I doubt it. Have you ever heard of a Greek letter being reused in another language? Greek letters are archaic. We used them today in math because we ran out of the normal letters and because the Greek ones are never used. If you see a Δ in a math problem, then you immediately know it means change. I'm not saying it's impossible, but it sure is unlikely. Why would they choose something so obscure?
