  1. I don't believe people just want things to be "free", I feel like people are just tired of being screwed out of a good thing. When you pay full price for a game, you expect 100% of the product, no questions asked. However, it IS 2016 and this is just flat out no longer the case with video games. I think people want their products to be free from the chains of retail. I mean, that's why we bought the console and the game so that we wouldn't waste quarters at the arcade. However, as games evolved to become more complex and graphically inclined, the price to consistently put out a new game every year became just as inclined and complex. This creates a biome of hunger. Hunger for profit. This hunger creates an atmosphere of greed and effects the player-base with decisions like "new guns are NOT immediately available but if you are lucky and/or spend money you MAY get what you want". This concept is closest to the idea of gambling and allows me to set up my argument that video games are addictive and can become a bad addiction or a bad habit. South Park covered how indie game companies prey on weak minded, loose walleted individuals who shell out all their earnings for a chance at greatness but this individual makes up less than 5% of the addicts. Yet they are the targets for abuse in this freemium world. We need to remember who is the victim. Not the player who wants free shit but the people with addictive personalities who can't help themselves when you say, "Pay 100% and you have a CHANCE to win!" The only reason we should all not give a fuck is because America allows people to blow their money on fuckery without question. America's business is business and if a company isn't making more each year than they are doing something wrong. From a business perspective, Activision is going to outlive us just like it outlived Atari.
  2. Well, I like what one user said on some website.. "why don't we make everything unlockable by in-game challenges?" Good question! Because we already spent money on everything so there MUST be something more for us to spend our monies on! Class Warfare becomes apparent when weapons are involved and when putting actual payment becomes involved. Let's say you have a higher chance of getting good weapons with CoD Points than without, that is a prime example of pay to win Class Warfare. Now, let's also say that you have the same probability as cryptokey users. This would imply that CoD Points are something useless compared to their priceless counterpart and should have no place in-game, period. The idea that CoD Points can be justified with Youtubers' paychecks and addictive personalities only helps promote the poor business that is Activision. The best thing we, as a community, can do is document it all. Document everything they say, everything they do, and every patch, and every tweet. Just document it. So that we can all remember who was truly evil, Activision. I suppose it shouldn't be a boycott but a discovery process in a court case. We gather up all our evidence and precedence so that we can strike right at the jugular when the time comes. Plus, it would indefinitely help whoever is being sued by Activision. You can use the argument that since the CoD Points are just as useless, if not more useless, than their free counterparts then the idea of scratching the surface to reveal the odds becomes less worrisome. So,with that being said, there's something fishy about CoD Points in the code that maybe they don't want touched.. Or discovered. Really, CoD is becoming one great big slot machine of weapons, maps, attachments, skins, and taunts. I never really liked gambling either, so should I keep up this addiction called My Hobby of Video Games? Maybe. Maybe we all should lessen the glorification of video games because although they are full of imagination and creativity, just like a drug, some can suck the life and money out of you.
  3. Let's be realistic with our reasons. This is just another form of class warfare. Which is also the impending title following BO3. It's a way of saying, if you're rich you deserve the finer things. If you're poor, you're fucked. No matter how badly some of us want microtransactions to stop, there's an arch of evil that not only extends to our gaming hobbys but also extends all the way to our policitical sphere's of fuckery and our system of law. SO, to sum up this equation... The problem starts at its core. Money. It runs our systems and talks like a chatterbox. To encourage real and formidable change upon a market that is embracing this concept, we must bring change to not only the market but the political sphere and systemic change before seeing real progress toward that main goal. Remember your history, though. America's business is business, so all these shadey and fowl attributes we all seem to be noticing is a kind of archetype in the states. It's true that if you WERE to incite a boycott, this "CoDPoint" delima would have to be "just a whiff of grapeshot."
  4. @NaBrZHunter This completely makes sense to me because I have done research completely unrelated to zombies about this existing in real life. I think I remember the water being the different waves of light and energy that we can perceive. One being the very small window of visible light that humans can decode and others being much faster or shorter waves that we cannot decode. Meaning they all overlap each other without ever physically touching. Much like music and harmonies.
  5. @PINNAZ I wanted to point out that the end of the actual Origins map is a teleporter. It's hard to say but it seems to me that... This idea of "ripping holes" started from BO2. Meaning, the BO3 universe (Multiple Earth Theory) officially began under Maxis' and Richtofen's watch. If we were to assume that if there is more than one planet Earth than there is more than one possibility. Meaning, the Tranzit crew could've possibly done it all. Created the hole in the universe where Maxis could be with Samantha AND gave control to Richtofen AND perished. Flash forward to Origins and the new Earth is born. A good Richtofen emerges. Well.. Somewhat good, for now. My primary point is that there's a pattern to all of this. A variable that is unchanged. It could be that the pattern is that of Origins. Where our heroes must harness the elements in order to rip a hole through the universe in order to connect with a separate Earth or to destroy the one they stand on. If we consider how Richtofen appeared in that teleporter.. Because these teleporters aren't receivers are they? last I recall they were only able to send patients to the main frame or to another place of origin. There are some great anomalies that I don't think the writers considered. For example, PINNAZ points out that The Giant is a completely separate universe which could make sense if only Dempsey didn't look exactly like WaW Dempsey. I just have a hunch that their intentions were to design his model specifically to those specifications to make everyone think this way. However, there is still a huge wall here. Everything else. If this were to be the supposed, "original timeline" we would be using original timeline weapons. However, this is the Multiple Earth Theory we're discussing. So, if it's possible to have a Tranzit crew fulfill both paths and still perish then it could be possible for Dempsey to die in Der Eisendrache but still be alive and on the moon. Same goes for the moon, lol. It may be destroyed now but it could also be the wrong moon, so to speak. Looking over PINNAZ's post reveals the scraps from SoE detailing mistakes being made in false planets. It could be that these scraps are from a hero or a villian. For me, I jokingly think it's Shadow Man's. 'Cause apparently, Cthulu has been swallowing planets since the old days when armor was made of steel not kevlar. Maybe this is the cycle we are becoming newly aware of. "Cycle of Consumption"? It makes sense since all the humans in this cycle also are trapped in this cycle of consumption. Humans have to consume 115 or the super human potions that give them the strength and agility to continue the fight against the consumption of their planet. Let's also try to consider whether or not these planets exist on the same plane as each other. When we look into the sky on SoE there are no signs of another planet flying around or near us. So is it possible to say that we might be introduced to a new scientific discovery surrounding the concept of vibrations and universal planes? Yes. However, at this point it's also possible to say "Hey, this story is all just hogwash anyways. It's a child's imagination, fuck you." In response, I say "-nerdy story comments- -nerdy story points- AND -nerdy character quotes-." Science is infinite. Science is none. Science is all. Science is life.
  6. @Tac I enjoy doing things alone because I can also create my own fantasies from my own theories. I enjoy coming here with legitimate theories about things that involve the story and trying to understand bullshit but as I try to sift through the shit I find myself getting into other people's shit. Sooner or later, it just starts to smell bad and I just can't take it. That's pretty much how the T-Virus was created. By sifting through bullshit and finding more bullshit but realizing that by possibly nursing the shit, you can grow a Bono. Whether you're growing a Bono or trying to understand the story, for me, what I'm personally trying to get from this entire experience, is the expansion of knowledge by understanding others and by doing this creating inside myself a sense of good. As for the story and what it means to me... Well, I see this whole story as a learning experience for myself. I would love to write a Sci-Fi zombie comedy about impossibility but I have no leg to stand on. However, thanks to the CoD Piece Machine I have an idea of what people want in a Sci-Fi zombie comedy. This whole time growing up with Evil Dead and being obsessed about the Zombies story, for me, was a learning experience in how to write a good story. That's what I really am going to take away from ALL of this. Maybe I should retire the forum game and go be crazy in a corner. Maybe... Or maybe I can be this forum's "9/11". Pull me out whenever it's convenient! Truly, though, I love it here because the fans are what made the story and what continue to make the story. I love hearing your obsessions because your obsession is also my obsession. However, I'm the type who wants to create a new obsession. Soury, Tac. I love you, senpai.
  7. @Tac I try so very hard to follow the story on my own terms because if I try to follow everyone elses version of the story, I may get confused. I stick to what some user said... "We can only verify that which we have no doubt in. If any doubt exists, it is no longer fact." This is why I try to use direct quotes and pictures, symbols, and even direct comments from those who write, direct, whatever, and Jason "Blunderbuss" Blundell said that this is the same universe. Which is what I've been rolling with ever since. Let's also try to remember the dramatic irony, that the origins four have no idea that Tranzit Four did something on one of the planets that have aided either good or evil. The way that the writers could write themselves out of this plot hole is by having this Multiple Earth Theory, allowing both scenarios to play out without ever wondering what could've been. You basically get to have your cake and eat it too. This could mean a lot to the story which is why all bets are off right now until we either A: see the two universes/planets collide or B: destroy the universe/planets containing the evil and use the saved planets' power to resolve the whole curse. These two options are simply writing options for story line not factual possibilities in this fictional story. Although, we all hope for worlds to collide and for shit to hit the ceiling fan. The writing also almost always will be contained within quotes, the structures of devices or machines or Areas of Interest, the weapons, the various secrets throughout the map. So, basically any writing technique that one could think of to solve the many plot holes has to be condensed into a single or multiple maps each taking up one full DLC slot and we only have four DLCs in a season. Not including any bonus material they may or may not create. So, with all this in mind, the writing process for a zombies story becomes the most articulate and intricate job, requiring the utmost attention to detail and attention to writing. Look at Shadows of Evil alone, those who had to write quotes and design the map had to research the timeline that they were replicating and had to use their smarts to recreate an old slang for characters like Jack and Campbell. It makes me feel sorry for these designers, I hope they get paid proper for their time and effort. In short, with all things considered, the storyline is turning out much better than anticipated. With all the different paths we could've taken, this is the most sci-fi adventurous one for our heroes to undertake. The tying of loose ends to resolve an undesired curse, the killing of the past to prevent an uncertain future, and the washing of the hands of evil to cleanse the inner soul all but three times for purity. It makes me want to create my own world and destroy it and restore it and destroy it again... And I will.
  8. I still don't own Der Eisendrache yet but I can still lay out a theory about Samantha and this "Something Else" that Richtofen describes. Since I don't know shit for shat in relation to Der Eisendrache, I'm using what I know from Der Giant and Shadows. It seems to me that by capturing the Shadow Man, we (being the origins characters) have taken a gigantic step in the correct direction. Basically, Shadow Man isn't a Keeper but he is related to this ever growing evil that is comsistent with each map. I did see some minor things from Der Eisendrache such as the paintings for some bow. In one of the paintings, we see this same Kraken Creature that we say in SoE in the painting. Obviously, Shadows of Evil introduced us to some type of "cycle".. Possibly a "Cycle of Consumption". Meaning, the Shadow Man travels far and wide to provide this "Kraken Creature" a planet to consume or to simply bond with and grow stronger from. This Evil could play on insanity much like that of Amnesia's main concept. However, much like in Evil Dead when dealing with highly evil forces, sanity begins to drain fast from victims. So it's possible that during BO1 we were learning about element 115, the distorted properties that distort reality. The we learn in BO2 that there might be a way to fix it but it requires tearing hole into something. This hole leads us to this Kraken Creature's manifestation and the manifestation of Shadow Man who is the messenger of the Kraken Creature. Basically, Samantha could've never had control but was manipulated the entire time by some unseen, unhear of, dark, and evil force that drains the sanity of its victims and all-the-while also drains the life from its victim. The other hand is that there is still a Samantha because of the Multiple Earth Theory. Meaning, if there are five earths than there are five samanthas. However, I believe that theory is meant for more tacky universes and if it comes to be that the story is going to involve seven different Samanthas then so be it. i just have one request, let's have four v four Samanathas in her bedroom. Whoever survives the longest without jumping out the window, wins.
  9. One question you must ask yourself when considering a T-Virus thought is to confirm whether or not what you are thinking about matters. Does it really matter where or which worm goes in what holding area? Does it really matter if the Servant can be upgraded? Does it really matter if what I say is true or false? The T-Virus doesn't think so. The T-Virus believes you are all correct. There's more in every map prior to SoE. Including the WaW maps. Trust me, go on Nacht WaW edition and go outside the map in order to discover a wall-buy for the trench gun... You might be surprised when you find nothing but just wait for that hotfix... It's coming.
  10. Well, this is the direct problem to having a different company make the port for old gen. Everything is different and completely fucked. Leaving me to believe that both consoles have things to keep them separate. I believe this because of the lack of campaign, increase in achievements, and a large change in how things look. To me, the differences in the consoles will rely heavily on the design of the map and possibly the amount of eggs that could be stuffed in. So, considering that and the idea that this map must make an appearance on both generations leaves me to conclude that the only reason there is no more left or not enough in SoE is because of the limitations of previous consoles. Meaning they couldn't fit the Servant upgrade or much of anything else so that both consoles would feel equal in what the game gave to the audience as well as making the player feel as if there aren't any sides being taken. Obviously, they chose to side with next gen but don't tell old gen that... In short, the Servant upgrade might be hotfixed by the end of the season for Next Gen only OR it will be hotfixed across the board OR we can be patient and wait for the next DLC which is exclusive to next gen, right? I hope because I didn't play the entirety of Exo-Zombies waiting for maps to concede quality for old gen performance. This is either the virus talking or the hope that slowly dies inside of my soul.
  11. Here's where the T-Virus really shines inside of me. Remember how the Mega Gumball Randomizer works? You somehow put it on a plate THROUGH a window. With this simple information we can conclude that maybe, possibly, there are other windows that are not static. In the sense that we can interact with the windows granted that we have something that fits the piece. I question this because, deep down in my soul, I always felt suspicion regarding the Coffee Shop 'room', if I can even call it a room. More like a table and a wall. Even still, there are plenty of places where you would think you could interact through the windows. Consider it while investigating and activating certain cues, such as the boat bells, the white gumball itself could be taken somewhere else. Or there is something more that we can do to the ilk of the mystery gumball. The map just feels too empty to look so full... There must be more involving the "side lines" as I'll call it. The areas of the map that aren't the vocal point of the area or aren't exactly apart of where you usually would search. For example, "Detour 2 Diner" could be a reference to Tranzit's infamous detour from Diner to Town but there could also be more to the Diner in Footlight than we anticipate. The design of the diner is small and petite, yet there are plates set, a refrigerator open and contained inside the refrigerator are some bottles of unfamiliarity. The poster of our Gumball machine is found along with flashing lights and a cooking area in the back that beckons to be investigated. Keep in mind, our previous games and what might be referenced could also be pointed at Exo-Zombies. A lot of us don't like Sledgies take on Zombies but I love Bruce Campbell. Although the diner might not show anything related to any other universe besides the Treyarch universe, it's still something I'm personally curious about.
  12. Alright. One of the Super Nurds have relayed information regarding the upgrade cues we receive for the Servant. He stated that the cue known as "Upgrade_ready_0" has never been heard and if it has, it was by mistake. I'm here to say that, after reviewing what the quote is and what it sounds like, I have heard it in a legitimate playthrough. However, I heard it while wielding a sword. Now, I haven't been involved, recently, in discovering new cues and such as I have a life that needs to be lived. Yet, I still have a strong interest in this world of imagination so I'm sticking by until my mind cannot last in this biome. So, this audio cue is related to the servant but only occurs with a sword. It's as if, in order to upgrade the servant, we need to have completed most of everything else. At least when considering the swords in their normal state. The process to upgrade the swords is another quest all their own. The one thing that puts it all together is the audio cues we receive. The question that remains is: "Do we need to reach a point in our journey before attempting an upgrade?" I ask this because if according to Super Nurd, Downtown Fuck, we need these cues to progress than this means we need certain quests to be completed prior to engaging a further quest. Well'p I'm going to head back to hentai and thinking about 'Making a Murderer'. Good luck with this stuff.
  13. We should get some Vault Hunters to raid the code to see if there is a string about the noir mode. Maybe they haven't noticed this in the code yet. Once they do notice it, there may be more parts to it and if not than don't worry have a glass of reality and cure yourself of the infection.
  14. It's official, Mr. Numbers! According to some PC Super Nurds, the way the code is designed for the Upgrading of the weapon makes it impossible! At least we can stop trying officially now. I heard people stopping just because they hadn't found anything but now we've found something that legitimately says, "Fuck you, you can't continue." As for the J, you just need to remember that the creators of this game look up to me and my Newspaper stand. Seen that news stand outside the Burlesque? That's MY news stand and they made it clear that I own that stand. I don't know, I've never seen any letters in the Ritual sites. If there were symbols found than maybe that would make sense but a "J" with a mirrored "J"? What a queer occurrence.
  15. Of course, happy gaming! The game is splendid to say the least and is a great start to a possibly enlightening season! Just because one weapon is non-upgradable doesn't mean the whole map is fucked. Look at Die Rise, the one buildable was unable to be upgraded. Stupid. But the weapon was reasonably strong and given the right user could extend various amounts of rounds. Same for the Servant. Run Shadows of Evil with the Reborn Sword, Civil Protector, Servant, and Quick Revive and you will never die. I made it to 41 the other day just by running aimlessly and activating the Civil Protector and by legitimately using and enjoying the Reborn Sword. Honestly, this map is the most OP map considering the tools they give you to survive are completely on your side 100% of the time. Except the Reborn Sword in online play when you run through a portal. That's when you're fucked. Anyways, it's all going to be okay, Mr. Numbers! We will have our cake and eat it too. We will also have our weapon and use it too. Maybe during an eclipse, Treyarch will add in a patch that gives everyone upgraded handjobs- I mean, the servant. They will give everyone the upgraded servant.
  16. You're more educated than me. In the general lore of zombies. Plus, you're a Panzer Soldat and I'm a Gas Zombie. I stand no chance against your steel armor and angry face of judgement. I still love you, though. Because the survivors find you difficult and sometimes you bash them so hard you cause them to glitch through the map. As a Gas Zombie, I wasn't even in BO2. I made a small appearance in Die Rise but that wasn't even me. It was my Ninja Brother. I just want to understand without being misunderstood! I'm trying to add logic but nothing is happening in my brain. That's why I reviewed some old topics in Treyarch, Black Ops. I want to learn and be educated like you, Senpai. I wanna know all about Ascension because I never got to understand Ascension! I also wanna know why Shangri La is in the Himalayas. Oh! Senpai @Tac has given me closure! Yes... Yes... It all comes together now. It isn't the Hallow Earth theory it is the reason we have a Hallow Earth theory. Meaning, Shangri La isn't the theory it is the structure that sets up the theory. No? I understand it now. Agartha is the Shangri La I've been trying to get to. Actual Shangri La is the gateway to Agartha. Origins just became a Giant metaphor in my mind. I want to look deeper into a quim- I mean, this concept...
  17. To my lack-of-knowledge, there is only one of each quote played. I got the calm and gentle quote upon grabbing the Servant and then the thing started yelling "Zarnash!" at me. To be Frank Reynolds, though, I couldn't quite hear the second quote clearly. A lot of shit was happening on-screen, so my eyes were more focused than my ears.
  18. My point was the Hallow Earth theory. A whole world inside our own. Ever seen that one movie, Journey to the Center of the Earth, I think it was. I don't remember it vividly but the world that our adventurers encountered was not of their own. Besides, Treyarch Zombies is a self-aware concept. Meaning, before Origins and BO2, our featured protagonists were completely conscious of how ridiculous the situations were AND were aware of a player and possible controller. The main brainwave I'm developing is the fact that this self-consciousness and it's prevalence shows that throughout our story, our protagonists were at the very least aware of an overall conspiracy. For example, Treyarch plasters themselves all over the game. As if the conspiracy is them. Treyarch is the theoretical Samantha controlling our story and guiding us. How does this connect to Shangri La? Well, it doesn't. I kind of lost my train of thought as I swerved into the self-awareness within Shangri La's dialogue. Senpai, don't be mean to me because I'm ignorant.. Feel sympathy, for my ignorance may be bliss but it is a curse... I must place my hand upon your stone, Senpai... Maybe we can use our scientific minds to determine, based on heat and humidity... A waterfall and a mountain range, as well as a river, we can try to discover Shangri La! There are so many Senpais showing up to this discussion... I become intimidated.
  19. But that's not enough for me, Senpai! Coordinates from a modified wunderwaffe made to shrink my enemies and kick them? All of this just sounds like good ol fashioned grabbing for straws. Maybe, it's not ON Earth but IN Earth. I mean, technically Shangri La's map design tried to show you complex tunneling while retaining zombie-esque familiarities. Shangri La, the place, is well known for that conspiracy theory. Maybe it is beneath the Himalayas! Maybe Treyarch need to send me an invite to one of their Undead Dinners. Maybe I'm the reincarnation of a Fragtrap. Maybe Trayarch made me crazy. You'll never know.
  20. Do they really mention Himalayas that much? So much that I'm now a fool with my pants on the ground? If my pants reach the floor, then you must know not to come to my door! Soury.
  21. Well, no... I'm sorry that I have no hard evidence other than Dempsey mentioning Brazil. It just made me think of Shangri La because no other map could possibly be there. I used the process of elimination multiplied by jumping the gun in order to conclude that Shangri La equals Brazil. I think my whole response belongs in the T-Virus topic.
  22. I played earlier today and used the Nar-Ullaqua variant and it gave me the starting quote when I picked it up and a continuance quote the first shot. It's translation is IDGUN-Consume. This must mean that Nar-Ullaqua, one servant variant, only requires being built and being used. How queer!
  23. When I look for the cocoons, I always assume that the Shadow Man doesn't effect the outcome. So until evidence comes along to support the fact that the shadow man may have to be killed, I'll be searching without a dead shadow in a ball.
  24. @mmm chocolate The cocoon locations would more than likely be available in the CoDZ reddit. However, I have taken some liberties... Locations in code: http://pastebin.com/raw/1maJxwG5 Positions on map: http://i.imgur.com/IvolJyc.png -ex-nay on the map, it's not accurate. However, I'll leave the link for possible use in the near future. Album containing pictures of exact/various cocoon spawn locations: http://imgur.com/a/3eF1b
  25. Just to be completely Frank Reynolds, I don't believe in the apothican language at all. I mean sure Treyarch gave us a nice mini spread sheet of some words to look into but that's fucked. If I am laying my finger on the right nerve, here, I feel that the reason we don't have a full anything from Treyarch is because this may be the set-up for the season. As in, the apothican language may be seen again. Hopefully not, but those ritual circles in the Trailer for Der Eisendrache tingle my sexual organs in a bondage type of way. And I'm not into bondage.
