  1. They didn't end the story with the O4 under a bright light, they ended the story with the last line of the "chapter" with "my dad has a plan" that without a shadow of doubt is how the "origins" chapter was ended. Read anybook and the last paragraph/page/line always ends the chapter/book/story. The fact the O4 finished by looking into a light was only part of the ending - it was by no means the ending.
  2. I can't believe I had never awoken the gazebo, after all this time. Until last night that is.

It's not that hard Mocking, you can do it fairly easily.

How I did it was I simply let the big guy out of his cage, this presented another bottle of booze in his cage. I then took him up jug alley and let him run at the weapons barricade. I then opened up the saloon, got another bottle of booze and took him into the weapons arsenal and let him run at jug, then the alleyway barricade (from the gullotine) - then the mansion from the courthouse. Then the church from as far back as possible.

I then put all the chalk weapons on each location (apart from the courthouse, as I didn't open this) and it gave nearly 8K points. Grab a gun, open the mansion and then get to pac a punch. I can't believe how easy it was and that I had never ever done it.

OH, I also let him run at the barricade next to the weapons, where you get the table parts - I did that after jug alley - from as far back as possible.

i'm surprised you were able to get it this way, that last chalk weapon gives you 2k. you got a lucky free booze in the cell, but the others all cost you 1k and for you to still have 5k after the mansion without that last gun means you must have been perfect with the barriers and the big guy. well done. what gun did you use in the mansion? i used the remington and reloaded once i got behind the bookcase

  3. My bad, thanks @Slade - that's part of my point above fooked lol @Nightmare Voyager - I actually do like the story, I wasn't at any stage saying I didn't like the story.
  4. Tell me this, if the cutscene in Origins is from the WaW era, where did the camera come from that Samantha knocks over? She wouldn't have one so this must be closer to our timeline than you think. The simple fact of the matter is this and it's a simple fact. We have no answers and we can only speculate. Until Treyarch say otherwise, the story continues - it has not had closure, no matter what you read into it, it doesn't. Now take this from a normal story being told, the O4 scorch the earth with the rockets. At the end of Origins we hear Samantha say "my dad has a plan". What does this mean in a story mode (forget about zombies, I ain't talking zombies here, I'm talking normal stories). Each chapter leads into the next chapter, it gives you a cliffhanger that makes you want to read the next chapter, or watch the next scene in a movie/play. Some people will not like what they see and stop reading / listening / watching after a certain chapter or scene. Which is fine, it's their choice, however, a story still needs to be told and it will continue. The simple fact is this, the story has not ended - you do not end a story with say "my dad has a plan" what you do is you end a chapter by saying this, which makes you want to get the next book, watch the next movie etc. Treyarch are smart, they know they lost a lot of folk from WaW and BO in BOII, they know they need to start to pull things together and they will. They will have been reading what has been said for the past year and a bit and taken the feedback on-board. It will all be bullet pointed on several whiteboards within the zombie teams offices at Treyarch. They know what the community are thinking, they know what the general consensus within the community is. Now, what I perceive will happen in the next game release on current gen consoles and PC is reworked maps for WaW, BO, BOII and will be released with the game on a special zombies disc or they will release these maps alongside the 1st DLC that is released. I also think that instead of having 1 year cycle of support and updates, that we will see a period of 2 years of support and updates and that DLC will be focused on the 1st year for the season pass but we may start to see special DLC releases within the 2nd year. So what do I see happening with the story? I have no idea, but I'm just as eager to find out about it as the rest of you but rest assured it has not ended "yet".
  5. I can honestly say, that after the problems between staff at IW and Activision, that IW have been hit badly - the same core team of developers have pretty much moved onto Respawn. This in my view has drastically reduced the creativity at IW and Activision know it and that's why the merge of Neversoft and IW happened. I could actually see IW being dropped by Activision if the next installment from them is poorly received. In fact if Sledgehammers is poorly received it will only leave the Treyarch title before the next IW installement. I see the Treyarch installment as being the defining moment for the Franchise - if CoD goes, I could potentially see all the studios suffer and I could see Treyacrh creating a zombies based game but for another publisher - it's a winner and they know it and so does Activision.
  6. They will get my money by default, I will only by CoD for zombies, if that gives me the pile of **** that goes with it, then so be it. I detest multiplayer, I haven't played Titanfall for that reason and I can also say that the multiplayer aspect of Destiny put me off it a little - maybe it's an age thing.
  7. I dislike Ghosts that much that I have played multiplayer once and extinction twice and last no more than 30 minutes on them, which is suprising consider I have bought every CoD title for years. Never actually bought this one though, the boy bought it on his console, got a telling off and MS refunded it Anyway, I see the end is nigh for Extinction, I think it was a one off to test it "poorly" received and has been consigned to the cutting floor.
  8. If I'm honest, I see the death of CoD (not zombies) but multiplayer - unless they can bring something "new" to the table with the current systems (not next gen anymore) - I think Treyarch will go all out on the next installment.
  9. It's the final chapter of extinction - clearly said - it's not returning based on that
  10. OK, so I have just watched the DLC video from IW regarding the 4 multiplayer maps and the new extinction map. I'm sorry to say folk's - Extinction was a one game / on season trial and it won't be returning - what is said at the end is telling. It ain't going to return and it's not an extension of Zombies - sorry to say folk's but it ain't.
  11. Interesting concept Nai, well done - looking forward to the remainder. I just think that a second bus route should exist that goes past Nuketown - they have implied it, they have shown us the clues, they need to implement it. I just think it was removed previously because of how huge the map was and was also part of the reason why Tranzit was crashing. Anyway, so far so good - keep it up.
  12. I second the unofficial rule of backing out of a lobby if split screen players exist. Just causes problems and gauranteed one of them will back out if they don't get a shovel, down or something similar early on.
  13. Welcome back Covert, we've not met/spoken yet but your return has been spoken off for a while

  24. It began long ago on the battle fields of the great war. My name is Samantha, I'm going to tell you really how all this began. Having been away for a week, I have played local single player as has my boy. I have listened to the cut scene several times and I've got to be honest and say, that "I'm going to tell you really how all this began" is a very important factor in the story. This is going back and telling us is plain sight without any need to theorise on it, that this is how it all began. It doesn't explain everything though but gives the explanation of the "Origins" name.

It's the only thing that makes sense, otherwise the whole story-line is hashed. There are sources saying it comes from an alternate world. There are none that specifically state that the events of origins are what happened in the original time-line.

      DeathBringerZen

Who or what are these sources you mention. This is the defining point of the debate we are having. If you can provide sources that dispute my arguement then I have nothing, but without any kind of concrete evidence the debate will continue on...

    4. Stop Mocking Me0

      Stop Mocking Me0

The debate will go on forever. I had this exact argument MONTHS ago, ended the same way. NO one can conclude anything as fact because there ARE no facts, I received the same disapproval I feel now, honestly I would be thrilled for someone to come here and make some progress with some proof, but the fact of the matter is, no one can. Sad, but true.
