Have some class.

Hey folks. Just making a thread to post classes in. They can be the best, the worst, niche classes or whatever. As always, post yours and a description of it (game type, reason for use). Of the player types, I'm a Johnie (the tinkerer), so love making stuff, thinking up stuff. Other types: Timmy, loves big effects, guns. Spike, must win at all costs.

Domination class [Heartless]: long life explosives class; for explosives, you can spend 8 of your available point slots on basically 4 kills (if that) [kastet, ied, danger close, extra lethal]. This kind of sucks. This class is meant to help you move on after your explosives are gone.

Honey badger (silenced)/grip/ 3 burst.

Kastet

IED (c4)

Recon, extra lethal, danger close, hardline.

Specialist: focus (at 2), ready up (4), (empty).

Specialist bonus (7): sleight of hand, on the go, scavenger, resilience, blast shield.

The idea is to use explosives early to get your specialist perks.

The badger; free silencer, 3 burst conserves ammo until the SB can be obtained for scavenger. Usually kills in 1 burst.

Kastet: most reliable of the launchers in my opinion.

Ied: can be whatever. C4 may be best in Domination.

Start perks: for the explosives class (recon, dc, el) and to get the gun class quicker (hardline).

Specialist: all about turning into a gun class for the long run.

Trade empty kastet for ground gun or complete field orders for replenishment, if applicable.

I suggest Domination for this class as the explosives are for flag holding and the number of possible kills make the class viable in the long run.

Enjoy.

[True Sniper]: this is for lurking somewhere unseen. This has pulled me in my highest kdr games.

I'm now 10th prestige, so I use the gold pdw/tac knife instead of the p226.

Vks (silenced)/armor piercing/thermal sight.

P226 silenced (for movement rate).

Blind eye, incog, off the grid, focus.

The idea is to not be seen; no tacticals/ieds to give away your position. Hide in a bush or up a tree or lying in the grass.

Assault killstreaks: sentry gun (the only thing that can give your position away), hind, Loki.

Some of my Reinforce variations:

[Drone]:

Ripper/grip/rapid fire

Ied

Marathon, dead silence, focus, blast shield, extra lethal.

Specialist: ready up, resilience, on the go.

Bonus: sleight of hand, agility, scavenger, sitrep.

For smaller maps, switch focus/sleight of hand.

---

[Heavy smoker]:

Gold knife (regular will do).

Kastet

C4

Smoke

Marathon, dead silence, recon, resilience, extra tactical, extra lethal.

Specialist: gambler, strong arm, on the go.

Bonus: agility, sitrep, tac resist, blast shield.

If smoke isn't working out for you, try thermobaric or motion sensor.

Thermobaric: good for clearing explosives on flags and detecting hidden enemies (use with recon for best results).

Motion sensor: in areas that are commonly traveled near flags, or for disorienting players at a flag; when it goes off they are temporarily blinded/disoriented, perfect time to take them out.

[Trailblazer variant]:

Shield/radar (or knife)

Kastet

C4

Thermobaric

Strong-arm, dead silence, recon, sitrep, extra tactical, extra lethal.

Specialist: gambler, resilience, on the go.

Bonus: agility, marathon, tac resist, blast shield.

---

[Captwhore]:

Gold knife (or regular).

Kastet

IED

Agility, marathon, dead silence, blast shield, extra lethal.

Specialist: recon, resilience, on the go.

Bonus: ready up, sleight of hand, dead eye.

Note: it is unlikely to get the specialist bonus. The first few cheap perks are really what you get in this mode.

Assault killstreaks currently die when you do, making them pointless.

Alternately, one could use Support killstreaks: ammo crate, ballistic vest, squad mate. Then, late game when last man alive, call in the squad mate to help take a flag, call in the ammo crate to upgrade his weapon, and ballistic vests for all; you, bot, freshly spawned teammates.

These are just some variations, the gold pdw or a pistol secondary might serve you better. You may prefer different explosives that the ones that i listed.

---

[Look at me, I'm ten-p]

Gold knife

Gold pdw/tac knife

C4

Smoke

Marathon, agility, dead silence, extra lethal, extra tactical.

Specialist: resilience, on the go, gambler.

Bonus: sleight of hand, scavenger, focus, blast shield.

Enjoy!

[Now I'm a quickscoper]

While there is no aim assist in ghosts on snipers until you are aimed in, this sniper is still so easy to kill with that it looks like quickscoping. I've been footshot, I've hit knee level and gotten kills.

USR/chrome barrel/variable sight (small maps, use armor piercing instead of variable sight).

Gold pdw (or whatever, or skip secondary, use throwing knife/c4)/tac knife. For cqc.

Ready up

Sleight of hand

Quick draw

Dead silence

Focus

(Resilience if no secondary/tk/c4)

Dog/sentry/hind (whatever works for you and your skill level-I'm new to this class, so i didn't go high on killstreaks).

Try to aim the center of your screen where you travel, for quickscope shots in an emergency. Just keep out of the way and take people out with ease. Use secondary for close work until you get more proficient.

Any game mode.

[Weapon Specialist]

This is a gun centric class for camping/patrolling/flag watching, meant to cover all ranges and maximize attachment potential.

Honey Badger (silenced)/ub shotgun/armor piercing/tracker.

VKS (silenced)/armor piercing/thermal.

Ready up, focus, overkill, extra attachments.

Specialist: on the go, resilience, gambler.

Bonus: sleight of hand, dead silence, scavenger, blast shield.

Could easily be assault killstreaks: sentry, hind, Loki.

HB: loaded for bear.

Silenced/off radar.

AP rounds for cover/juggers/vests/sentries.

Tracker sight for picking out far targets/iron sights option.

UB shotgun for close range.

VKS: long ranger.

Silenced/off radar.

AP rounds/see above.

Thermal sight for picking out targets.

Camp for Loki or rack up specialist bonus to stay enemy number one. Not for r+g style.

Enjoy!

Edit: after some extensive use, the theoretical class gave way to the practical class: the hb jumps too much without the grip. I replaced the vks with the usr chrome/variable for more consistent longshots. I tried other rifles, but kept hitting ammo issues, so;

LSAT/ubsg/rapid fire/tracker

USR/chrome barrel/variable sight

Focus, overkill, extra attachments, gambler.

Sentry, hind, Loki.

The lsat had no ammo issues, the ubsg really takes folk by surprise. The Usr is reliable at range.

If you die (which happens), go back and scavenge the lsat/ubsg ammo from that spot, if feasible.

This has been quite useable online. It is hard for me to not r+g...

How do I have a positive kdr?

[winning is for losers]

Gold knife (combat knife will do)

Panzerfaust

Canister bomb

Agility, marathon, strong-arm, reflex, resilience, extra lethal.

Specialist: takedown, on the go, gambler.

Bonus: ready up, sleight of hand, quickdraw, focus.

Reflex and strong-arm make this useable (reflex reduces the arming time of the canister bomb and the weapon switch time). Build specialist package for scavenged weapons. Heck, people drop lots of cool weapons on the ground.

[arborist]

Chain-SAW

Ready up, sleight of hand, marathon, on the go, dead silence, resilience, focus.

Steady aim does so little, so it isn't in there. Focus is the real necessity with the SAW; otherwise the flinch makes it unusable. This is actually a fairly decent set up. Use the left trigger like a brake to adjust your speed while firing/strafing.

[shartshooter]

Maverick-A2/chrome/ACOG

C4 (or pistol, or throwing knife)

Ready up, quickdraw, sleight of hand, focus, dead silence.

[balls of steel]

Gold knife (combat knife)

Throwing knife

Agility, marathon, strong-arm, dead silence, incog, resilience.

Hide in grass, stab people. Get 'balls of steel' patch.

Have fun sucking!
