Call of Duty: Mobile Battle Royale map revealed

The Call of Duty: Mobile game beta testing continues on Android in select regions only as Activision gears up to bring Call of Duty to Mobile as a free to play title on iOS and Android this year.

As we mentioned last week, the Mobile game will feature three modes — Multiplayer, Zombies, and Battle Royale.

Today, some users are reporting that Activision has opened up some testing of the Battle Royale mode in the Mobile game and now we have our first look at the map for the mode — which is different than Blackout. This map actually combines Modern Warfare and Black Ops locations into one Battle Royale mode for the Call of Duty: Mobile game, including areas like Crash, Estate, Standoff, and more.

    Here’s the map:

Some users are reporting that the Battle Royale is still in an early developmental state experiencing some issues while playing, but that is expected with the beta version of this game as it gears up for launch later this year.

The Call of Duty: Mobile game is developed by Tencent’s TIMI studio and published by Activision. It will be available later this year for free on iOS and Android.

I still intend to make posts around here, Zombies has been my life for 12 years and that isn't going to stop anytime soon.

My "space flower and rainbow" pic were painted by my gf in the 80s. We're still friends, I was at her wedding in 2019.

From 1960-something to about 2000, the rainbow flag was the all inclusive symbol of acid freaks and usually dead heads (Grateful Dead). At the turn of the century, our flag and motto were usurped by the gay community, which was mildly awkward. I don't care at all if someone is homosexual, but my pic is the old school hetero acid freak flag for any who contemplate these things and wonder.

Note the diamond stars: "shall we go, you and I, through the transitive nightfall of diamonds" -Dark Star, Grateful Dead.

      Happy gaming!

    • Time for a game of good news/bad news. The good news, at least for Activision, is that Call of Duty remains a sales juggernaut, generating over 3 billion dollars in the last year. For players, the bad news is that Season 1 of Call of Duty: Black Ops Cold War and Warzone has been delayed, albeit by only one week.  The official Call of Duty blog states the team needs a bit more time to prepare Season 1’s launch, so it will move from December 10th to December 16th. Warzone is getting a new map, a revamped Gulag experience, as well as over 30 weapons from Black Ops Cold War.   Speaking of which, Black Ops Cold War will receive new multiplayer maps, more 6v6 modes/playlists, the return of 2v2 Gunfights (with four new maps), new Zombies modes, and the return of the Raid map from Call of Duty: Black Ops II. On top of all of that, expect free weapons, season challenges, and the launch of the 1000-level cross-title Seasonal Prestige system.  The delay stinks, but Call of Duty has been firing on all cylinders regardless. Activision touts that the franchise has earned over 3 billion dollars in net bookings in the last 12 months. Additionally, the last year has seen over 200 million active players between Call of Duty: Black Ops Cold War, Call of Duty: Warzone, as well as Call of Duty: Mobile. Activision claims this is the highest number of recorded players across console and PC in history, and the biggest November in terms of monthly players and hours played.  For more on Call of Duty: Black Ops Cold War, check out our review. The game is available now for PlayStation 5, PlayStation 4, Xbox Series X/S, Xbox One, and PC. View the full article
