    Hey gang, i'm interested in acquiring some video capturing equipment so i can record xbox360 and xbox one onto my computer hard drive. I'm a complete noob about this, so could you guys give me some suggestions of affordable but decent quality set ups? can i do this with just my laptop or do i need more processing power on the computer side? halp! lol

      You'll need to figure out if you just want to capture videos, or if you want to livestream as well. If you are just looking to capture videos - there are tons of affordable options out there. If you are looking to livestream, the options become a bit more expensive and technologically complicated.

      I recommend you start with simple videos, then if it seems worth it, upgrade to live-streamable works.
