  1. Well, it looks exactly like it. It's probably just a little Easter Egg anyway, which won't have any significance on the story.
  2. It also seems to be on the roof of the building that holds Teleporter C in The Giant.
  3. Well, first of all, welcome to the forum! Be sure to ask around if you need help with anything. As for your question, no I'm afraid that this is just a glitch that has appeared in the game since the new patch. The game incorrectly assumes you are cheating, and as a result downs you, and takes all your points and guns. I'm sure there will be a fix to this glitch soon enough though.
  4. Huh, well I've never personally had this "dud" version. Either way, if it hasn't been patched by now, I have no doubt that Treyarch are working hard on it. It is disappointing though, how many bugs and glitches have been in this game so far.
  5. Hmm, yes that's true. Zombies on the higher rounds are much more difficult. It's a bit of an odd choice for Treyarch to make. But when it came to my friends at least, the most difficult part was setting up for a game. They would often fail around the Round 10 area. Perhaps Treyarch decided they would make the earlier rounds easier, so more casual players could be set up and prepared for the higher, more difficult rounds. Oh, is that what it is? Thanks for the tip. I was wondering about the number of Zombies it chained. But it does still chain even if there is a few seconds delay. But yeah, it still isn't really anywhere near as good as it was in the other games, though I still think it's fine, at least compared to the glitched Pack-A-Punched version anyway.
  6. Yeah, the regular Wunderwaffe works fine, except for the chain delay. The PAP'ed version really does need a buff though. Also, does anyone know if the Monkey Bombs have been patched either?
  7. Was that with the regular Wunderwaffe or the PAP'ed version? Because, the normal Wunderwaffe has always worked that way, at least for me anyway. I think the issue is when it is PAP'ed it starts to create crawlers, and doesn't have the chain effect.
  8. Yeah, those animations are really strange haha. They look like they were created on a whim.
  9. With the new patch, there looks to be a difference in the Zombies behaviour. They seem to be a lot less aggressive on the early rounds, and generally have a slower response time, similar to Black Ops 2 Zombies. It looks like that there may be a lot more walkers than usual per round too, and they have new walking animations. Also, as the rounds progress Zombies run much faster, similar to Zombies that are struck by George in Call of the Dead, or Zombies who chase after the Tank in Origins. So, I'm wondering if anyone else has noticed this too? I don't knowwhy Treyarch have done this, but if I had to guess it would be because of the difficulty casual players have been having in Zombies. I mean, I know a guy who couldn't make it to Round 10 on The Giant, but he's just finished playing a Round 23 game.
  10. Hello, and welcome back to the forum Dinasur!
  11. Yeah, the Free Perk Bottles spawn once you teleport, or link a teleporter to the mainframe. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ZPTXVUcjCDM As you can see, I got Deadshot in this video. I hadn't begun the Easter Egg at this point, so I suppose it was possible for me to have picked up Stamin-Up too.
  12. Yeah, I believe there's also a quote from Dempsey that mentions something similar. I can't remember the exact quote, but it went along the lines of "This place has changed since we were last here." Definitely strange.
  13. Yeah, the wall running is pretty useless. I can't even think of a reason as to why it was implemented into the map, besides from your reason. It could have very easily being a bridge across to the Pack-A- Punch, instead.
  14. Agreed. Very complicated, and complex maps like this will turn off new-comers to the mode.
  15. That's only true if you think the Gobblegum counts as "tons of new features". And that's also the main problem right there. It's pretty much the same exact Der Riese that we are paying for the third time. It isn't wrong to expect something more than the same exact thing we've had since 2009. Show me where anyone here has said that. If you think our only feedback is to complain, when we have complimented Shadows, but are disappointed we got the same map for the third time in a row, then I don't even know what to say.
  16. I like The Giant overall. I don't know, maybe it's because Der Riese is one of my favourite maps. But, like Chopper said, it basically is just the same map. I think Treyarch may have thought we wanted a complete remake with the same layout, which was probably the last thing anyone wanted. There's a few things there too that make no sense. Richtofen and Maxis continued to work in a facility that was half destroyed? Sure, Treyarch did remove the hand from the power switch, but the hanging man is still there. The Gobblegum machines don't really change up the map either, or the box and perks changing spawn each game. At the end of the day, it's still the same familiar layout, and you can get to Round 10 with having the entire map open, good guns, Pack-A-Punch, and a few perks. Like I said, I do like it. But, if Treyarch were ever to remake another map, I'd like for them to change it up a bit. Add some extra rooms, or a new mechanic exclusive to that map. Not anything big, just similar in size to the Origins Dig sites. Anyway, these were just my thoughts on the map. I'll still continue to play it, but I can't help but feel disappointed.
  17. Yeah, it's weird. They do seem to be merging with the O4 personality wise. Maybe it has something to do with the 115 in the area? I was playing as Tank on solo, and he acted similar to his Origins persona first, and commented on his thoughts being scrambled because of 115. Later in in the rounds though, he started to act more and more like the Original Dempsey. I'm thinking we'll hear more about this, once the DLC starts dropping.
  18. No, you also get points from the perks on The Giant. Pretty handy, in case you need those few hundred points to hit the box, or grab a perk.
  19. I'd still take this over any of the Zombie team created maps in BO2. Sure, the Easter Egg Quest was underwhelming, but it's still a really solid map in my opinion.
  20. Terrible news about Paris. I was there only a couple of months ago, and it's a very beautiful place. Such a tragedy.

  21. Yeah, I do too. And now with the SoE Easter Egg finally out of the way, I think the entire community can work together, towards completing The Giant Easter Egg.
  22. Feels like a bit of anti-climatic ending though, no?
  23. Yeah, the Wunderwaffe is very disappointing compared to how it worked in Black Ops 1. That Monkey issue almost got me down a couple of times too, but I get the feeling that, that was intentional of the developers.
