KT4 Upgrade Isuues

Hey everyone! I'm on Xbox one so I just got Zetsubou a couple days ago. I've been trying to complete the Easter Egg, but I'm having trouble upgrading the KT4. I know how to get all the parts for the upgrade and I've gotten them three times now and have not been able to upgrade. I'm not sure what I'm doing wrong, but when I go to the table to upgrade I don't even have the option. This has happened to me both in solo and co-op. If anyone is experiencing this problem or knows a solution, please let me know. Thanks!

Yoe need the kt4 in your hands and put it in - if you took the parts correctly you should be able to upgrade it

Aren't there two work benches for it? 

One to craft it, one to upgrade it?

Same thing is goin on with me. The first time i tried it took all my guns away and my money.. Did that happen to you as well?
