Do you think the static effect will return on the perks again?

It was really great seeing the perks and PaP have the static effect, to show they don't quite belong in that map. Since it looks like Shadows of Evil seems to be in a similar situation, do you think the static effect will return? If it is indeed connected to MotD in a "purgatory/afterlife" kind of way, it would be a great way to show the connection between the maps.

Plus those chime effects of the jingles were pretty good!

I hope so. It looked nice and added to the creepiness.

Speaking of the perks on MotD I hope we don't have to power them up perk by perk. Kinda annoying when you are in afterlife and then forget to power up a certain perk. I take the blame for that though haven't played it in such a long time just gotta memorize the map again, but I would just prefer the universal power switch.

While the fading perks would be a great way to show the connection, it would be really cool if they added a perk that belongs there which didn't fade.

Kind of, but something that would have a lot more meaning/connection. Plus it should be a full fledged perk, with a jingle and quote

I dont think so. Theres the new jazzy jingles in the files for the bo3 beta. They could go unused i suppose, but I doubt it.

The flickering would be cool, but maybe they could have a different while still similar effect to show the connection but be more relevant to the theme, like a shadow sweeping over them from time to time, turning the machine into a silhouette for a second.
