  1. Basically, I stumbled upon the following link. http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Lost_Cosmonauts

It is an interesting conspiracy theory and brings up many thoughts about space travel, covered operations, and the cold war.

    This section caught my eye!

There are also rumors that Soviet automatic sample-return craft, Luna, and remote-controlled automatic moon rover, Lunokhods, were, due to failures in automation, manned by cosmonauts who had agreed to take part in suicide missions. However, there is not enough space in either the Luna or Lunokhod for even one cosmonaut, even excluding life support system space. There had been a plan to develop modified Lunokhods with additional controls for use as a transport in manned moon-landing missions but this plan ended with the moon-landing program.

Among the Lunas, a June 14, 1969, failed to launch, a July 13, 1969, test, Luna 15 launched but failed to land on the moon. Among the rovers, there was a failed launch on February 19, 1969, and two successful launches on November 10, 1970, and January 8, 1973.

    It's the lunar landers!

Please lend me your thoughts, provide fuel for my fire =)

  3. We "sent" them to paradise in COTD, and shangri-la, for those that look it up, is supposed to be a heavenly paradise.

    Obviously not in this case!

It will be interesting to play, a ton of running thru small spaces, new weapons, the whole shabang.

But the most interesting part will be seeing what hints will offer us the clues to the next part of the storyline.

Maybe paradise was ruined by 115?

    =D

  4. Changing classes from the web sounds pretty cool.

Going a bit far with the facebook integration though. That's downright awkward. Especially when I have fun liking things like Victoria's Secret just to troll or something....

  5. Instead of a UOTY, why not have individual awards (they can just be a banner for the winner's sig, not a group). Stuff like:

    - Most contributions to WWK

    - Most Mature Member

    - Kindest to the Newbies

    - Most Online

Stuff like that, little things ;)

    actually....that's a good idea, I like this.

Wouldn't that be hard to judge though? Besides wwk and a few others?

  6. KontrolFreeks attach to your analog sticks, either xbox or ps3, to extend the length of your sticks, increasing sensitivity and responsiveness to your controller.

They have both racing series, and FPS freeks. (racing just helps you turn and stuff)

I can say I have used them, very weird at first, but does help you game a bit. I can't say that I actively use them... but I guess they're nice in the end.

Congrats on getting that affiliation, hopefull we can help out CoDz even more now.

  7. I was thinking UOTY to keep it simple and easy to organize... More sections means more work for whoever is running it...

Trust me this site will be here in 5-10 years...

It will be a cult classic forum...

    Just an idea...

    Regards Snake.

I like the ring to that. A cult classic forum =)

I like the user of the season idea!!!

I want fall. Tis my favorite season....

  8. what would be quiet nice is:

*the UOTY is decided on what the person has done throughout the year by a panel of seceret trust worthy members (eg mods)

*Mods/staff are not allowed to enter, just like UOTM

    *the titel will be GOLD!!!!!!!!

*you keep it gold for the whole year, and stay in the group, BUT when the next year comes, you leave it, same as UOTM again.

    Agreed. Quite well said.
