've just been spoiled by Der Eisendrache, but I feel that Zetsubou No Shima was a REALLY lack-luster map. I mean it's defiantly a gameplay-orientated map. I'd play this map over and over, that's not in question, but after the Origins Robot, Groph, the Bows, the MPD, Blowing up the freaking moon, and the rest of that fun map... It just feels a little underwhelming to escape a boat, swim to an island, plant some plants, get some weapons, then kill takeo.... I felt that unlike SOE and Der Eisendrache, the story didn't progress until the end of the map came around. We had a lot of potential for the story to further it's self with Gersh, Yuri, the dragons, takeo as a tree, and whomever was in the bunker... But It didn't... It was just... Oh yeah tak's in the basement, go kill him... Maybe it's just me but I felt the easter egg of this map was more lacking then any other easter egg we've ever had. That being said, the map has brought a lot of new things to the table, and is still a good map, just... I feel the easter egg was VERY lacking.
  15. OR. There will be one DLC in the next map and a full zombies 4th DLC. I could see this happening with "The giant" being one of the maps that comes with the DLC. Also yup... Don't shame me for some reason it's in my computers "learned words" now. "Fallow" doesn't get recognized as "Incorrect" so after typing I don't see it.. Will change that...
  16. There's a cipher in ZNS which shows the war was slowly being lost to the German front due to their wonder-weapon advancements, however, these ally subjects managed to procure their own way of crafting wonder weapons, which I presume would later turn the tides of war... You know probably... However, if the Germans win in this universe I wouldn't think JFK, Nixon or anyone else would be where they were in Five. Although that's just under the presumption that the AMERICANS were losing the war. For a time British soldiers had doubts about the war whilst they were still pinned against Russia, Italy, and Germany. If that's the case, the big tide turners (Russia switching sides and America joining the fight) might not have happened yet, so it's still feasible that jfk would be where he is in "Five" if BRITISH soldiers wrote that cipher...
  17. They'd never bring the mobsters back, it's for legal reasons. However, I do see us traveling to HELL (same dimension as MOTD) to accomplish this task.
  18. What's questionable, is that like the Mr6, you can earn attachments for the razor-back. We also saw the razor-back in Der Eisendrache. I'd suspect that eventually we WILL be seeing this weapon added too old maps with a weapon kit....
  19. Eight technically if you count Richtofen's, but these are just vials of blood which multiple of which can be harvested from a single source. However I think that the nature of these vials deserves it's own map. It's reasoning like this that make me question: Are we truely killing Nikolai next? I have no doubt we're eventually going to Stalingrad, but can we be for sure it will be the NEXT map... ?
  20. More like a Mysterious Doctor M... As of right now... Monty's presence is as big a mystery as M's... But can we immediately conclude that M=Monty? I feel like the sudden appearance of both these mysterious figures is MUCH too much of a coincidence... Fourth rule of mysteries: Don't include a new character at the same time as a masked character, only to have the new character be the masked character. It's too predicable...
  21. Sorry about the title, It was too good of an opportunity to give up. Anyway, the following thread contains details involving the ZNS easter egg. -------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- At the end of the easter egg, after killing takeo 1.0 it appears that the characters DO actually teleport somewhere... Then mysteriously, they teleport back, with one VERY significant change: Did you catch it? It's the blood vials! Yup they've spread from Richtofen to all 4 of our protagonists. For those who don't know: Richtofen has been sporting a pair of blood vials containing blood labeled with two Mobster's numbers sense Origins. The blood vials are labeled "481 B" and "386 A" which happen to share the same labels as the prisoner numbers of : Sal Daluka: And Finn O Leary: Now, up til now, there's been no real significance to Richtofen's Blood (Or whoever's blood it is in Richtofen's Possession), and it could be written off as coincidence or a little meaningless easter egg, however, now it appears it's OVERLY significant: -The mob-of-the-dead plane is seen flying in numerous places: -Over the sky of Morg City (SOE) once the apothicon Overlord has been summoned. -Landed on the top of the building containing teleporter C in "The Giant". -In the skies of early-game Zetsubou no Shima. How this will be implemented in future maps I can't say for certain. Although I DOUBT we will return to Mob of the Dead, or see these 4 characters again, what with the legal issues towards characters modeled after Micheal Madsen and Chaz Palamentary, and aside from those 4, there's no need to reason I can think of to return to Mob of the Dead. ----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Now here's my next question: Who's blood is it? There's no doubt in my mind that the liquid in the vials is blood. But what purpose can it serve? Given the time it's introduced to the other 3, I'd say it's a back-up plan. However, does the type of blood matter? Why couldn't take blood from any of the NUMEROUS beings we've killed. I also can believe that Richtofen's blood vials are linked to Sal and Finn, however I have evidence that shows that the other 3 do not! (please enjoy the following Phoenix Write production of this) SO, with that logic out of the way, we can start to see some more rules added into the story here. -------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- So, with that in mind, I bring you my final question; WHY do they teleport back? Why come BACK to Zetsubou No Shima? We reveal before this that the Summoning key can't teleport outside of the universe, so wherever they teleport to is INSIDE this universe already... But where? And under what circumstances would Maxis return the 4 to Zetsubou no Shima, one of the most toxic places on earth at the moment... Where could they possibly go that teleporting back here is the best choice of option? My only thought, and mind you it's a very evidence-less thought... Is the moon's wreckage. That's the only place I think that would be in bigger disarray then ZNS... So! Your thoughts?
  22. This isn't really part of the easter egg, it's just a basic map component you will need. Look up guides for upgrading the Kt-4 that's step 2.
  23. There's another question... The dragons are originally encased in stone on DE... But then they break out revealing their heads are sticking out through portals...
  24. How did we get to a biblical level? This post isn't even a page long and we've gotten to discussing the origins of Satin instead of these clearly man-made/man-recreated dragons... What I'm wondering is where these dragons went... After all they are DRAGONS they can't be easy to hide, and they've appeared to escape...
