  1. the "ready up" system is a key part of why zombies matchmaking has been so fun for all these years. it allowed for players to conversate, wait for others with headsets, and eliminate those who didnt. it kept the public matchmaking alive for years after release, but now it has been removed and replaced with a 60 second counter that doesnt reset upon joining or leaving and there is no way to extend it. this is game ruining for a pulic match player like myself and leaves us with a few choices. -play solo, wich i like but gets boring after mastering the map. -friends sessions, wich is also fun but gets boring quickly. - play with no mics, ragers, squeakers, and morons. is there anyone else who feels this way? i love the game but this will keep me out of public lobbys forever. (thanks "impatient ready up kid") <---thanks treyarch for listening to this kid -_-
  2. one issue, the upgrade system is horrible. 50 grand to upgrade a gun? then its the same exact gun afterwards? ill pass.....
  3. yes, black ops III seems put alot of emphasis on the fusion of man and machine and the consequences that it may one day bring. it is the theory of technological singularity, basically where technology either becomes smarter than humans or even becomes its own life form, this story has been told many times, The matrix and The Terminator series are great examples.
  4. But if someone buys the game for the zombie content on the disk, those same people would buy the DLC anyway. DLC has been up in sales because all CoD titles now offer these extra coop maps and stories and not just MP maps like MW3 did. If they didn't put Zombie material on the disk and waited for DLC, they might hurt their sales. People like me wouldn't buy the game, like I didn't with Ghosts and AW. Then when the DLC comes out, it makes the decision of buying it that much harder since now I have to consider spending $60 for the game and then $15 or $50 for DLC. In AWs case, the zombie content does look fun, but there's not enough there for me to invest that much. Had their been zombie material on the disk and I spent the money then, the DLC would have been a no brainer. Also, Activision puts a lot of importance in their release sales. Hence why they push pre-orders and in Ghosts case, tried to juice up the numbers. So putting Zombies on the disk and advertising it is the best way to make sure those sales go back up to where BO2's were. i didnt like the dirty zombies paywall tactics of advanced warfare either, its why i never bought the game until i found it online for 30$. i got a dlc and will get the better of the next 2 dlcs. either way i will not be spending more than 60$ on this game. when did 60$ become not enough?
  5. easy way to solve this would be to seperate the zombies from the game but instead of requiring you to have both the disc and dlc, make it a stand alone dlc that would be playable without the actual game. they would have to add more zombies content than usual but they could jack the price up. i would gladly pay 100$ for this, but making me pay for multiplayer (wich i do not touch EVER) is not cool.
  6. 1- what if treyarch puts zombies behind a pay wall like exo zombies? meaning that zombies will not come free with the game but be a dlc. i personally believe there is a very small chance of this happening, but i wouldnt put it past activision. 2- what if there is a microtransaction system similar to the advanced supply drops from advanced warfare except instead of a gun or camo you get a raygun mk2 or perma-perk or somthing of the such? 3- is there a possibility that zombies could go "free to play" or the dreaded "pay to win"? (using real cash to purchase max ammos, extra lives etc) would you support any of this? 1- i would be very dissapointed, but yes. 2- only if the perks were purely cosmetic. 3- pre-order canceled,
  7. i dont like the idea of saving, if that was the case people would be able to go to round 300000000. it defeats the purpose of patience and endurance. custom games dont count because if they did it would divide the community up. there would be no reason for public matches to exist anymore as most players would be in private matches from day 1 the zombie shield is the best everything else i can agree with though
  8. a pre-order is a sign of good faith to the developer, its like saying "you already have my money even if this game blows" so its not free. that is why so many games relaese brokenunfinished these days <-----do not take this as a hostile statement, its just somthing to think about) that being said, bo3 or whatever it is will be my first pre-order in years, because the nazi zombies formula is difficult to screw up.
  9. i think bo3, but i imagine the campaign will jump back in forth through time. (ww2-2025) as for the trailer it will likely be a campaign overview with a 6-10 second zombies teaser like tranzit. all in all i have almost no doubt that bo3 will triumph over all other treyarch titles. i see what they were doing in black ops 2, they were experimenting, trying to be innovative with zombies. but some of the experiments failed so now they know exactly what to build
  10. It should be free, i dont like the idea of activision selling the same gun twice. I most definately dont want it to replace the mk1 as i find it more effective because it hurts all the zombies in a group forever, The mk2 stops penetrating in the late 60s.
  11. -Private match problems- =people glitching there way up to the top of the boards in privacy (this could be solved if treyarch actively searched for cheaters via playerchannel) =isolation of the online community, if private matches counted to leaderboards few players would bother with public matches, thus ruining the longevity and lifespan of the game. i play 95% public games and ill play with almost anyone who doesnt scream in my ear, that being said there are few players online like myself who are both fairly skilled and willing to gamble with a random team or just teach new comers. so if it were up to me, private matches would work exactly like black ops 2
  12. hah i started in black ops 2, believe it or not my first pack a punched gun was the smr. i remember the smiley face and thinking "wow this is great" then i tryed other guns as i learned the maps and realized the smr was a piece of crap.
  13. The cap thing is true, but being against objective based ranking is not. It's entirely possible to have objectives that accumulate. Like say at one point in time you're given a list of achievements for a map, but you need to complete all of them to get the next rank, and the next list of achievements. -It doesn't matter regardless when a player starts playing: People who get the game first have the longest time to rank up in any system good point, like titanfalls ranking system [wich i thought was great] it forced you to become proficient at every weapon and tactic in the game. that being said i still believe there should be unique rewards for certain things.w
  14. by far the most annoying death not involing lag/glitches is- tranzit- power station lava jump, when another player attempts to jump across with you killing both of you. with glitch/lag has got to be the 'sui-slide' on die rise, i have been killed by that thing in the 80s traveling to the box to get my sliq back so many times.
  15. Some interesting thoughts here. To begin with, the definition of wonder is that it causes amazement, or awe, or leads you astonished. By that definition, all of the WWs listed apart from the scavenger and blunder (unpapped) cause wonder. A gun that freezes, blows them away, shrinks them, makes them explode, disintegrates them, makes them run into the water.....they all fit into causing wonder. The scav is basically a very powerful explosive, not too exciting and the blunder is just a shotgun unpapped. However, I agree about them being fun to use and all the wonder weapons are fun to use except the Howl in my opinion. But I have to disagree with what you say about the Ice Staff and the Sliquid. They can be used as you say, but it's only newbs, glitchers and twats who use them as you describe. For a start, if you try and camp in one spot with the ice staff, you won't beat round 50 I reckon. I'm going to post some videos here showing how much fun these weapons are, and why they aren't just about camping. Origins ice staff - there are so many ways to die doing this, not leaving camping early enough, or getting trapped on the instant spawners. Sliquifier - this isn't really sitting in a corner just shooting away. Those 2 videos show the only things I liked about Black Ops 2. The weapons could be abused in certain situations, but they were also the most fun things I found in BO2. i agree, the sliquifier can be abused, but only if you choose to do so. the acid gat makes you invincible aslong as you got everthing rxcept deadshot haha. but i guess potential for abuse is somthing that comes with wws, otherwise we would end up with regular guns that do infinite damage as for the ice staff, im not sure how long a storm will kill in 1 hit {only been to 67} but theres a circle you can run literally right in front of the mp40 near jug its perfect for rushing through early rounds, but the zombies spawn all around you so you might want to bring the lightning/fire staff
  16. i didnt play much world at war, but ill give you this. like- -motd- votrolic withering! dont have to rely on my crappy team to revive me. -die rise- tough to learn, but fun to play -origins- tough to learn, best time killer ever! -tranzit- massive, once technique is aquired it can be played casually -cotd- seems different every time -kino der toten- open space, traps, can be played casually -moon-low gravity makes it unpredictable dislike- -5ive- close quarters with the winters howl -shangri la- not fun to set up on, no places to run -buried- far too easy, seems like it was designed for children -13
  17. there has to be a cap on xp, plus a a sceond tier/prestige. heres why. -anyone can do the thing on the first list, that means anyone can rank up even if they arent any good. -the first to start playing would always be a higher rank than someone who started say a month after as they would have a huge lead i say it should work like this- -max rank100 the criteria from your first list will earn xp until 50, after that you will only earn xp from high rounds or earn a lump sum of xp for getting 3000 kills. " There is a price to pay for accomplishment"
  18. i say remake all the maps that need updated( or just a redemption in tranzits case). -tranzit -die rise -shi no numa -verukkt -5ive
  19. I've stated this before, but i think this is the most logical way of implementing it. Although it wasn't necessarily super popular here, Extinction seemed to be relatively popular in ghosts, and the ranking/prestige system with the teeth or whatever seemed to work really well in it. I think we could have a similar thing in zombies and have it really be successful honestly, i dont want your rank/challenges to give you any gameplay benefits. maybe just customization objects or bragging rights? i dont know but i feel like a ghosts ranking system would attract alot of little kids just as it did in extinction.
  20. this is almost exactly what i was thinking, you explained it much better though.
  21. -I'm totally for the OPTION to add PAP and perks to maps that didn't have them before. I'd also like to see some greif and turned. -Actually making the map bigger is NOT something they're going to do. -They are NOT programing a new bus route for tranzit. -If you added flopper to die rise it would be HELLA OP. Instead, why not add wonderfizz to a group of maps that would distribute perks like EC and staminup as long as the perk wasn't game-breaking. -No, the mauser is meant for origins and it's one of the things that makes it unique! - making the map bigger might be a bit optimistic hah - not just a new bus route, a whole new map like tranzit 2.0. tranzit deserves a redemption as it was pretty ambitious just poorly executed. - die rise is the only map that would be broken by flopper, but i like the wunderfizz idea -the 1911 should be obtainable somehow, easter eggs? im not saying take out the mauser, i just miss my 1911s
  22. the blundergat is useless after 30 or so without upgrades, [even the sweeper takes 2 direct headshots at 50] atleast the wintershowl can slow them down, giving me time to whip out my raygun haha
  23. remaster the maps that need to be. - add pap to shi no numa/verukkt - add more areas to kino - new bus route for tranzit - add flopper to everthing - add m1911 to origins those are just examples, but i definately dont want the same exact maps with better graphics
  24. No pap 1 thundergun- saves you 2 sliquifier-infinite power till 100 3 jgb-whatever-lots of ammo 4 wave gun- instant kill/ saves you 5 paralyzer-infinite ammo/ slows zombies 6 wunderwaffe dg2-only 10 zombies per shot 7 scavenger-losses effectivness in mid 50s 8 winters howl- useless 9 blundergat- ist just a shotgun withot upgrades 10 jetgun- slow reload/feels like a chore and not fun. with pap my list would be almost the same but the blundergat would be #1
  25. i got an idea, its equipment rather than main weapon though. im not sure what to call it but i picture a blocky suitcase looking thing that maybe resembles the gersch device. basically you throw it on the ground and it transforms into a laser turret [like the mk2]. when it unfolds it will start spinning in circles killing everything in the room/area, this weapon does player damage also so you need to lay prone to avoid it.
