  1. lol didn't know there actually was a story. I just read this subforum "treyarch's next game - zombie suggestions". If my suggestion sucks that bad, have it deleted then. Blaming my vocab isn't quite fair since english isn't my mother language and the sarcasm you're refering to is as justified as respected senior members trying to scare new members. If I broke your moral codex, invisible rules or if you guys feel so much disrespected, have me banned then. I just wanted to write a few ideas about the next zombies in Black Ops 2, hoping Treyarch would read it...
  2. Nah, the guns shouldn't be mixed up. I thought of the following solution: Those who downloaded all the map packs for black ops 1, should be able to redownload them for free in black ops 2. If you haven't bought them yet you should be able to download them for a decent price. Say, 800 ms points for BO Maps, 800 ms points for the waw maps or 1200 ms points for all the zombie maps so far. Black Ops 2 - WaW Maps: WaW Guns only (Nacht der Untoten - der Riese) - Black Ops 1 Maps: Black Ops 1 Weapons only, exept for the MP40 in Kino (Kino - Moon) - Black Ops 2 modern Maps: Black Ops 2 guns only (box and wall) - Black Ops WWII and levels WWI level: WWII and WWI guns only (box and wall) And as for the uberweapons: I think there should be only one Wunderwaffe, only one ray gun (but a bit more powerful) and no more than 2 special grenades in a game. Also: They should improve the math at the box. Getting a wunderwaffe or the ray gun or the monkeys should decrease your chance of getting something awsome again. This means that one player shouldn't have all the good guns, the should be divided up so that every player can have something special -> people need to learn to play together, ego players can play solo. This makes also the gameplay balanced. (So far usually one person got all the good weapons and monkeys and he survived, the others died) Treyarch, listen up: It is the zombie mode that made your series of call of duty such a success and there are many people who will get BO2 just for the new zombie mode. This is why you shouldn't piss all these fans off whith a bad support. If you're going to release more map packs you should divede them up in mp map pack, zombie map pack and a combo. So far it has been no fair to pay 1200 ms point just to get 1 new zombie map if you didn't want to play mp in the first place. I'm terribly sorry to say that your campain sucks compared to CoD2, MW2, MW3 and the MP wasn't that great either (well, maybe CoD 5 was cool). This is way you should put a lot of effort and support in your best creation: Call of Duty Nazi Zombie. I've played lots of zombie games and modes (Gears, Dead Island, Left for Dead...) but none of them was so good and I've played non of them for such a long time as Nazi Zombies. Please keep that in mind and make all your zombie fans happy with a new, kick ass Blops 2 Nazi Zombie Mode. yay Edit: Please check out my new idea in my first post right after "edit" ;)
  3. NO, it would not. We already got Dead Island with zombie arena, and there's dead rising... CoD Nazi Zombies should be a shooter as it was until today. Maybe they could add a new knife or a bayonett for the 2nd time pack and punched arisaka. But the rest: Guns only and as many WWII guns as possible. And there shouldn't be classes like the brute, the technitian, the sniper etc. That's bullshit, we already got battlefield 3 for example. Treyarch must stick to their best invention: CoD Nazi Zombies (like the classic maps). Of course they should add a few new feautures, but copying an idea from someone else and mix it up to make it worse... ( -> cheep chinese copy ) And as for the WW one map, you wouldn't need that many anyway. I think the whole idea would be great. Let's face it, in Black Ops you just go for the Zeus Canon, the Ray Gun or the Tesla Gun etc. but if there's only crappy bolt action rifles, pistols, a few submachine guns and two old, really heavy machine guns only appear in the box, than you could experience (just for this map) a new gameplay. Zombies would be a bit slower and larger groups only appear in later waves/rounds. The gameplay would be more intense, brutal, maybe a bit more of a challenge. Or is it funnier to kill zombies with M249 Extended Map Ray Guns for all players and Max Ammo off the wall? I hope so much for awsome WWII guns and maps, because, especially the moon map, was a complete desaster. Since you have to wear a space suit anyway, you even don't get a real weapon sound... wtf? All my ideas are just based on the following: Would you either want to shoot george romero, fire zombies, astronauts with waveguns, rayguns (one wunderwaffe is enough for one map) or would you prefere to shoot german nazi zombies, with original uniforms (for example the one with the very first camo flage) with a badass mg42, assuming it has a very big rate of fire and a badass sound (as it did in COD 2)? So originally Call of Duty was a World War II Game, and if not in black ops 2 campaign mode, Treyarch defenitly has to go back to its roots in the zombie mode. :twisted:
  4. Hello Treyarch, these are my ideas for the future back ops 2 zombie mode. I've marked red what I expect (!!!) For the rest, well, as a big zombie fan (and I'm gonna buy black ops 2 just for the zombie mode, so please don't srew it up) I think they're cool. Hopefully you'll integrate some of them in the game Main Ideas So, listen up. Before you set all the (including silly) ideas from the other users into reality, consider this: Yes, there should be some new features in black ops 2 zombie with new perks, new and funny traps or whatever and new levels with diffrent zombies. But the mode is originally called: Nazi Zombies! So what I expect are at least 3 kick ass WWII maps, including many (new) badass WWII weapons only and the classic german nazi zombies (maybe diffrent uniforms)! Why? Because it's way more fun to shoot a german nazi zombi whith a MG42 than some fucking space zombies with a wave gun. Also, as a boss (like the professor, hellhounds, monkeys...), I'd see a Nazi General more fit than hellhounds etc. In these maps there should be the original characters, unlike call of the dead. And instead of making some weird future alien maps infinite ammo zero gravity crap like moon, one World War one map whould be cooler. Shooting the old Germans with their pointy helmets with the old round mg, akimbo luger... (like necro vision) Gameplay You should make a few adjustments. Famas for example should have as much ammunition as the galil, crappy weapons should do some damage, otherwise it makes no sense to include them. You should be able to pack and punch for a second time, but at a very high price in order to get a random attachment for example. Then, a sniper or single shot rifle should be powerful enough to shoot through 3-5 zombies if punched for the second time and decent enough to play with. Edit: I just had this thought: If you know how to play zombies, then you've bought everything off the map and you've got a lot of cash "for nothing". So why not pack and punch a 3rd time? Here's my new idea: 1st time: 1 random attachment (dual mag, extended mag, grenade launcher, rapid fire... for WWII guns, original attachments if possible, drum mag for thompson for example, for the rest, just something that makes sense.) + more ammo. 5000$ 2nd time: 1 random sight (red dot, scope, infra view, holo sight... for WWII guns, maybe original 1.4x scope for mauser, rifle scope for STGW 44, "cooler"/ diffrent iron sight for other guns, also something that makes sense. Do not add a red dot to a mp40, don't mix old with new) Damage and ammo slightly increased. 10'000$ 3rd tim: Freakin' gun paint / camo (gold, red, as until now, make it random, even the WWII and WWI guns should get a pimped look the third time) and laser sound and more damage. 20'000$ Please make it random, this will get the player a whole new experience for every time he plays Call of Duty Black Ops 2: Nazi Zombies. You'll never know which attachmen't you'll get and every time you'll play with "a diffrent weapon". Common, do the math for yourself. Say, 20 weapons, 7 attachments, 5 sights, 20 camo paintings... There would be so many possibilities Also, it would improve the gameplay. Now, after round 35 you're ray gun gets useless and you have to work with traps and the wunderwaffe. But if you have your 20'000$ and a 2nd time pack and punched weapon you could punch it a third time and the weapon would just be powerful enough to continue playing 5-10 rounds without depending on traps and the Zeus Canon until it gets... well :twisted: My last idea: It's not always fun to play 8 hours straight (plz plz plz include a "vote for 5min. break" mode) so there should be an "arcade mode" (like the zombie mode until now, new records...) and a "story mode" :level ends at, say round 25, with a short ending sequence. Takeo, Nikolai... blow up the level and escape for example (and plz keep including their funny comments, that was a cool idea) and we get to see, how they reach the next level. Example: they try to use the teleporter to escape and they accidentally get beamed back to the World War one level. Now (in story mode) they have to survive until the teleporter is cooled down at round 25. -> next level. In conclusion: As much WWII weapons an' stuff as possible, the very important feature to pause the game and NO STUPID IDEAS (max ammo off the wall, unlimited ammo,zero gravity, all weapons and perks... it's pathetic. Those who want this should just buy the pc version and cheat, for the console users it would just spoil everything. And loose the 3rd weapon perk. It worked perfectly without in in waw, now it's like a wickid glue, keeping the players near the box. Also: NO FUCKING MELEE WEAPONS (besides the **** please report this topic, post **** knife or the sickle, maybe 1 new replacement). Again, it is COD Nazi Zombi and not Dead Island!!! Furthermore: No MP stuff! Zombies is Zombies and Multiplayer is Multiplayer! No kill streaks, those who whant such things should buy mw3 for survival. Please make the zombie mode for zombie hardcore fans and not for regular mp player who don't play zombies that much anyway) Map Ideas - Africa Level. Takeo and Nikolai shooting the nazi zombi africa corps. Maybe with random sandstorms (like snowstorm in call of the dead) to cloud the players vision. A god forsaken village in the desert. - World War One map: Shooting the krauts in the trenches (like necro vision) old german zombies with their pointy helmets, the old iron cross etc. The weather should be stormy with lighning, dark sky and random rain periods (but not for too long) and this should be more of a fortification level, unlike kino der toten where you run your tour the france in circles. so -> cool spots to dig in and defend (king of the hill style) Make it as a team map only that people learn to play coop with other random players and not ego style. - A forest map, I'm thinking of the movie "Defiance" mith daniel craig and the cod 3 campaign level. underground passages and bunkers should be included. - Berlin 1945 Ruins of berlin. All that stands between Nikolai, Takeo... and a victory is a vast nazi zombi armada. Destroyed buildings, maybe with shell firing in the background (make it dramatic, instead of a simple background there should be allies fighting against the nazi zombies and they're being overrun, background style of the campaign levels!) A big factory (I'm thinking of such a factory like enemy at the gates), city streets, a few (half-) standing buildings and appartments and of course, the Reichstag, beneath it should be the führer bunker with the pack and punch machine. - Dead Snow (yes, like the movie) A mountain level with lots of snow, a huge avalanche as a trap (which kills the player too, if he's in the danger zone) tunnels and a snowbike as an escape route (like the mine car in shang ri la) - Letters from Iwo Jima (another movie ) fighting agains imperial army zombies like in shi no numa. mountain tunnels, a vast shore, hills, burning tanks. like the movie. nuff said! - A swampy level. Not like shi no numa, no. Rather like a labyrinth with high grass dead ends, you should be always on the run, random zombie spawn points and the level should somehow change itself randomly (new paths, old one blocked, a bit later reversed) a bit less zombies, but more horror style. holy shit, zombies, the other way, fast, hurry hurry Weapons (as much WWII as possible, and in the WWII levels only the WWII weapons, not black ops "der riese" with rpk and hk, wtf? :evil: MG42 most important gun!!! ppsh-41 also very important mp40 stgw44 mauser kar browning m1917 bar thompson chicago style mg08 mg30 dual/ akimbo luger british sten grease gun bren lmg lewis gun arisaka type 44 mp18 Degtyaryov machine gun mp35 Fg42 EPK (Pyrkal) Machine gun Ithaca Model 37 Furrer M25 ZB vz. 26 As for the black ops level weapons... just swap the rpk with the M60 and add the ak47 Other Stuff It would be cool if the zombie maps until now would also be playable in Black Ops 2. But don't you dare to charge users, who already paid (and even paid twice for the classic maps) the maps!!!! That's it, THX for reading [brains]
