Not sure why you and the guy above you are still going on about this it was already dropped.

They are simply trying to clarify the name and distinguishing  between the "Meatballs" and the robots that appear in the campaign and MP. You comment implies that these enemies are robots but stevie was explaining that they don't seem to be any evidence of a robotic nature.

I don't think it is unreasonable for them to contribute to a discussion about the name of the enemy as their comments were not enough to warrant a new thread and the topic had already been discussed here.

This is the exact reasoning behind me asking if the first time you ran the Totem, did the "Apothicon Symbols" appear. If the answer to that question is in fact no they do not, as @83457 seems to have pointed out. Then I can answer your question.

Interesting, I have not got a chance to complete the EE yet so I was unaware of this. Well I wish you luck on your hunt for the upgrade, I hope you can make some progress on it one way or another

As you can see, the Cocoon only spawns in 3 locations. This is why I asked earlier if the Symbols appeared on the first Totem you ran, doesn't matter regardless. This could explain why there are no Cocoon locations in the PaP area, the Subway area, or the Junction/Easy St. area. But why they're in the other 3 Districts, in which we summon the Keepers.

Unfortunately I am not too familiar with the search for the WW Upgrade that seems to have been going on, as I have just got back into zombies, so I can't offer a great amount of feedback on this, however one thing did jump out at me.

You mention how there are three cocoon spawn and this matched the 3 districts that we summon the Keepers, but are there not 4 keeper spawns? "Nero's Landing" also contains a sacrifice altar with a keeper that you must bring a flag too and also gives a Arch-Ovum, so the numbers don't seems to quite match up.

  4. Hey Guys, some of you may know me from the past, I’ve kind of been in and out of here over the years but now I’m back for BO3 \o/. I don’t think I ever did a proper introduction but I felt after such a long break it may be appropriate, so Hey.

I’ve spent a lot of time here and in zombies so I am happy to be back to it, although I’m on PC this time so I will be late to the DLCs (But mod tools will make up for that in the end :P). I’m also little late to the party for BO3 but I picked it up in the Christmas sale and am ready to jump into zombies again after nearly 2 years. As usual I have spent a lot of time reading stuff on the forum and not posting anything, It's great to see people I can recognise and I am looking forward to meeting all the new people who have joined us too. I am planning to get some stuff up within a few days (If I'm not too busy starting back to school) looking mainly at SOE as I don’t have access to The Giant yet and hopefully I can be active in the conversation about what looks to be a very interesting story that is beginning to unfold.

  5. Just finished ME1 finally and I have to say some of the twists at the end were fantastic, the story of the game was the highlight for me without a doubt. I didn't really like the gameplay at the start but I started to enjoy it near the end.

I really enjoyed the combat at the end when I was fighting on the citadel against the Geth

Creating my own character really helped me feel attached and responsible for the choices I was making and that added a lot for me.

The amount of dept and detail in the story was amazing, I loved learning about the wars from the past, humanities journey to space, the history of the council and the cultures and way of life for each alien race.

The scene when they relieved that Sarens ship was a reaper was one of the greats moments of the game for me, I had been really interested in the "indoctrination" effect the ship had leading up to that point and it was a great revelation. In the end I really didn't see saren as a bad guys, just someone being controlled by the reapers and I really saw the developers encouraging that train of though when I talked him down in the final fight, one of my favorite moments in terms of the dialog.

The revelation about the keepers and the purpose of the citadel also felt great as I had spent some time scanning them hoping it would reveal some information at the end, sadly the mission didn't but I was fascinated by their role in the reapers plans.

There were so many great moments that I could go on forever but I am going to start ME2 tonight and I hope it is as good

  6. I would agree with the idea that there was no "Best player" in regrades to skill, you played as a team and everyone fulfilled their roles. The guy with the most kills would have got them because his role required it, Who's to say you would have done better or worse in his situation. The same applies to the role of leader, only one person had the chance to be leader so I couldn't say if he was the best at it.

But within in the team it sounds like D would be the best player in my eyes, if he was willing to give up his own points/downs ect. to help keep the team going he played a very important role that some find hard to accept. He may not be the best in term of skill but if he was able to remain happy with a few early downs and a selfless role he would be the best team player.

  7. I'm currently making my first playthrough of ME and after doing every side mission available I've started the main story mission, I done Liara's Dig Site first and am now making my way through Noveria and will then be doing Ferros. I have no idea what is the "Best way" though as this is my first time

  8. unfortunately the search for the EE in kino was exhausted and no results were found, it has been concluded that there is no EE.

The increase in drops you are experiencing is almost guaranteed to be due to luck or you observing what you wish to be true, from my knowledge there is no action that can be preformed to increase drops in a round (Or weapons from a box for that matter :P)

  9. I haven't played thousand year door but one of my favourite wii games is Super paper Mario, I loved the gameplay and puzzles in it, I also really enjoyed Mario sunshine. I have played Galaxy and some of the DS platformers and they are fun but don't compare to Sunshine or Paper Mario for me.

I'm guessing thousand year door would be pretty different to Super paper Mario if it has a more RPG style of gameplay.

  10. Another great challenge, a bit like the spawn room challenge but a bit more creative. The choice of wall weapon and buildable sound interesting, but how many buildables work without the turbine?

I'll try it out as it should give me something to do rather than just playing origins all the time

  11. I am pretty sure there will be no more DLC releases for BO2 for 2 reasons

    1) it would take attention away from the current COD games such as Ghosts and whatever Sledgehammer bring out

    2) 3arc will be putting all there effort into the production of there next game

and even if there was more DLC released it wouldn't be zombies only, as the multilayer community is too large to be ignored in a DLC release a this point.Maybe a small update such as wunderfizz in all maps would have been nice but after so long I would doubt even that.

Also, as TEX mentioned, it is important to take care with how you present you posts. One solid sentence with no punctuation is not only hard to read but may put people off you post and putting in your own ideas can give people a starting point for discussion rather that just asking a question

  12. I would say to eliminate the brains system ASAP, mostly because the negatives have seemingly outgained the positives. The regulars know who are readable and who to avoid, we do not need a number to compare popularity. And partly because I'm jealous of Boom's godly brain tally. I suspect he is a hacker who gave himself those brains.

    Happy Sunday.

I don't think removing brains is the right move as I still believe this can be worked out, but I feel a lot of the problems surrounding brains are due to the fact that we are currently in the off season and a lot more threads are becoming non-zombie related(For lack of a better term), but people still want to recognise the effort and quality of these non-zombies posts and use brains to do this.

The reason I think problems are arising because there are differing opinions on use of brains, from those who used brains on the old forums exclusively for zombie related stuff and the people who now participate in a lot more non-zombies stuff and are using brains for the first time.

I believe it is important that a compromise is made here, either brains is accepted as a site-wide method of praise or they are restricted to zombies related content.

Or a new system is introduced for non-zombies stuff and brains are kept exclusively for zombies relate stuff.

If no method can be generally accepted then it may be appropriate to remove them altogether

Maybe those options are not the best but I feel they are good guidelines to work off, or maybe everyone is already in agreement and there has just been an issue with communication but I personally believe the problems should still be formally dealt with one way or another

  13. Although it sounds like an interesting idea, I highly doubt we would ever see it happen.

Firstly because they are probably working on some new maps that will also further the story in the next 3arc COD

And secondly because the maps just aren't suited for that sort of play, there are no clear entry or exit points in the maps to allow there to be a way to travel and certain guns/perks could make different areas unbalanced.

Although I still like the idea, I've often imagined being able to use the Kino teleporter to show up in der riese or traveling to a different map using ascensions lunar lander

  14. I 100% agree with chopper, but I have to admit to giving some brains to a funny post a while back, thinking about it, that is not the correct way to use them.

I think a "like" system, without rank, could work as a solution, or what would you guys think about maybe removing brains from off topic and community centre, if they are supposed to indicate praise of excellent zombie related theroys and strategies is there really a need for them in those places?

That doesn't mean the content there cannot be of a high quality, it just isn't the right kind of content deserving of brains

  15. As someone with less than 1000 posts in nearly 4 years I suppose my position would be obvious :P

I have to agree that when there is a topic with a lot of replies I don't want to read meaningless posts (Though not all short posts are meaningless), I believe that the short relies of "I agree" are not necessary as we have a system that is designed specifically to do that, you give the post brains and then you can even enter a short message about why

  16.

Please don't bump this thread by writing the word "bump". There is a button you can use near the top of the thread if enough time has passed.

Also it looks quite rude considering you took the time to do that, and not to respond to the varied counter-points to your theory.

Here at CoDz we submit pretty much every idea to conjecture. If you can't give solid premises, your conclusion will not be accepted.

You could of just PM'd me your problem instead of posting it on here. I actually thought you had something worthwhile to say.

    This is quite sad.

MAM wasn't pointing out something he disagreed with personally he was stating the rule and expectations. Just because you don't agree doesn't mean they are not "Worthwhile"

  17. I looked at russmans connections to broken arrow a while ago, while I couldn't really find anything solid or as impressive as this I did find a few interesting things regarding the N4's connections to Broken arrow

Obviously we know Russman was a member of Broken Arrow
"Broken Arrow seems like a long time ago... back then Stu was little more than a babyfaced-brat."

Russman was actually very well respected at the height of his career at Broken Arrow (If we are to believe what he and Stu say)
Russ: "I miss the good old days when people did what I told them to do without talking back and giving sass. One day fools"

"I used to be somebody. Now I'm a cypher, a delirious character of my former self... Why is that?"

Stu:"Hey! You leave that Hero alone!"

Presumably at Broken Arrow, Russ trained Stu. Judging by the tone of the conversation It is even possible he was specifically trained to kill zombies.

Russ:"Come on, Stu! Remember your training! .. I did train you didn't I?"

"Time to put that training into play Stuhlinger!"
"Come on! Show Russman you were paying attention!"
"Stay alive boy. Like you've been taught how to do"
"Time to push you outta the nest"
"Buck up Son, you can take 'em!"

And as we know, Russman didn't leave broken arrow on good terms, possibly due to Marltons actions

Russ:"Damn Marlton and his dumbass mouth. Ruined everything"
"Drink once from the wrong well and everyone calls you a monster"

"I hate these quiet moments. Too much time to think about how I messed up my life"

I also noticed a strange quote about teleporters, and I don't remember any teleporters on any of the N4 maps (At least any that "Zap" you) so that suggests there were teleportation tests of some kind at Broken Arrow

Russ:"Did we just get zapped like we do with the teleporters?"

I also found a quote that suggests a relationship between stu and Russ that I hadn't considered before.

Stu:"I'm coming to help Daddy [Russman]! ... err, ehh.. daddy-o!"

Stu and Russ do seem to have a bit of a Father-Son relationship in some of there quotes and of course this could simply be due to the time they spent together, with Russ having a very protective role over Stu, but it is still an interesting idea.

(All quotes took form Slades All BO2 Story Quotes Scripted)

I hope It's ok me throwing this in here but I though it was appropriate if you were interested in Broken Arrow
