Zombie Suggestions

I suggest no more "HOSTS" why should the game end if 1 player left

The reason this won't work is because there are no dedicated servers in CoD. The cost to support the number of players and lobbies is just not feasible on that level. They MAY implement host migration in zombies thanks to it being on the multiplayer engine but otherwise the only way to remove hosts is with dedicated servers. Pretty sure pc has a few but I think the owner has to pay a monthly fee.

what they should do for zombies is put in an editor to create your own maps. i know that it might be too much space for it to be in the disc so what i was thinking is that they should make it a DLC.

it would probably be like around 2-4 gigs and if you want to download other peoples maps you could do that to for about 0.5-1.5 gigs.i think that it would be awesome to be able to create your own map with easter eggs and allot of other stuff. but before you say that it would be almost impossible to create a map just look at the Halo forge mode for creating a map and also look at some maps that people made for Trials Evolution combine those two together and you got the zombies editor. and i know that Treyarch cant just copy and paste Bungie's forge mode im not saying that, but what im saying is that they should take the simplicity of the Forge mode and a little of the editor in Trials Evolution and just combine the two

if they do decide to implement my idea into the game this is a little but of how im thinking that the main menu would look like this

-Campaign

{-New

{-Continue

{-Intel

-Multiplayer

-Zombies

{-Solo/Co-op

{-Xbox Live/PSN/Online

{-Editor(Classified)

-Settings

Im thinking that the editor will stay classified until you buy the DLC for around $20. and then when it is declassified the editor menu will look like this

-Editor

{-Start from scratch

{-Start from model

{-Continue

{-Upload

{-Community

Start from scratch is where you pick the sky and you start building in empty space

there will be a highest point, a lowest point and a mid point to show you the layout.

Start from model is where you pick one of the 6 preset models of maps and you start from there and keep building on

Continue i dont have to explain this but ill do it ether way, in continue you pick one of 10 save files and continue on

Upload you just upload one of your save files and let other people play on you awsomely built map

In Community you can download other maps and rate them out of 5 stars or in this case brains, i still need a snappy new name for "Community"

I think you are absolutely correct. They should create a map editor for the public, and release it as DLC. I think your examples for the size of the downloads, are a little low. Something that "in depth" would require a lot of memory. I would see it running about 6-9 gigs. It would be giant. To create detail that good, it would be giant.

In the new zombies mode there wont be that problem because i think it was in E3 that treyarch said that they were moving Zombies from the Campaign engine to the Multiplayer engine. this allows host migration in zombies. Like if the host leaves then it will go to host migration find a new host and continue the game from the exact same place.

I think he meant no hosts what-so-ever, like completely removing the host system altogether. I believe that would be rather difficult to accomplish though even with the game still several months out.

What I think they should do for zombies, is allow character customization, were every kill gives you so what points. Which means you can save up points or money and buy items for your character, also you can choose your own taunts or sayings when there is a lot of zombies or you get so many headshots in a row :)

Hi there folks, I am new around here.

I am an occasional Zombie mode player (I play at a friend's home who has the game since I don't, hahaha) but I like it a lot !

I always hoped for Treyarch to release a collector edition of all the zombie maps but the only thing they did that almost met my expectations was "Rezurrection".

So, about a year ago, I wrote down some ideas for a totally new Call of Duty game that would include a zombie mode, hoping that maybe one day, I would "have the balls" to send my suggestions to Treyarch...

Unfortunately, I haven't found any e-mail address I could send my suggestions to, but I found this wonderful forum !

So here I am now, sharing with you my thoughts.

My ideas for the Black Ops II zombie mode are very simple :

1. Include ALL previously released maps (Dead Ops Arcade excluded) and make them ALL PLAYABLE FROM THE START :

- Nacht der Untoten

- Verruckt

- Der Riese

- Shi no Numa

- Ascension

- Five

- Kino der Toten

- Shangri-La

- Moon

- Call of the Dead

2. Add some TOTALLY NEW MAPS like :

- a BUNKER on Omaha Beach at dawn where you have to stop waves of nazi Zombies coming from the sea and then as you progress and get further in the bunker, nazi zombies will also attack you from the mainland (World War 2 weapons).

- a MEDIEVAL FORTRESS that has been turned into a Nazi headquarter. The dead are rising from the castle's burial ground like in "Verruckt" (use WW2 weapons).

- a WOODEN CABIN in the woods at night like in the movie "Evil Dead" (cold war era weapons like in the map "Five"). Here you fight zombified campers and lumberjacks.

- an ARMY CAMP IN THE VIETNAM JUNGLE where you have to fight against zombified viet congs during a tropical rainstorm (cold war era weapons).

- a POLICE STATION under siege at dusk in an isolated town (present day weapons).

- an ABANDONED CHURCH during a storm where you can seek refuge in the upper levels and even the clock tower if the zombies enter the church (present day weapons).

- a MILITARY BASE IN THE NEVADA DESERT during an apocalyptical sandstorm (a map for the futuristic weapons of Black Ops 2)

- a TRADITIONAL JAPANESE MANSION property of a Yakuza clan (this detail is to explain the presence of weapons) surrounded by mist and packed with zombified salarymen, schoolgirls and samurai armor-wearing undead ! :-)

(also for the futuristic weapons of Black Ops 2)

3. create 4 NEW ZOMBIE MODES in which you could use C.O.D. VEHICLES :

- RESCUE MISSION : use a COMBAT HELICOPTER to gun down zombies and rescue groups of survivors trapped on the roofs & car parks of a city plagued by the living dead.

- NUKE'EM ALL : using a JET FIGHTER with vertical takeoff ability, help a group of civilians escape a zombie-infested town by slowing the undead down and once the civilians are safe, release an incendiary bomb on the town.

- ESCORT : using a HUMVEE, make sure a convoy of food, medicine and ammo gets to a military base. During the trip, hordes of the undead will attack you.

Use the turret on the Humvee roof to kill them.

- GATE GUARD : using a modified SENTRY GUN, stop waves of zombies in order to let in ONLY people that are NOT INFECTED.

NOTE : you can upgrade the sentry gun with more powerful guns, add a grenade-launcher and stuff like that

4. About the WEAPONS : I'm ok with the 2 rifles, but I think it would be even better to allow the player to keep the HANDGUN available as a secondary weapon.

Also, it could be interesting to introduce some DUAL WEAPONS like DUAL UZI, DUAL GUNS, DUAL SMG, just to spice up a bit the game ! ;-)

Here, these are my ideas for now.

So what do you think ?

Totally absurd or maybe interesting ?? :-)

I'm ok with 1,2 and 4 but with 3 i think you went a little over the top with the game modes. i do agree that they should have new game modes with vehicles except not too many, maybe 2 game modes with vehicles would be good. Also this sounds more like something that would be in spec ops than in zombies, but still good idea though. [brains]

Here are two things that I've been thinking about for a while and I hope too see some part of implemented in BO II zombies.

1) More small map challenges like NML. These are fun, quick, and light. Also it takes very little work on Treyarch's side and could be seen as an added bonus for us zombie fans. I would like at least some of them to have co-op capabilities. Here's an idea of one:

Hallway of Death: Up to four teammates. Leaderboard enabled, time or kill based.

You start in a long, dark, narrow hallway, boarded up windows run along the entire hallway except the very back. You see a mystery box in the back and notice you have 2000 points at start. No Perks Available. No wall guns.

You and your team clump up at the mystery box trying to get a decent gun. Zombies begin spawning opposite you at the farther away windows and are weak. Soon they start spawning closer and closer to you becoming stronger and stronger. Also there's no max amount of zombies that can spawn at once rather a continuous spawn starting slow ending brutally fast. Good luck.

2) Easter Eggs that open up whole new areas of the map or even a whole new map! Think of how cool it would be to finish a long hard easter egg receive your perk/gun rewards and notice a secret wall drop down to revel a sweet circle spot with a beast wall gun.

Or what if you finish the Easter egg by stepping on a teleporter and what's this? You're in a whole new map...Holy Shite!

They have a lot options here to expand upon the EE, even could have a map where you open doors by completing the EE step by step instead of spending money.

Lastly (sorry I said two things  ) I really hope that Treyarch can clean up the leaderboards. Now zombies will be on the Multiplayer Engine. Which includes Theater. Does this mean that zombies will now have access to theater???

I have talked to friends about Theater for zombies and we have always came down to the main problem being memory. Zombie games just last too long, the size of the files would be massive. I have a solution for this but it's not perfect.

What if the theater function randomly recorded 5-10 minutes every hour? (Unknown to the player when its recording). Then most zombie games would be have theater files about the size of multiplayer games. And high round runs would be manageable file sizes here.

I'm sure there are plenty in the zombie community that would gladly take the time to check out the current record holder for cheating. Now there's documentation, and assuming Treyarch is proactive in banning/resetting cheaters, the record holder would be much more likely legit. Thus extending game life.

The drawbacks? You dont get every second of your zombie killing greatness on film. But it would provide proof of high rounds and such and should be linked to youtube via elite. And considering 0 film proof now, I'd say it would be a big improvement.

CONCERN!!!!!: In BO, Theater mode was blamed for much of the "synching" issues which plagued multiplayer. These ranged from unplayable bullet lag to only slightly noticeable.

I say if Theater would bring these problems to zombies, then no theater please.

That's all I have to say here. Thanks for reading :D

Something I would really like to see is the opposite of this. Why do zombies always have to be Nazis, or Russians, or Japanese? (I guess there were American Zombies at Area 51, but those were generic scientist zombies, which doesn't count in my opinion.)

I mean, why would there be Nazi Zombies coming from the sea when it was the Americans who stormed the beach? Here's my idea. It might sound weird to citizens of the United States, but think about it: You're in the bunkers where the Nazis used to be, and there's US Army Zombies trying to capture Normandy once again. The heroes who died at Omaha Beach rise from their graves (as Zombies of course) and you fight them.

In my opinion, the Americans don't always have to be the good guys. Do something else for a change. Even if it's just one Zombie Map. Please Treyarch, make it happen.

Let's get a knew wonder weapon called the THUNDERWAFFE 17!!

It's a mix between the thunder gun and the wonder waffle dg-2. What it does is have the impact like the thunder gun but it's a spark wave and it only kills 17 zombies other ones have the effect of the thunder gun.

Upgraded double the wave length and doubles the kills to 34

It's a good idea but you would need a machine that could mix different guns. not only those two but every gun in the map.

Also you are saying that 17 of the zombies die by the wonder waffe effect and the rest by the thunder gun effect, now that isn't really much of an improvement counting that it uses 2 wonder weapons that kill all zombies when they are clumped together. its the same thing as a regular thunder gun or wonderwaffe except with a different animation for the energy shot.

What im thinking that it should do is that it should shoot like a regular thundergun with a bolt in the middle and when it hits a zombie it discharges lightning for a 15 foot radius, anything in the middle of 15-20 will ether turn the zombie in to a rcrawler or make it slower for a couple of seconds. you know how on every zombies map there are only two wonder weapons, well in the zombies mode for BO2 there should be 3 Ray gun, V-R11, and the new wonder weapon.

before you say "why should that crap gun be in the box it sucks" it is not crap if you know how to use it. And also you are not supposed to shoot zombies, only in groups and if you want them to go away are you supposed to shoot them but they have to be fairly far away.another was to use it to simply shoot your teammate with it and give them

"GOD MODE" or Z-Vision, this makes every zombie think that your teammate is a zombie for a few seconds.

When it is PAPD it is allot better, just waist one or two clips shooting your teammate and he will have Z-Vision and insta-kill zombies for minutes. Another way to use the PAPD version is to shoot a zombie that is in a cluster 3 times and they will explode, destroying everything around it. The final way to use the PAPD version is to shoot George Romero while he is in the water and he wont come back until the end of the round. [brains]

Hello Comrades. This is my first topic on these forums. I hope you enjoy.

Okay so, a lot of you out there loved Nazi Zombies on CoD:WaW and BO. And now we’re all very excited for BOII Zombies. Let’s make some changes though, like Upgradeable perks.

Like this: Juggernog:2500

Second time buying Jugg is 5000 gives slightly altered jugg and gives stopping power

Third and final time is 7000 and gives greater stopping power and greater jugg strength.

Speed Cola: 3750 gives speed cola and quicker weapon switch

Second time: 7000 gives faster Switch weapons plus slightly altered regular speed cola

Final time: 9250 gives all above altered to be slightly greater plus hacking is pretty much instantaneous.

Double Tap: 2500 gives double tap and 25% more ammo

Second time: 3750 gives slightly faster shooting and 50% more ammo

Final time: 5750 Triple Tap and bandolier. (Double Ammo)

Quick Revive: 1500

Second time: 2000 Faster revives and if you kill 5-10 zombies when downed you come up, Longer Bleed-out

Final time: 3250 Almost instant revive, faster crawling, and “Solo” Quick Revive effects

Pack Rat: 7500 Keeps all purchased perks (Up to Tier 2 Perks) even if downed*

* Perks will go away if you die, including Pack Rat

Cheapskate Cola: Everything is 10% Cheaper. Cost:1500

2nd Buy, 25% Cheaper. Cost: 2250

3rd Buy, Half Off Everything! Cost: 3500

||PaP Machine: 5000

Second time: 10000 More damage and bigger clip

Final: 13000 Huge clip, Tons o’ damage plus a second random attachment

I’m sure this has been mentioned before, but I hated how in Black Ops they had Cold War era weapons on the WaW maps. Hopefully if they bring back the WaW maps, they use the WaW weapons and update the graphics. Also, on Nacht der Untoten and Verruckt they have the Marines instead of the “Crew”, for the storylines sake. But they should keep Dempsey with the marines.

I was thinking there could be a type of “Marksman Round”. What I mean by this is: Every 15 rounds or so, birds could circle in the sky for a set amount of time and for every bird you shoot down you receive “X” amount of points. Like 250 or so. At the end of the round you receive a max ammo like in the hellhound round for all that ammo you shot off.

New Power-Up drops

Infinite Ammo: The only way to receive this power-up is to use 10,000 points and hack a max ammo. This will turn into an infinite ammo drop for about 15 seconds or so.

Incendiary Ammo (AKA “Hell-Fire” *Spoken by the announcer*) Your rounds light zombies on fire and do more damage than regular bullets, plus fire damage while they are burning.

Achievements/Trophies:

What a Deal! 5G/Bronze: Get a gun from the box that costs more if you were to have purchased it off the wall

Tightwad… 15G/Bronze: Buy all tiers of Cheapskate Cola and purchase the Pack-a-Punch

Welcome to the World of TOMORROW! 20G/Silver: Use the teleporter 10 times in a single game.

I made this post on the Call of Duty Forums before BO came out. It has been updated with new ideas and changed since then and will continue to be updated over time. Let me know your thoughts. I will be making another post about a new map and Major EE following the insane Zombies storyline.

Edit 1 - Quick Revive Longer Bleed-Out added

-The Russian

I think Treyarch should put in a game mode in which there are no waves, but there is always the maximum amount of zombies on the map. A REAL apochalypse. But before you start, you have a large amount of points to start it off with whatever you can afford with those points. (Perks, weapons, doors, pre-activated traps, etc.) To judge how well you do, it could, say, divide the number of kills you got by how long you were in the map before you died or something of that nature. I think this would be a HUGE challenge for all of those professional zombie players. Hope Treyarch considers this!

They have confirmed Theater for zombies, so you will get your wish! I don't think you're correct about it only recording 5-10 minutes out of every hour though, and here's why:

Your idea about the file size is logical, but wrong. File size isn't too much of a problem because the videos in theater mode aren't saved on console, but ONLINE (in the "cloud" if you will). Activision has plenty of space to store this data (just look at the Elite heat maps for MW3). One time, in Black Ops, my friends and I recorded a private match that lasted for at least an hour. We put it in our file share without a problem. The same will be for zombies.

Unfortunately, this means that recording offline games might not be possible. With multiplayer no one ever questioned it because you had to be online to play it, but there are a huge number of solo zombies players. I guess we'll have to wait and see.

How about parts of the map that change every few rounds for example, a door could close on a building and would stay closed for that round, or a rotating bridge would rotate randomly, sending you in a different direction, like the mud trap maze in Shangri-la.

Wunder weapon idea: the pressure gun. it fires a pressurised bubble and traps the zombies within it and slowly crushes them into a small lump. It could also be used as a barrier to revive someone, you just shoot it and any zombies that don't get trapped in the bubble within the first second or 2 will be blocked by the bubble, therefore giving you time to revive a team mate. Team mates will be able to walk through it but will take some damage. It will have a 3 round clip and 12 spare maybe more. When pack-a-punched it will have a 6 round clip with 24 spare, also when you shoot it the bubble closes in on itself then will expand rapidly letting out a shock-wave that will stun any zombies nearby and knock them to the floor giving you more time to escape or revive. If there is a crawler they wont be killed (unless trapped in the bubble) but they will get blown back further than regular zombies.

Let me know what you think :D

I agree with the rest of the things that you said but these ideas sound a little too over powered and might ruin the game.

Juggernog is already overpowered if you are really good at the game.

Doubletap is pretty good the way you said it but it could be a little bit more balanced.

With Quick revive i think that with the third time you buy it it should only give you quicker crawl.

Finally you should only be able to PAP twice because the third time might make the weapon really over powered.

Not a bad idea but it could be more balanced. [brains]

This is my Wonder Weapon idea.

Name: IGC-116 (Infinite Gravitational Crush-116)

Effect: the area you shoot a zombie will create a small area with infinite gravitational pull, in short a black hole, that will crush the zombie into itself.

Ammo: 2/18

Story: After the incident at area 51 the U.S. started study with gravity and 115 to see if they could send the zombies to Limbo so they would never see the zombies again.

During the tests when they used 115 as the power source the element then became a new element that was unstable and dissolved, this new element was element 116.

PAP: IGC-116 V-FREE 13.1.17.15.14

Effect: Creates a miniature black hole hat sucks in any zombies around it for 5 seconds.

Ammo: 4/36

This weapon, like the V-R11 and the wave gun are meant for the easter egg.

( I have been watching UFO Hunters from History Channel and believe it or not they actually talked about element 115 in one episode, in case you are interested in that stuff the episode was "Area 51". So this gave me an idea for this weapon but not just that episode there was another one called "Nazi UFOs". you can watch these episodes and more on youtube. )

If you want inspiration for wonder weapons try looking at shows that talk about myths, legends, aliens, and or supernatural beings.

They should add the ability to make the random box move to the given position were the random box can appear for about 1500 points. If someone has payed and is waiting for the weapon to appear then you cant move the box till he is finished. This will help to buy a weapon quickly without actually going to the box.

I disagree. Yea it's annoying going to run to the opposite side of the map but that's the box. With the new game they shouldn't change any of the basics of anything. The box is supposed to move around.

Combat Record and a ranking/prestige system.

If they bring that in I probably wont play anything but Zombies for 2 years

That would be fucking awesome. someone on this same subject posted some cool ideas for a ranking system and even titles i page 1 the third comment.

Also There should be a hacker machine. you pay around 4000 points and you get the hacker. but they should move the hacker to be down on the D-Pad instead of up. but to make it fair if you get downed you loose it. Unless you have quick revive.
