I'm gonna go ahead and nominate @LiamFTWinter as he has been an integral force in supplying the zombie community with quality information. On a micro scale, I see him post often here - offering tips, opinions, and general meaningful interactions. Notably I would cite his "Secret Codes in Shadows of Evil & The Giant" thread, as it really got the community into doing what we do best - figuring shit out. Thanks Liam, for sticking with us.

You can also remember the process using this nifty Acronym: Barf Double Portions When Varnish Consumed Rules And Requirements Any nomination will require a brief explanation, and example links of posts that show the qualities necessary for a User of the Month. A user may not nominate themselves or anyone sharing the same IP address. This is to avoid cheating. You need at least 50 posts, and have been a member for at least 30 days in order for your nominations to be considered valid. A user may not nominate more than three other users per competition. If there is an abundance of votes for two-three users where upon the total number of users is more than six, a second round of voting may occur if requested by the community. The second round will only consist of the top voted users. A user may not win User of the Month if they have won the title in the last 3 months. A staff member may not win the title if they have won in the last 6 months. Users will only be part of the User of the Month group for the month after they won. Unsurprising that some subs-hungry YT douche would exploit the hearts and minds of the community. Another iteration, another bunch of nobodies trying to become somebodies. Backwards compatibility, way. You been living under a rock? :P No hoops. If you own the 360 game disc, you put it in your One, and play. Not all 360 titles available right away, bo1 will be available starting December. When we say "available", basically this means that the devs have given consent to Microsoft to allow backwards compat. It's super easy, but clearly some devs wanted to do re masters (hence why borderlands 1 is backwards compat, but not borderlands 2 - because there is a remastered version). That brings us to State of Decay. Since there has already been a "remaster", I highly doubt it will be available on Backwards Compat. However many of your 360 titles will be. All 360 games with Gold from here on out will be backwards compat as well. Last but not least, way - we are all stoked because for the longest time Activision had held out on announcing whether previous CODs would be backwards compatible. We've known about the feature since E3, and so far previous COD was nowhere in sight. This is truly a blessing, and a huge gift from Microsoft and Activision. Very smart move.

I think it's clear that sometimes a star studded cast is not the best option. Chances are, they did all the mo cap and recording vocals long before they had the map finished, and the Easter egg steps fully fleshed out. The price of getting the actors back in the studio was not feasible, hence the jarring silence @LiamFTWinter was talking about. Also that Destiny reference is spot on, "I don't have time to explain why I don't have time to explain". Please, the Richtofen I know had just as much on the line, and not only had time to explain - but also make recordings of himself explaining! And talking about monkeys stealing spleens! We've waited 3 years, and to be honest I'm satisfied with what I've learned from the excellent Giant radios. But to be tempted with such potential, I can only hope there is more. Unless we are waiting again until DLC 1.

To anyone that is confused on how to set your default Activity Stream, simply navigate to the top menu, click on "New Topics & Posts", and then click the little green check mark next to the title once the page loads:

Doesn't look like it quite yet, but that's something that should be incorporated back into the mix at some point in the future.

I am an avid "New Content" user, and I want to make sure everyone knows the feature is still here - and that @Hells Warrriormade it specifically to fill the void after the developers of the forum software cut it out. In the top menu, under My Activity Streams - you will find New Topics & Posts. From there, you can switch between Expanded View (chronologically showcasing the most recent threads, and most recent post in that thread) and Condensed View (chronologically showcasing the most recent threads). It's going to take some getting used to. Please keep in mind that these are changes we requested, but something that is uniform with the version of software created by developers. When these updates roll out, we just roll with the punches. We will work on getting appropriate usertitle colors incorporated back into the Activity Stream section

What's Allowed as a Costume: - Any character from any medium (books, TV, games, movies) - Any personality living or dead (From DJ Vahn to Michael Jackson) - Any CODZ community member* -------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- What's Not Allowed as a Costume: - Anything leak releated - Anything pornographic -------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- * if you dress up as a forum member, it should be an act of love. Treat your costume with respect, don't act like a jerk, certainly don't dress up as a forum member to make fun of them. Personally, I'm hoping its all explained somehow where the Giant had already happened and Richtofen still does all those things. Like the Giant is just another MotD hell map or if somehow the new Richtofen ends up taking the others place. For instance, if this map ends with the Origins Richtofen going back in time another year or 10 years or something, is involved in some of the radio transimisions we've heard, and then frees the group at SNN. Then the O4 arrive at Der Riese right after this map. As long as the original story is upheld, I'll be happy. How do you explain the revamped Shi No Numa radio that says that overloading the teleporter sent them to Kino and the Kino loading screen that corroborates that? How did they get to Kino from SNN, where there's no teleporter there? I think the larger question is - how would there be a teleporter at all? Even if SNN took place after The Giant, Richtofen kills his older self that invented the teleporter w/ maxis. Hence, wouldn't that time ripple set forth a reality in which teleporters weren't created? Unless Maxis made one? My head hurts. But remember, he kills his older self in 1945, so the teleporters are already working. Exhibit A: he just sent Maxis and Sam through one. Therefore, there would be no issues with the teleporters existing. @Hells Warrrior @Covert Gunman Alright so Covy was saying that we should add a custom info section, which I agree with. Here's a mock up of how I picture: So the "info" section will only be viewable after you've clicked on an LFG post and are in the "View Group" pop up. The "info" section would allow you to include specifics about your play type. The information in this section will not factor into the filters, or anything like that. p.s. @NaBrZHunter not saying that you smoke, just using your post as an example!
