361 Kills on NML, New WR & WORLD'S FIRST EVER 360+ Game!

Hey guys, so after my WR breaking 357 kill game this week I was messing with some things between PaP and Jugg today, got a nice start so I figured I'd start recording and continue the game. Little did I know what was to come!

This could have been a 363 but a couple of crawlers died out. I'll settle for 361 ;)

Can one of you guys, Chopper or Super or whoever, do a section on the between pap and jugg part? That is the only part that I can't get. I have pap down, normally 52-55 kills...but I use the 5 shots and always get 80 something kills...I can't figure out how to do it quickly and still get enough kills for such a high game.

That is indeed a very tricky part (considering mainly kills) for which no guide exists!

My general tip as I said on Skype the other day mate, if you watch my 357 video, I basically do one counter-clockwise loop of the big pool, drag around the 'pipe challenge' corner and sprint towards the stairs, before turning and shooting at my nicely compacted group. Works pretty consistently because you rarely get ambushed from behind when turning and shooting at the stairs. If you get blocked at the side drop or PaP you can cut back, go past the stairs, then cut back again at the corner and shoot from the same place. I'd now say, with a good spawn I get PaP and Jugg around 80% of the time because I've practiced and worked this out.

What I noticed immediately is that first shot - you turned at them, then already started to run back around before you'd even used a shot so you missed a lot of them. When I shoot, I hit them full on so most of them will die. The hoarding itself was very nicely done. The second shot also killed the bunch so was a nice shot.

Some horribly slow spawns there too it must be said, which never helps ;)

The first shot seems well placed, but since you are turning so bad ass there, it probably ended up not as precise as you would wish it. You can't even see, where it has landed, and why it had almost no effect.

I'd recommend:

Close distance to the train, so that the spray of the M&S cannot mess it.

Shoot in a way, that the explosion hits all zombies, which you did well. (I think Ehjookayted had opened a quicktip thread about this 2-4 weeks ago).

Aim very carefully. Take some time (maybe 1 second) to plan and aim the shot. You did that neither in the first, nor in the second shot!!!!

See and notice what happened with your shot, so you know how you can improve.

For the general thing between pap and jug. I think it's a good idea to get a ~10 train. Kill em with one shot. Get the next 10 train quickly. Kill with another shot. And repeat. Just as you did it.

Use hands' Hybrid, and have already like 1k-1.5k over, when you pap.

The running path itself is very individual imho. I like what you did. Some massive Circle around the center swamp, combined with some sidedrop stuff. It's just what I do. I normally went for the Sidedrop and went over to the big circle, whenever it got critical. Just make sure, you have a compact mass of zombies, when you wanna shoot. Make also sure, you have space to organize your zombie mass in a way, that your shot hits all of em.

Don't forget, even without Jug, you survive one MS shot on ya feetz. Therefore, you can use the MS also as a path cleaner in suited situations for that.

One important thing is imho, that used Shots do not matter that much at this stage. At the end of the game, you'll anyway have some shots left (say 3), that will not kill a single zombie anymore. Therefore, feel free to use those shots rather in the beginning. Of course this won't count for a sick WR game :mrgreen:. so when one shot goes wrong, don't give the game up. Be aware, that you can still make it easily! It was just one shot, that you would have had anyway left in the end of your 320 kill game.

See my run on my channel. I could tell you at least 5 shots, that were totally messed and useless. The doubleshot I gave after I came down after buying Jug did maybe 2 kills. 2 Shots wasted, but it was 317 (actually more if I didn't die in the last wave).

As well what helped me is, that points do not matter. Or overall, feel almost free, to play like you would with Jug, although you don't have it yet. Just one point to keep in the back of the head. Don't focus on "I need Jug!". Focus on "I need them dead, can get Jug later."

Don't be afraid to take a hit or take a shot on your feet. You survive one of these. Of course, a following dog hit would kill you, but it's NML. No risk no results.

I ain't a NML Pro, but that is just what comes into my mind, thinking of the part between Pap and Jug. Those were my major points, I had to keep in mind, for my 300+ game.

I'm sure there is many more to keep in mind... But I leave it to Super and Chopper and all the other NML Specialists ;)

Yeah as I explained to phx, looping the big pool is a really nice base, with cutbacks when needed. The 2 corners next to the stairs make excellent shooting points, you're not gonna get ambushed going past the stairs as you shoot.
