    Hi all, First of all, I would like to start with a quote by @Steelie, almost two years ago (jeh man, we're getting old): Not sure if that thought still goes for you, my friend, but I still have an everlasting curiousity to the Unknown. Which is why I felt I wanted to share my, if I can call it like that, 'personal adventure' of last sunday... I knew the place from a friend of mine, who practised mountain biking in a nearby forest (10 km from my village). He talked about seeing large concrete complexes in the middle of the woods, bunkers of some sort. When I felt like walking with my dog in the forests, I thought 'why not there?'. The drive to the location was an adventure itself, with the fat little one next to me on a chair, sitting relatively relaxed for a car ride with Green Day way too loud on the music box. Anyways, we arrived at a parking ground at a pancake restaurant, near the bunkers. From here, we found a muddy way, not that much used (understatement) in the direction where the bunkers had to be. As the road turned into a river more and more, I eventually stumbled upon a fence, among with a sign saying NO ENTRY. The fence seemed to end my little journey, but when I walked a bit further I discovered a tree, blown over by the wind fallen exactly over the fence. As I climbed over this unforeseen helper, whilst carrying my little one, I saw my destination: A row of grey, grim structures that was hidden in a seemingly artificial planted coniferious forest. There was still an asphalt road connecting them, although overgrown by all sorts of grasses. The bunkers almost seemed to be Vaults of 'Fallout', with opened doors of at least 30 cm thick. They were buried under hills of sand, complete with trees and plants, probably to camouflage them for enemy sattelites. Most of the once military highly guarded complexes were now fallen victim to vandalism and graffiti. One of the bunkers had a large white, almost fluorescent text writting on the backwall, eerily saying 'NO END'. Gotta admit, that one almost send shivers down my spine. The bunkers in this row were numbered 101 up untill 118, 115 not being excluded. At the end of the row was a small, brick building, consisting of a hallway with tree rooms. I ignored this building, as it looked like a stinky by junkies used house, looking not nearly as interesting as the bunkers. When I had seen enough, and exited the terrain, however, I heard a loud 'BANG' coming out of the little brick building. Probably the wind smashing a door, but the idea someone was there, watching me all the time, creeped me. Once exited, I used internet to investigate the structures I had investigated. Apparently, the area was an enormous military ammo depot for the German Bundeswehr, used from 1962 till 1997, to store bullets and bombs. This would explain the thick steel doors. The trees overgrowing the bunkers indeed used to function as camouflage, due to fear for Soviet sattelites. Apparently after the Cold War, the Bundeswehr sold it to the Belgium ministry of defense (I was in belgium the entire time!), which demilitarised the area and gave it to nature, as it connected the wildlife of tree large forests. Another interesting thing I found out was that the terrain was 100 hectares big, containing 80 bunkers. I merely saw the tip of the iceberg! The area was still lightly guarded weekly by a soldier with a German shephart, and apparently some folks organized an illegal technoparty in one of the bunkers some years ago. Much more I couldnt find on internet. When I came back to the living world from this real life Zombie map, I went to the pancake restaurant to get some sort of 'pancake calzone'. The little one had to wait till we were back home to get her slobby food.

    So I would like to discuss about one of the least talked, yet very important details of Classified: Broken Arrow's recreation of the MPD. Besides this picture, a cipher is our only source of information concerning this topic. Written in 1963, McNamara states that the MPD copy is being constructed in Groom Lake, and not at the Hanford Site. In the 1960s, the US and USSR were involved in the global Cold War, a battle between communism and capitalism. As both powers were desperately trying to be the first to fly to the Moon, secretly in order to scavenge the precious left-overs of Group 935 in Griffin Station and becone the world's sole superpower, the American organization known as Broken Arrow was focussing on an alternative way for reaching Luna: Matter Transference. The astronauts of the first Moon landing, accomplished by the US, might actually have used an M.T.D. , built by Broken Arrow at Groom Lake. I previously theorized that the Avogadro might be the product of MPD testing, and Hanford's 'Power Plant' being the MPD, as the Timeline notably uses the word ''accidently''. This contradicts the cipher, where is stated that the MPD was being reconstructed at Area 51, and not in Hanford. The Avogadro (and Denizens), however, are created years later, in 2025, so the possibility that Broken Arrow transfered the MPD to the Hanford Works is still open. Anyway, at the time Classified takes place, the MPD still is located in Nevada, as are Ultimis. Coincidence? Why is Doctor Richthofen still so calm in that cage, as everything goes to plan? What could happen next? What would happen anyway, if two souls both would enter an MPD? If we will ever get to know, this will give us alot more info about the understanding and capabilities of the Aether Pyramid Device.

    While wandering through some Classified intelligence, I thought it would be a little nice to actually give you some real life information about that time. This thread includes no new information, but it might set a better atmosphere for the era we have to think in while investigating the documents. Time: The Cold War Location: The "East" In BO4's map Classified, the following document was found: A report written by the CIA member Cornelius Pernell, the former assistent of both Peter McCain and the Marine squad including Tank Dempsey. In this paper, he makes a notation about the discovery of the fact that Richthofen made a secret deal with the Soviet Union administration, and so "played both the US and the USSR". Two important details: Richthofen did this around the same time the American Operation Stapler began, in 1946. Richthofen demanded a Global Polarization Device (GPD) of the Soviet Union. According to this document, the Ascension Group was involved very tightly in this process. As the Eastern GPD was built in Shanghai, it appears that this organization had it's influence reaching even in China. How so? Let me give you some history. Sino-Soviet friendship In the course of World War II, both the Chinese nationalist party and the Chinese communist party, under Mao Zedong, set aside their civil war to fight the Imperial Japanese invasion. Stalin, leader of the USSR, who was fighting a war over land against the Japanese as well (as the Americans were fighting an insular and marine war), cooperated with the Chinese communist party against the Japanese. When WW2 was over and the Chinese Civil War continued, the communist party emerged victorious. China now being communist, the Red Army, however, remained their troops in Manchuria, and kept the spoils of war 'stolen' from the Japanese army (Remember how there are theories discussing the possibility of the Rising Sun facility being in Manchuria?). It was around this time Richthofen made his deal with the Ascension Group, and they had to fulfill his demands, among which the building of a GPD. As China was a great ally of the USSR, and seemed "under controll", Shanghai was chosen as location for construction. Why China (and not Siberia, Uzbekistan, Kazakhstan, etc), I don't know, but it might have something to do with the relative close proximity of the abandoned Rising Sun Facility. Another possibility is that a Chinese subdivision of the Ascension Group had to handle the GPD, as the Ascension Group itself was focussing on matter transference near the Baikonur Cosmodrome, Kazakhstan. Sino-Soviet split But China didn't remain an ally of the USSR. Mao considered the existing communism too much based on industrialized European societies, while China still was an agrarian one. Thus, he began to transform his ideology into an Asian version: Maoism. This were the first steps towards the so-called Sino-Soviet split. In 1958, Mao started developing the Great Leap Forward, in an efford to make China an industrialized nation. A radio in Kino der Toten summarizes this: Costing milions of Chinese lives, Mao succeeded his purpose, and China now was, economically, a potential competitor of the old developed nations. The mighty USSR, however, now felt more vulterable, as the Eastern bloc now included more than one superpower. Chinese de-stalinization and conflicting national interests detorioted the Sino-Soviet relationship even more. The Ascension Group had to regret their location of choice for the GPD, now already built by their Chinese sister organization. As Stalin had died (1953), the USSR and the West started the first bit of reconciliation and cooperation, among which even mutual technological aid for nuclear weapons. China considered the Soviet "peacefull" coexistion with Western nations dangerous, and felt treatened by their northern neighbours. As communism was fracturing, small-scale border wars even started at the Chinese-USSR border. The USSR had the benefit of having nuclear weapons, though, but not for long, however... In the early 1960s, American organizations considered ways to either sabotage or directly attack Chinese nuclear-bomb programs (possibly done by split-offs of the Ascension Group spit-off, complicated eh?), but the USSR government refused a joint Soviet-American fire-strike out of fear launching a nuclear war. At the end of the decade, China had it first nuclear bombs. The American administration warned the Soviet Union that any first-strike now would provoke a nuclear WW3. Distrusting the USSR and aware of their nuclear treat, China started building nuclear bunkers all over the country, among which the Beijing Underground City and Underground Project 131 near the northern border (check out those locations, they look really cool and could even function as a potential zombie map. China and the Soviet Union now were each others enemy number 1. In 1990, the Soviet Union dissolved and the Cold War was officially over. China, however, still owned Richthofen's GPD, as it did during the entire Cold War. For 44 years, an unknown Chinese sciencific research organization had been able to investigate and experiment with Element 115. What countless possibilities could have happened during this time? Why do we have such little intelligent about this subject of the Zombies Saga? To be continued...

    1. Shi no numa. At the end of the day Nacht was the prototype map, and we love it for what it was. 2. Gimme 48 hours to update. Been in an Xbox mood lately. Probably gonna be AE. 3. IX. Probably in my top 5 maps of all time. 4. Shadows. Kinda uninviting for an on-disc map, but still a masterpiece in its own regard. 5. Buried. Voyage is great, but it looks like they finished making IX and were like “alright now lets make the harder / bigger IX.” Like it could be the “same map” but with just a different layout. Buried is just radically different. Hella buildables, unique mechanics, etc. 6. Der Eisendrache. Potentially my favorite map of all time honestly. Like the “story” of that map was so compelling. You saw the consequences for every step along the way in the easter egg, and it made sense and had a progression. Some easter eggs are just a bunch of disjointed steps that have nothing to do with anything, like why am I shooting this lantern? But Eisendrache was like, oh we gotta get into the safe, but we don’t know the combo, so lets go back in time and peep over the shoulder of the last guy to lock it, etc. it was like an actual story unfolding. Moon had a very compelling EE as well in the same way, but DE brought the first real boss fight, 4 elemental weapons, great contributions to lore, just tons done right. Some of my favorite cyphers. 7. TranZit. Screw the haters, it might not be the best, but I’ve had fun on TranZit. Denizens and lava suck, pack a punch sucks, jet gun sucks, but I prefer that over bootleg nacht. The map with the greatest potential room for improvement if they remaster. 8. Mob of the dead. Kino has a special place in my heart, but sorry, I have a tattoo of the afterlife eye, ez pick. 9. Verruckt. I’ve probably got way more play time on “five” than verruckt, but frankly, verruckt is just so nice. The first “real” map imo, atmospheric as hell, definitely comparable to five in terms of close-quarters-ness, but there ain’t no trench gun on five. Plus Classified just blows five out of the water regardless. 10. Ascension. I love Blood for its contribution to the story obviously, it’s just a really well done map narratively / thematically, but gameplay wise it kinda pales in comparison to IX for example. I’ve put an ungodly amount of hours into ascension, splitscreen, solo or otherwise. It really blew my mind coming out of kino, when the whole aesthetic up until then was nazi / axis stuff, then suddenly it’s a cold-war cosmodrome. From then on every map after that had a wildly different aesthetic. I think that’s where they really caught their stride and realized they could go anywhere. It’s also like the perfect example of how the zombies story is told in like a vignette format, like each map is a brief snapshot of a large timeline that we aren’t privy to. You spawn in on a lunar lander like “how the hell did we get here?” and just immediately have to start deducing stuff based on dialogue and surroundings. Nice. 11. Shangri-la. Zetsubou was a good map, glitches aside, but there wasn’t really anything there storywise. We knew we were coming for Takeo’s soul. Shangri-la was also a kinda “filler-map” in terms of it being a small step in richtofen’s grand scheme, but they wove it into the story of Brock and Gary, which was really interesting and set up major themes for the series. Zetsubou didn’t really feel like its “own” map in the same way. 12. Classified. Weird choice maybe, but i dunno man, Classified is like the “The Giant” of BO4, and I think I can’t help but favor it just by virtue of the fact that it’s in BO4. I just love the specialists, perks, elixir systems and such, and it feels really good. Perfect example of the Takeo Effect: take something disliked, shelve it for a few years, then bring it back in a more badass form and it instantly becomes everyone’s favorite. Some combination of nostalgia and the realization of potential that you always saw there. Classified doesn’t compare to Gorod in terms of its epic scale story wise and emotionally, but Classified is so OG with the radios and the storyline developments, and the aesthetic is killer. Winter’s howl ate its wheaties this time around. Just so much to love. Ultimis Cast. 13. Der Riese. No contest. 14. Call of the Dead. Hell yea. I really reeeeally hope they remaster Town though. I love the minimalistic maps like nuketown, and with bo4 mechanics it would be lit. 15. Origins. Everybody likes Oranges.

    Today I explored the underground area of Ghost Town on the Blackout map in hopes of finding some easter eggs related to zombies. What I found was minimal and somewhat disappointing, but still may be worth sharing. As many may know, you can acquire the Ray Gun Mk 2 from the dartboard easter egg by throwing a tomahawk. Here is an image (not mine): Many may also know that you can find the grave of Arthur, a.k.a. Leroy, a.k.a. your best friend in Buried: But what else is hidden in Buried? Well, not much unfortunately. In the grave yard there are a few more graves, but I am almost 100% certain they are the same graves from the Black Ops II version, low resolution and all: Also, upon entering the mansion, you no longer see the same painting that was there in the original (Someone please remind me, Google and the CoD wiki are terrible for this). You see this man, who also appears in the courthouse along with another man's portrait: Lastly, and most significant of all of these, is along with many pictures on the wall of locations around Buried/Ghost Town, there are pictures of a group of 3 people, and one looks very familiar: The lady in this picture looks a lot like the ghost of the house, and her presumed husband may be the one in the paintings who also owned the house. We can also gather they had a son who is not mentioned or seen anywhere else? Jeb Brown? Mother bit by a critter? Probably not.

    1. Shi No Numa: While NDU is seen as the 'ultimate classic map' by many, SNN is where the story started going somewhere. Also, I love how the developers created a grim and eerie atmosphere out of a natural environment. 2. Die Rise: Not really fair, as I've never played Ancient Evil, but Die Rise is actually one of my favourite maps. The elevators and verticality of the map made this map really unique in any way, and I like that Asian megacity apocalypse style it is set in. 3. Nuketown: That map is so just much fun, espessially split-screen. The fact that the Perks (and PaP) fall out of the sky in a random order makes every game different. 4. Shadows of Evil: The layout of that map is so beautifull 5. Buried: I like the fun. I like the atmosphere. What else do I need to add? 6. Moon: I've never been a real fan of DE. On top of that, Moon ranks second as most favourite map 7. TranZit: Well, I guess you all know what my favourite map is....so no explanation. 8. Kino der Toten: While MotD appears to be a masterpiece, I've never really got into it (also, its my only non-bought BO2 DLC). Next to this, Kino is just a classic runner, with a bit WW2 and Cold War atmosphere added. Love it. 9. Verrückt: This was a tough one, they're both great maps. I've chosen for Verruckt objectively because the map introduced both the Perks and the Power. Also, I'm really fund on those seperated spawn points (and once again, the atmosphere). 10. Ascension: Fav map number 3. Don't ask me why, just like it alot. It also features the 'ultimate Ultimis travel atmosphere'. 11. Zetsubou no Shima: Though one again, I like both, but I think I would be quicker bored on Shangri La. I am also fund on the difficulty of both maps. 12. Classified: Just don't like the fantasy/sci-fi thing of GK (dragons, robots, AI, etc). Also, this is a way to repay my respect to Five (sorry number 9). 13. Der Riese: This map includes just so much intel about everything of the æther story. I also like the history and science based aspect of this map (all based on real science and history/conspiracy). 14. Town: Aww, this map has just so many memories. 15. Farm: I know its an unpopular opinion, but I just like Farm more than Origins. Dont say its better, I just like it more

    (PS4, BO4) I usually play on casual unless i'm doing EE, then I play on normal. Frag: wow, they can make crawlers?? i figured that was removed, unlike in the old games. maybe equipment is weaker on higher difficulties? Acid: same deal as frags, one hit kill on casual Clay: i like em. only problem is i'll forget where i place them and i'll run through one with a train and it will backfire on me Wraith: easily my favorite. fast and deadly. great for reviving teammates (throw one at their downed body and it is basically a shield while you are reviving them) and they are great shields while being swarmed at the box or PAP! my only complaint is that it seems like TA nerfed them. they used to be instant kill, now it takes a second or two to get it done Sentry: hate it. slow to recharge, slow to deploy, limited rotating horizontal field of view. limited deploy areas. and it only lasts a very short while! my highest round on casual is 69, but to be honest i haven't tested specifically they longeivity of any equipment damage. all i can say is that i usually run with Wraiths and they have never let me down!

    Here is the next chapter, Little Resistance. It follows Peter McCain in his earlier missions as a Marine in the Pacific front. https://www.callofdutyzombies.com/story/book1ch14/ WARNING: This chapter takes place during an event known as the Bataan Death March. It was a war crime by the Japanese in which thousands of American and Filipino forces were forced to endure six days of walking to a train station in San Fernando, where they were then packed into trains and shipped to cruel internment camps. This chapter has some brutal death based on real life atrocities committed by the Japanese during the march, so if you are faint of heart, read carefully, and I understand if you cannot read any further. I will put up a disclaimer for chapters like this. There is humor in this chapter, as Peter is meant to be a man who uses humor to cope with pain and stress, but this is not meant to downplay to importance of this real life event. As another note, this chapter is a bit shorter than some previous chapters, and while writing it I was doing a lot of reformatting of my plans for each chapter in this book. I kept trying to cut out chapters to have an average page length more like that of a real novel, as if I keep the chapters as long as they have been the book would be much too big. But then I thought, I really shouldn't be doing a disservice to this story by omitting so much, especially since I am posting it here where there is no limit. From now on I am going to ignore any thoughts about a chapter being too short/too long or being unnecessary to the overall book because if I try to think too far ahead I will end up stifling what I can do with this story. Of course, if I ever did release a physical version of this book, I would change a ton, and write a whole second draft that is more concise, or I would split it up into two books. But for now, I'm going to remain somewhat unpredictable.

    Hey all! Recently, in a wack drunk moment, I told someone I was going to practise playing guitar, something that randomly popped up in my head and I actually felt like doing. Next day, I took my sisters akoustic guitar and started practising...and I gotta say, its so much fun. Really different than piano (what I used to play) in any way.     Not related to Classified, but a detail I was never sure of is the stone pyramid in Der Eisendrache. On the surface it just seems like a normal, small pyramid, but consider what it can do. It can simulate the Moon’s gravity over a large area, and it forms a connection with the MPD, enough so that Primis is able to teleport the Moon’s MPD directly to it. It seems to have been deliberately made to mimic the original and has a connection to it. The question is: who built it? If it was Richtofen’s group from Group 935, why is it made of stone, and why bother when they can instantly teleport to the MPD’s location? If it was the Wolf King’s men, how did they know about the MPD on the Moon, or was it by complete accident? Also if that’s the case, what a coincidence that Eagle’s Nest, the direct correspondant to the Moon, is created there. Maybe that is part of the cycle that Primis intended to continue when they instructed the Wolf King to build the castle. Anyway, I’ve gone off track from the bigger picture: what this could mean for the future. My guess is they may not do anything with the MPD at all, as Monty would not be affected by it as far as we know. But, leaks have revealed that Nuketown is coming, and being right outside of Groom Lake, we could see this little detail paid off...

    I mostly play BO4 zombies, I have played BO3 zombies however I haven't really appreciated zombies until BO4. The Choas storyline is whatever, but the Aether storyline is the best. I prefer the Choas maps though, however, the story in my opinion, is dull.

    1. Shi No Numa: cause it offers more variety than Nacht. 2. Ancient Evil: I dunno I only played a bit of Evil, but gotta say that I like the map a bit more, just cause it is visually more pleasing. 3. Nuketown: It is simple and cool looking and also a lot of fun. 4. Shadows of Evil: It is funny, that it has to go up against Revelations, cause Shadows is probably my favorite map from BO3 at this point and Revelations is my least favorite. 5. Voyage of Despair: Cause Buried makes me sleepy. 6. Moon: NML> Everything else. 7. Tranzit: Cause Bus Depot is playable in it. But I also like Tranzit in general. 8. Kino der Toten: Cause it is what every map should be and it has the "My first map bonus". 9. Five: Just another example of why BO1 zombies is best zombies. 😛 It also has the first "buildables" which is cool as well. 10. Ascension: I am a sucker for these simple maps and it has the funniest qoutes and the better EE song. 11. Shang ri la: One of my favorite maps ever and the first one to go beyoned 40 for me and it has the best wonder weapon. :3 12. Classified: I hate GK and Classified brought Ultimis back. 13. Dead of the Night: It is more fun for me and it is not too complicated. Otherwise I picked Der Riese. 14. Call of the Dead: I have very fond memories of this map and them adding George Romero and how they handled him from a game play perspective was great, also it was the last map in Zombies history to not feature the forced team work BS. As far as I know. 15. Origins: I love this map, even though I should hate it on paper, but @Electric Jesus showed me the way (Pun intended) and I started to apreciate it a lot.

    Heyo, CoDz family. I am 4 days late, but you know what they say: If life gives you a delay make lemon juice. Just wanted to check in with you fine folks and read what life has in store for you folks in 2019. Of course more zombies content, but if you feel like it, then you can also write about your life. The past six months have been very quiet for me, which was a nice change of pace cause 2014 til 17 have been very grueling for me. From what it looks like I will be able to properly start to work this year, though I am scared as hell about that. More specifically about not being able to deal with the people around me and setting the bar too high for myself which only leads into disappointment, but I will try my best. Other than that I became a two time uncle this past year, cause my brother got a baby girl and seing both little children experience Christmas is truly something beautiful. I am looking forward to KH3 and the new Star Wars episode this year and Sekiro. Other than that I have no expectations for 2019, cause it will be shit anyway. haha Unless BO IIII keeps geting good maps. haha I don't have much more to say other than thanks for sticking with us. ily xoxo

    Hey, guys. I didn't really expect to make a "Part Two" just yet for this, but... I've come to some interesting revelations regarding the series that I feel are important to share. That... and, I suppose this post will serve as a worthwhile update to the progress I'm on. So, with that said, I think I'm going to just jump into it. I grew up with Call of Duty being a large part of my life. It seems like a "typical" thing to say, and it really is, but... these games have affected me on a certain, deeper level. I have vivid memories of me and my brother loading up Big Red One, or Call of Duty 3, on our PS2, and I recall being absolutely enamored with the games to the point of near obsession. It was... that level of enjoyment, for me. Of course, this was around the time I was in First Grade, and... admittedly, I didn't really know anything about taste in games or whatever. I still sat around playing stuff like Crash Bandicoot (specifically Wrath of Cortex, and I like that game to this day), and both Battle for Bikini Bottom and the Spongebob Movie Game (both are pure fun to this day as well). But it was something else, y'know? Just... that different type of feeling. I grew up with the changes as they came, and... y'know, by the time World at War came around and I had heard of a Zombies mode, you could not imagine my level of jealousy. I had a Wii, so we were very much barred from the oh-so-precious Nacht der Untoten. I didn't end up playing a single bit of Zombies until Black Ops 1 came to the Wii two years later. (I should probably mention for the sake of the story: Our PS2 overheated and the Wii was a Christmas gift.) Playing Zombies for the first time kind of lit a spark in me, in a way not a lot of games would do. I feel like I forget how much the mode has impacted my life at times, and I should be humbled by what it's done, and where I came to with it, but... that first game that I played, and my first noob-level death at round 3 was... almost surreal enough for me. I didn't really care for much else than the experience of the game. I grew to be good at it within the span of a year's time. Hell, I think my first Round 30 was on the Wii. Then, y'know, times change and shift, I find myself on an Xbox and Black Ops II came out... and, just... I dunno. I like the barebones difficulty of Black Ops 1 Zombies. I cannot possibly keep a secret like that dug down in this brain of mine forever. Black Ops 1 is perhaps the best iteration of Zombies. Black Ops II is indeed an incredible evolution of the mode, and adds perhaps some of the best mechanics to come out of the mode in quite some time, but... the base game was changing. By Origins, it was more about power to the player. Which, yes, is a perfectly fine thing, and can be incredibly entertaining. But... too much power makes a poor man ill-spirited. By Black Ops III, it was all a bit too much. I think, at the core of it, the point I'm trying to get across is something like this: I want to, in creating a series of maps like this, be able to create it in a way that, while giving the player power, is still rooted in a barebones system. Like a mesh of the past three games in the series, perhaps, but a large chunk of Black Ops 1. I want to design something I would like to play. I want to actualize these maps in a way that, in my head, I can see myself sitting down and enjoying every second of it. I guess that's what this whole series is, most of the time, though. A self-actualization trip. With a lot of mechanics scattered and questioned, meshed like putty until I find a way to make it feel like art. ...good lord, that sounds conceited now that I say it. Though, that's essentially the essence of the matter. Probably the reason I feel ever so passionately about this series, actually. Because it's my canvas. I'm the "Monty" of my own world. A cosmic painter, creating a portrait in a vast canvas, scrutinizing the little details I find... and fixing the ones that aren't working. But, that's just my thoughts on it. I kind of needed to find a way to get that off my chest, so... apologies if this all sounds conceited. Or... something like that. I'm working on getting towards an acceptable pace/percentage of completion on this series, believe me. All the elements are coming together! Just... need to let all that paint dry, so to speak.     A very unexpected chapter, I like it! Also, I adore the fact that it is (as is your entire Storybook, of course) based on real events, and the occurance of Takeo's father. Not sure what you mean here. I mean, it is totally normal for a book to have not-equal chapters, right? If you would produce a physical version (which would be, for real, AWESOME and I would definately buy it), why couldn't it have non equal chapters? One critique thing: In many chapters you are the devil in the details: describing how beautifull or gruesome the environment, a room, a person's expression, whatever is. This chapter does have that, but in a lesser degree than usual. I imagine the group walking through Filipinese jungle or whatever, with bodies on the edge of the muddy road or something, but thats up to the imagination of the reader (which has is charms as well). Perhaps lots of people like this 'faster' way of storytelling, but I'm more a guy for the details Btw also love your great metaphores, memories, life lessons and other 'short stories' in your story. This intro reminds me of the intro of the 'Hemlock Philosophy' chapter

    @Lenne @anonymous Looks like I'm reviving a dead post. Hello all! I am back and well. I will be brief to summarize my situation. My parents got divorced when I was about 4 or 5 years old. I am now 17 years old. Shortly before I started this thread, I was in a bad living situation, where I was consistently under abuse both mental and physical from my mother, due to her and my step dad's alcoholism. They would get drunk almost every night and focus their personal problems on me. Because of this, right after I pressed "post" on this thread, I ran away. At the time, I didn't have a car or a real plan, so I grabbed my phone, charger, and a rubik's cube in a backpack and took off down the driveway. I got a decent distance down the road when I met up with a friend of mine who kindly let me stay at her house for the night. From there, I contacted my dad (who lives about an hour away) and he drove over to where I was staying and picked me up. On the ride back to his house, I explained the situation. He was kind and accepting. Long story short, we scheduled a court date, and after a few months, I now officially live with my dad and step mom. During the move, I had to leave my job, and as a result I haven't had almost any money, and what I do make from doing household chores goes towards gas so I can get to and from school. Since moving, I decided to get into Drama/Play Production at my new school, and it's helped me fit in, but it takes up almost all of my free time. That and my money situation explains my prolonged absence. I know this post is a bit scattered, and I'm sorry about that. I'll be spending the next few weeks hopefully educating myself about BO4 and getting back into this, so hopefully I'll be back where I used to. Thank you all for your support in the past months.     I like both story lines to be fair. Although I would be lying if I said I wouldn't want more Aether maps. Possible Season 2 for BO4 during the next COD lifetime?
