Ah here we go :)

Starting off with the dragons... They're so cool! The fire is a bit annoying, but once you get the shield it's not that big of a deal anymore. And you can also ride a dragon to the distant house where pack-a-punch is located.

The shield is the my favorite of the shields in BO3 so far. The fire breath is very useful and can get you out of sticky situations. Also it's a one hit to the "russin mauler" zombies at least up until round 20 (that's my highest round so far)

The specialist weapon is a cute little dragon that acts like a flamethrower or you can can send it flying and use the  "power punch" ability which I don't like as much, but it's effective as well.

The lockdown at the pack-a-punch is one of the coolest things in the map. You got this very small house where you have to survive 4 waves of zombies and "russian maulers" coming from different sides of the house and on the last wave they're coming from all sides. I find this feature very fun since it offers a challenge and a reward, but it's not necessary to do it in order to play the map well. The reward is "Dragon Strike" which I haven't tried out a lot, but it seems to act like a monkey bomb? and then 3 blasts of green fire drops from the sky.

From the new weapons so far I like FFAR and PPSH. I think Shadowclaw is useful on multiplayer once upgraded, but on solo it's not useful. And the L4-Siege is... well a explosive weapons which might be good if you had something to take off the explosive damage. Still haven't got the Ray Gun Mark 3 though, but it seems to be pretty good.

The time trials are a good addition. They offer a good challenge that requires you to change your playing style from let's go "nice and slow" to "why can't you spawn faster!". The rewards are melee weapons (only got the first trial done though) which can be useful. Downside is that you have to go for this and this ONLY if you want to get the melee weapons. You can't do any other stuff done before round 20 or otherwise you're not gonna have enough time. But a great addition IMO :)

And of course we have the trials coming back from ZNS. Every player has 3 different trials you must complete and I'm pretty sure they're required to do the EE but I don't know yet. You get rewards for completing the challenges which is obviously nice.

I also like how the map feels pretty tight and doesn't have huge open areas and every open area is basically a dragons fire target so it's not all that great for training.

Also the opening cutscene is the best one so far :D It's so cool!

It's one of the harder maps in BO3 but I like it. I don't want to rank it on where it stands against other maps since it has advantage of being a new map so we'll have to think about that later.

  • The dragons are super cool and I like how they didn't make the fire an annoying feature, it can make things challenging sometimes but it can also really help you out in situations.
  • FFAR + PPSH are great additions to the maps, especially the FFAR which is gun I hope I get out of the box all the time. The NX ShadowClaw seems like such a waste of time, it's weak and worthless, even with the ability to revive downed teammates you still wouldn't catch me using it.
  • I hate setting up the dragon because it feels so boring and repetitive having to do it each game you play.
  • The Valkyrie drones are really annoying, I hate them so much and I feel like they are hard to kill but that might be me being a cry baby.
  • This map almost got the magic back into zombies but it wasn't enough to compare the feel of Shadows of Evil and Der Eisendrache which is something Zetsubou No Shima failed at doing too (I hope the last map is better)
  • I think the GKZ-45 Mk3 is a really good weapon but it's hard to tell because I've never had the pleasure of getting it out of the box yet but my teammates have and it's seems really powerful.
  • The map layout is good and I've found it's extremely easy to get out of sticky situations but that doesn't mean the map is easy because it really isn't.
  • The map is better than Zetsubou No Shima by a long shot but like I said it still doesn't stand up to Shadows of Evil and Der Eisendrache.
  • Oh and the cutscene was super cool and probably the best one so far.

Oh yeah I forgot about those... I like them actually. They feel like they serve more purpose than just a free max ammo and a round like dogs or spiders did. They are tougher, but not too hard. The shields fire is able to take them down in one shot also I find snipers pretty effective against them.

I think when the Treyarch Zombies "off-season" is upon us, Gorod Krovi will be looked at as "BO3's Mob of The Dead". Such a stupendous Map in my opinion. The reason I know I love this Map is because I spent 40+ hours on release day with little-to-no sleep EE Hunting and I still want to play this Map! I ain't "burnt" out on this map just yet ;) haha

My only qualm with this Map is that I wish there was a viable training spot. Yeah there's some dodgy places like Dragon Command stairs and Tank Station, but there's no "Ascension Landing Pad" or "Moon Biodome". I know some people think this makes the Map too easy but I like having a part of the Map where I can take a breather and not stress every time a group of 10+ Zombies gathers up.

But the weapons, the bosses, the Dragons, the EE, everything is else fantastic! Der Eisendrache still has a special place in my heart but I feel Krovi is superior to SoE and ZNS in every way. This map is "lit" ;) lol sorry again

I'm getting some MOTD vibes of this map as well :D

I think the map is good as it is as it's a bit more challenging without supereasy to train spots. It keeps you focused all the time... the biggest reason I fail on maps is if it's too easy I'll get bored and don't focus as much and end up making stupid mistakes.

I haven't been to the boss yet but the special type zombies are actually pretty good in this map :) the valkyries are actually a bit more than just a free max ammo and a round and the "russian mauler" zombies are not too hard but will bring some extra challenge. I really don't think they're "boss" xombies cause they'll spawn in every round and are pretty easy to deal with.

These stupid drones are really my only gripe with this map. They don't fit in the timeline at all. They look like something from a terminator or matrix movie. Wouldn't evil baby dragons have been so much cooler? And actually fit for the map? They could crawl around or fly, spit little burps of fire or scratch you. Yes there is advanced tech on this map, but nothing past modern day really. Then these drones come from decades in the future... how?
Dogs fit the story

Thief fit the map

monkeys fit the map

jumpers (die riese) fit the map

Bugs ehh don't like these much but they fit the theme in Shadows

spiders fit the map
