  1. So I think at this point it's fair to say that E3 was kind of a disappointment compared to last year, particularly conference-wise. As far as stuff not shown in conference, I was blown away. Zelda looks amazing, I'm more hyped for Kingdom Hearts 2.8 than ever, and I got some cool looks at persona 5. God of War and the new South Park game have also convinced me.

I guess I take it back a bit, it's not a disappointing year, it just didn't blow my mind like last year.

Black Ops 3 seems to have changed from a 'survival' game to a 'leave-one-zombie-alive-so-we-can-do-stuff" game.

NERF PLEASE. Playing with randoms isn't by far as fun as it used to be in my opinion.

Hate to break it to ya, but it's always been that way, since WaW. I don't sense a change for that happening anytime soon.

    And yet another E3 I won't be able to view live. ;_;

I will look forward to some KH III and maybe finally a sequel to the 2008 Prince of Persia. Although that will most likely always be a dream.

Maybe not for #2. Well, I guess it probably won't be a sequel to the 2008 game, but I know a tester who has a bit of inside info on Ubisoft who claims that'll be revealed during E3. Take that with a grain of salt, though.

  4. I'm bored and haven't done much here in several months, and with E3 coming up in roughly 3 weeks I figured I'd make a thread like this. So, without further adieu, what are you most hyped to see during E3? There's quite a few things to choose from now.

I guess we could also make this a discussion post when E3 finally does arrive. For the time being, what I'm most excited for is to get a Persona 5 release date and some more Kingdom Hearts 3 stuff. Really anything. Please, don't kill my dreams, Square. Not expecting too many surprises this year, but anything truly "new" would also be pretty cool to see.

There is one on a radio we hear talking to Groph during the EE. He is discussing about group 935 and their plans. There is a radio also that plays Richtofen's speech in regards to the Griffin station on this map and it being underway. There is a cipher stating that Richtofen fears Maxis obsession with the girl is making him go crazy and he need to report it to 935 (both these last 2 things were also on other maps but they are also on this one). The Richtofen in all of those is the one we killed too. We have a darker Groph in this map too seperate from the original. We have 2 Dempseys in the same timeline as well. That alone has to mean time travel has to have occured as the Origins crew didn't Time Travel inbetween Origin and The Giant.

....Okay? S0 why bother calling him radio Richtofen when he's the one we killed?

A darker Groph? We don't really know the original all that well, so that point is moot. Right. 2 Dempsey's. I did not dispute that. In fact, you're going off on a tangeant, of course they used time travel to get from Origins to the Giant. I'm merely stating this is the same timeline from WaW to BO2, up until Richtofen 1.0 is killed. Origins makes it a bit trickier, but my guess is that their timeline was changed completely, and is separate from the main one.

How do we know that is the case. Richtofen 1.0 was killed way way way back. This is apparently like the 4th or 5th Richtofen if you remember correctly. Your also stating to me that instead of us traveling through time which we KNOW we have done, on many occasions off screen inbetween maps, that we are in the same timeline and that someone else who is consistent in our maps time traveled and now has 3 selves on the same timeline? The version of themself we hear in the radio, the one we play as, and a child version?

I'm not saying it's the same timeline, it changed as soon as Richtofen 1.0 (The Giant Richtofen mind you) was killed.

This is their 4th or 5th attempt. Perhaps Richtofen realized he needed the summoning key to do whatever, and went back to that point in time again.

Version of him in the radio? There ARE 3 Richtofens that we know of that were in this timeline, but there is not one on a radio. It's Origins Richtofen, original Richtofen, and Eddie. Eddie is long gone by this point, most likely has been sent to the past to grow into Origins Richtofen, or other shenanigans as I said.

EDIT: I know what you mean by the radio richtofen now, I'm not sure of what that's about. A message from another attempt? I have no idea.

4th cipher down we all here understood that this was a seperate timeline which means things in this timeline are different including ages and such.

That isn't really the case, though. Up until Richtofen 1.0 was killed, the timeline was pretty much the exact same. I'm guessing there's some shenanigans at work. Perhaps a younger Richtofen was sent to the future, or the past as an experiment.

  8. So now that my exam is over, here's sort of my pros and cons for this map from what little progress I've made for it

+ It's a simple map, but doesn't really feel like it

+ Great atmosphere, reminds me of WaW. Particularly verruckt in certain areas

+ The bows are fun to use

+The true and triumphant return of scraps of paper! Oh, how I've missed these since WaW

    - The dragons. Don't get me wrong, they're cool, but they feel more tedious than any part of shadows of evil because you have to wait for the entire zombie to be chomped before killing another. I had the same problem with the hellhounds on MOTD.

    - It doesn't feel like it really brings anything new to the table

    - A supreme lack of WW2 weapons

Not much so far since I haven't been able to get a co-op game going yet, but those are my current thoughts. I can see the lack of new things making me burnt out on this map pretty easily, though.

Having had a quick blast of it today, it looks good, fairly impressed. Although all I have to say on the subject is this.

ACTIVISION, what where you thinking putting it on PS first? That controller is simply awful, absolutely dire. The thumb sticks are in completely the wrong position (not a natural position at all), the trigger buttons just feel weird and un-natural as well, you really need to stretch to get RB/LB and it's uncomfortable. Makes playing zombies pretty difficult imo.

On another note, PS, what were you thinking with the PS4 controller? It's awful, it absolutely stinks.

It's not that it's awful, you are simply not used to it. I feel the same way about the xbox controller.

I'm not entirely sure on that "rescue" part...

But yeah and well get Nikolain in another map set in Staliningrad.

Well yeah, I didn't really mean "rescue," but, you know, we'll be seeing him.

Stalingrad, eh? Do we have proof in that one one of the other ciphers from the Giant or SOE? I was looking through the other day, and didn't find any related to Nikolai, just the other two.

  11. This was definitely the right way to go about a zombies campaign. You have the round based game, and then you have the separate campaign about different characters. I like it. Can't wait till I'm actually able to play in a month and a half.

  12. I'd be a little disappointed, because I'm honestly tired of Der Riese and it's clones Kino and Ascension, but it's been forever since I've really played zombies anyways. Maybe it'll feel different, idk. We'll have to wait and see.

  13. No new rooms or anything :/

    They confirmed this months ago.

    Link

Dude go look for yourself I don't have time, how could you have missed that? Its common knowledge, get someone else to link it you.

They confirmed nothing as far as I know.

Also, video is private, or is that just me?
