  1. In zombies chronicles, most maps (Nact, verruct, snn, kino, ascension, shangri-la, and Moon) have it so all the perks in the wonder fizz are perks that ARNT on the map. I personally am against this as it makes it really easy to get perks like windows wine and stamin-up in verruct and shi no nu ma where they become quite OP. Also I feel it takes away a bit of the gamble in spinning the random perk machine. Furthermore it quenches certain strategies like how in ascension you could open neither way to jugg and get it from the wonderfizz, effectively making one less perk to guard on monkey rounds at the risk of not having access to jug immediantly and possibly having to spend more for it. However I'm currious to how other people think about only getting perks that arnt on the map from the wonder fizz. Does this work better OR worse on previous maps and would you like that to change if possible?
  2. Future Perk and Gobblegum Ideas

I've been posting this one sense Zetsubo released: Fallout Shelter: Lasts until next nuke is aquired: One zombie killed by a nuke will respawn instead of dying. This is mean to keep the round from progressing.
  3. Return of the M1911!

My sad but fleeting hope was that they were going to add in a weapon kit for the starting pistol that let you change between having the bloodhound, Mauser, M1911, and Mr6....
  4. ZC should add this...

While they're at it they should add in a weapon kit for the starting pistol that instead of attachments, let's you change between having an M1911, a Mauser, a bloodhound, or a mr6...
  5. Wonder fizz : Only new or all perks? Poll

I think you're hitting slightly left of the mark in understanding. (or I am with your explanation). Right now on moon with WW or in nacht with MK, the wonder fizz machine will never despence those perks because you can buy them elsewhere in the map. For the wonderfizz to work as I'd think it should be intended, all 9 of the perks should be in the wonderfizz. To be clear I'm not talking about the ethics of the perks being on the map at all, but rather, why are perks exclusively NOT on the map the ONLY perks in the wonder fizz. It'd be like playing der eisendrache and only being able to get windows wine, dead shot, or electric cherry from the wonder fizz.
  6. Wonder fizz : Only new or all perks? Poll

Thats not really the issue here. With stamin-up and ww, those perks are outside in the open and will be taken either way, however jugg (and possibly a couple of others) are inside a completely sealed off room. MEANING, if you can get jug without opening either entrance to the perk, there isn't anything the monkeys can ever do to get it. As it stands currently there are only 2 ways to get jug without opening the room: Survive a monkey round without letting them steal any perks, then getting lucky. Or using one of the various gum balls. What this effectively means is that by poping perkaholic, even if you can't fend off any monkeys before they take all your perks, you're going to be left with jugg when the round ends (as well as double tap and dead shot). To me, that seems like having perkaholic specifically can give a massive advantage to high-round players as it allows them to focus on defending perks other than jug. What I purpose is to put jug in the wonder fizz (as well as the other missing perks). That way EVERYONE can do that same strategy without the need to bring in perkaholic, however they risk going down and not having instant access to jug due to it being locked behind a wall of RNG.
  7. WWII Nazi Zombies - Discussion

I'd really like to see the zombies in this game get used as a weapon. Have them there deliberately. People (Nazis) actively useing them to break enemy lines. Not just shambling about in abandon facilities. Something closer to gorod krovi than der reise.
  8. ZC should add this...

Even for the old maps like nacht and shi no numa because they have those fancy new doll easter eggs.
  9. Zombie Chronicles Megathread

Ok first order of business GOOD NEWS EVERYONE! I've returned for a short while! Second order: What progress has anyone made on discovering new easter eggs in verruct, kino, ascension, shangri-la, moon, and Origins? I know about the fountain spewing blood, but what does that signify? Is that it or do we need the zombie vomit gobble gum or something? I'd also check out the buttons in the power room on moon, and the gears on stage in kino! I'd hunt myself, but alas I'm away from the ole play station for a few days.... Edit/update: There is apperiantly a CONTINUATION to the Origins Easter Egg involving using zombie blood to see a whisper within the staff room. This was first thought to be a visual glitch but is now considered a step due to Samantha screams and constant ability to recreate events. YO! I AM DOWN to hunt for easter eggs Thursday evening if this isn't found by then, and even then I'm 90% sure all maps have something like this in them now. We found Nact and SNN, let's get em all boys!
  10. The bs that still exists in all these amazing maps

Could be worse. He could start that horrible moonwalk sprint of death from the original moon! Oooooh those were the days...
  11. The KN-44 theory

So, we've got a lot of questions surrounding many aspects of black ops 3. However there is one seemingly normal item that keeps appearing in odd instances: The KN-44 is a decent weapon with decent damage, rof, weight, ammo capacity, ect. But it's been seen doing suspicious things behind the scenes. Exhibit A: The giant: Seen here, this weapon's wall chalk is seen in the center of this diagram. The diagram depicts a faint outline of the summoning key: Within that diagram, as well, is a hyper-cube This object has been commonly linked to the aspect of a 4th physical dimension, which, to us, is uncomprehensable as we are 3rd dimensional beings with simplistic minds. (For a better understanding of this concept please see the book/movie "Flatline" ) SO. Through logical deduction we can infer that this weapon is tied to the summoning key in some way. Or that all weapons are tied to it in some way, but I'll get into that later. In a similar manner, we can assume that these two have 4th-dimensional capabilities. Now the final thing I'd like to note is the signature at the bottom that states this blueprint DOES belong to Dr. Monty. Who is this character? Easy: The inventor of the perk-a-colas, and gobble-gums, as well as their respective machines. Machines that seem to fallow the story of zombies, wherever it may go. Thus this brings me to my next topic: Quantum Entanglement. Quantum Entanglement you've heard before as a tactical on moon (The QED Quantum Entanglement Device) so we know that this aspect has been at least somewhat harnessed by group 935. Enter Dr. Monty. We know HE was a part of 935 from the 935 logo JUST put on perk-a-colas (which reminds me, I have a VERY interesting question about electric cherry to discuss on another topic), thank you Mr. RoflWaffles: If Monty worked with 935, it'd make sense he would have blueprints on the giant. However, I theorize that Dr. Monty was also fluent in the aspects of Quantum Entanglement on a macro level. I think he invented the perfect form of advertisement: Products that are tied to fallow you across the 4th dimension VIA Quantum Entanglement. To put it simply, I think Monty is the reason Perk-a-colas fallow the gang everywhere. But what does this have to do with the KN-44? Enter Exhibit 2: Der Eisendrache Many people don't know this, but some people through the power of theater mode, have noticed that when certain things happen in the map, a KN-44 appears for a fraction of a second. Saddly I can not find any visual aid for these instances. They are however: -Being thrown into a bush when Dempsey 1.0's rocket crash-lands. -Under the floor of urn when the void bow ritual is being performed. These are the two places I KNOW this happens, and it may happen even more-so. The point is, the KN-44 is appearing all over these maps in secrecy. But why? It's a mere weapon. It serves no purpose. It's not a powerful artifact, or security device, or even code for all we know. It just.... Exists. So. Lets discuss these questions: -What makes the Kn-44 significant? -Why does the weapon ONLY appear in certain instances? -What does it mean?
  12. So, the idea of more zombies maps in dlc 4 is extreamly controversial at this juncture. So, I've rounded up a lot of the evidence that points towards both sides: Yes there will be more zombies, and No there won't be any more then Revelations. ---------- FOR: -This game has the least amount of zombies maps since waw with a grand total of 6 maps including Revelations. 7 including DOA. - The idea of a multi-zombies-map dlc is heavily desired by the community. -There are the constant images of Moon remakes, such as the altered moon loading screen found early in the year, to the picture of staminup sent to "the glitching queen". While TGQ's picture can't be confirmed as legit (although it's highly detailed, going as far as to change the grenade wall buy), the loading screen for Moon is indisputably legit. -It has been discovered recently that the size and layout of the map leaderboards, after the release of Gorod Krovi, has been changed. Where previously the 5th map was listed beneath the other 4, now it resides in a smaller box to the right of the 4 maps. This change in orientation has been assumed to be due to the need to stack more boxes (meaning more maps) under each map's so far. To make things clear-er, why bother changing the layout if there would only be 6 maps? You'd have the first 4 maps centered above, then two on the second row. Now that there's 5 spaces in the first row, it seems like there is more space in the second row for more maps. -Everything from the in-game description, to the codXP description has been prancing around saying "Dlc 4 MP". They have yet to ACTUALLY say that the DLC 4 gameplay at COD XP is for Multi-player, rather, they've stated the DLC will be playable at the event, and that IFW's Zombies and Multi-player will be playable at the event. They have gone to great lengths to NOT put DLC 4 and Multi-player in the same sentence, anywhere that I can find. The only reasons I can think of to do this is either A:To hype us up about thinking there may be a zombies based DLC, which they're really won't be. OR they're specifically stating that as they don't want to give it away that the event is mainly zombies based. Revelations is completed: And has been sense before the release of Gorod Krovi. If that's the case, they either have time to test the game for bugs (lol) OR develop more maps. --------- AGAINST: -The post on Activision Support: Back in January, there was a post made by activision on their support forums that lists that all dlcs will come with 4 multi-player maps and a zombies chapter. Seems pretty wrapped up right? Well not entirely. See the post was A-Came from the IT crowd of the support company, not the team that designs the game. And B- It was posted before Der Eisendrache. So while the evidence is pretty conclusive, it doesn't ENTIRELY put out the idea of a zombies based DLC. -The seasons pass: Multi-player's community is the main cash cow of any COD game. Many may become enraged if they're "cheated" out of their money because the last DLC doesn't have any MP maps, which means they payed and extra 5$ for a whole bunch of zombies content they didn't want. That being said, all DLCs MUST contain Multi-player Content, but not necisarily maps, as described by the in game description. -There IS a lot of zombies content: With the inclusion of nightmare mode and the level in campaign AND custom zombies, there is actually a fair bit of zombies content in this game. Much more then WAW at the very least. However for console versions of the game, there may be less then expected. ---------------- So, this is all the evidence that I can find for each side, let me know if you have any more. Personally I'm. HOPEING for an all zombies DLC, but NOT expecting it.
  13. Idea: The Groph File

OK, so, I was thinking about the current state of the mod tools. I haven't properly used them yet (still building a PC), however, from what I've gathered, we've yet to secure the ability to add: -Custom Gumballs -Custom Weapon Kits Well I got to thinking, and I realized: Why do we need to edit the GAME'S files to get these features. From my layman's understanding of this, the game works like this: You start off selecting 5 gumballs: You go into a game, once the game has begun, the 5 gumballs you've chosen go into a file. You get a gum, it calls it's value (Ex. if you picked up an arm's grace, it'd say "Gumball_2", of course this isn't it's REAL name, but for clarity's sake, it's Gumball_2. ) Once the value is read, a certain effect is put into place such as "Upon Respawn: run "'Gumball_2'//Return guns" (again, this is NOT how the real game works it's much more complex but again, basic concepts) SO. Why would we need to alter game files to do this? Why don't we instead build a universal program that holds a database of a horde of custom gumballs. Like this: Instead of the game calling "Gumball_2", it calls "Groph File-> Gumball_2" which takes the pre-selected gum from the GROPH file as opposed to the game file. I got thinking and realized: We could build a whole expansion on this. SO, when you download and install this groph file, you can bring up this GUI, which shows something similar to the game, with some minor changes. So you only have two options to begin with: -Multiplayer -Zombies Multiplayer is where people can post their custom maps, custom weapons, and custom whatevers for multiplayer. Zombies has a significant amount more. It has an entire gumball data-base which has a LONG list of custom gumballs created by the community and neatly sorted to all contain a different value. So, if you wanted a gumball that just gives you 10,000 points, select it, and add it to your pack. This pack is what the game will recognize as your gumball pack in-game. There's also an expansive list of weapon kits to use: NOTE weapon kits work differently, the custom map requires a weapon to be called to be in the game, so if you want to use, say, the fire staff with a fast-mags attachment (somehow) you set it up, then when you get the fire-staff in-game, it comes equipped with fast mags. The key is that the custom map calls this weapon. Again, this is just an idea of mine that's not properly formulated yet and definitely not executable by myself. Just a thought though.
  14. After listening to this the other day, I think this song would be a better fit for SOE. I mean in SOE we have a star, the law, a fighter, ect. and in the song, the shepard of fire is the shadowman leading the "weak". I don't have the lyrics in front of me and I can't really access the song right now to listen to it, but I'll try to update this thread later with my full analysis of the lyrics.
  15. The End Cutscene Discussion [SPOILERS] [SPOILERS]

According to some the super ee is going to be patched in once the game releases on xb1 and PC. That could explain why the images didn't change. Also: The zombies community right now:
  16. The End Cutscene Discussion [SPOILERS] [SPOILERS]

Somebody.... Had better get that EFFING super easter egg done, and TELL ME that there's a better ending then THAT. 8 Years of hidden clues, HARRPS, nazi technology, cthulu rituals, ciborg russian zombies, blowing up the earth.... How... How can it all end like this. No lesson learned, no proper foretelling of the future or what happened. No betrayal, no fucking insight to shit. Just this bullshit character we were introduced to vaguely practically a year ago, who has gone from a nobody, to the guy who controls perks, to fucking god I guess. NO backstory, NO practicality. Then wtf is up with SOPHIA? A character who was brought up MAYBE ONCE in bo1, now is the key to killing the shadow man and ending the apothicons? Meanwhile a key character like richtofen practically stays silent this whole run?! Then just Primis? Primis didn't fail! Primis just fucking appeared at the end! Oh yay, our reward for all that was.... we got to become templars? Nikolai wanted to return to his family, to which, all of them had. The children are no longer safe, they're non-existent. They disappeared with the apothicon sun! Holy FUCK I'm pissed. I could write a better ending for that in a MARGWA HEART BEAT. I swear... There better be a hidden wave gun somewhere on this map......
  17. I just checked the android store to see if there was an app released by treyarch...

    We're reaching here.

  18. Trying to find 3 people to do the Easter egg

We have a specific section for finding teamates to do these things with: http://www.callofdutyzombies.com/groupfinder/
  19. Maps Are Merged, Not Standalone

By actually having an ending and not a new beginning....
  20. Maps Are Merged, Not Standalone

OK... So... Yeah. My bullshitometer has calmed. Are we getting remakes? No. But that intro shows us PLENTY of original area. Hopefully those areas will be the main focus of the maps. I must note this doesn't feel like a big finale final battle... This feels like a lulling battle. I think at the end of the map, everything will be OK. The apoticons will be vanquished, and the perfect world will resume.. The O4 can retire their stories, hang up their starting pistols, and live peacefully. However they will return. Eventually. But not... For a very long time... Just my 2 cents.
  21. Maps Are Merged, Not Standalone

If we get some remasters of these maps in a transit style sectioned off mash up that'd be really nice. It's not going to happen. But it'd be nice. I swear if they try to pass a mash-together of old maps, under the premise there's little to no between area, as the Grand finale. I'll be done with blundel. It's been a long time sense my bullshitometer has gone off, but it's off the charts right now and I am NOT OK with that. Maybe I'm just being paranoid, OR clinging to the sad idea of the DLC season being over, but for some reason I don't like treyarch spoon feeding us a little bit of every map from the past and everyone going apeshit over it like its mana from heaven. We deserve more then that.
  22. Black Ops 3 Revelations official trailer

I hate this. Nostalgia can do many things. It can not make a grand finale map. (Which, atm appears to be the case, with the changes to these locations) I swear if this ends up being the biggest cop out ever... "The last map is ALL maps! " Bullshit. Obviously I've yet to play the map, OR see it. But as of right now, I am skeptical, and I am NOT impressed.
  23. Likeliness of an All-zombies DLC.

Way back in BO1, zombies fans were AMAZED to find out that the final map pack for that game would feature a DLC that consisted of the 4 original WAW maps, and an all new stunning map: Moon. We've yet to see this phenomenon happen again in the 2 games sense then that have had zombie content. Sadly, I don't think we'll be getting an all zombies DLC, here's why: -1: The season's pass. Black ops 1 didn't have one, but BO2 did, and so does BO3. By implementing this you have to look at it from a zombies, AND a multiplayer perspective. A majority of COD players play for MP, not zombies, so if DLC 4 was devoid of multiplayer maps, there's a good chance the MP community will feel jipped and outraged. -2: Content: The hardened and special editions of BO1 came with the WAW maps, meaning they were already included into the game. BO3, only came out with "The giant" similar to how BO2 came out with nothing but "nuketown" zombies. If they did release an all zombies DLC what would be in it? Maybe the giant, but players who have at least the seasons pass would have had that long ago. They'd likely get another original map, but what about the rest? What would occupy that space? How would you chose which maps to add? They wouldn't create 2-4 NEW maps, even if they were tiny. And picking and choosing what maps would return based off what? Maybe der eisendrache has some serious ties with "moon" but aside from that, nothing from BO2 would be re-made (too big and complicated), and just re-releasing WAW maps again would be lame. Maybe if they re-created the WAW maps like they did with "The giant" that'd be cool: The Night: Wall running, gobble gum, wonderfizz, and pack-a-punch all make it into this revisioning of this classic bunker-style map. The Asylum: Return to the horrors of Verruct with all new access to new perks, gobble-gum, and an all new horde of kick-assery. The swamp: Zombies arn't the only monsters here. Complete with a kick-ass flame thrower and all new weaponry, killing freak-bags has never felt so surreal. Totally making map concepts for these now: But I doubt we'll see that too... Now. On the other hand: -BO3 is really surprising me. It's a really innovative game (compared to other CODs) what with DOA2, the free-run courses (leaderboards for that are TOTALLY fucked BTW), and the weapon kits. Der eisendrache also has blown me away with how nostalgic they've gone with the story. It's very romanesque of the golden age of zombies (to me): The black ops 1 era. I wouldn't put it past treyarch to pull an all zombies DLC. -Compromise: An idea we discussed a while back, were custom skins for the specialists in MP that looked like the zombies team. So the gravity spikes would be wielded by a dempsey character with the ragnarok DG-4s. An excellent idea I'd like to think. I've always wanted to know who would win in a shootout: Dempsey or Nikolai? Another concept would be to release the giant, and now maybe even der eisendrache, as multiplayer maps. That'd be cool. As well, the maps have been devoid of BO2's game-mode maps like grief and turned. Some say that's a good thing, but it's definitely a possibility DLC 4 would unlock gamemode-versions of maps. But that's much less likely considering we've been told there is no plans for future gamemode-maps. Your thoughts? Also vote to if you THINK and if you WANT a full zombies DLC.
  24. OK. Let's just discuss it now: Rezurection 2.0

So. We have salvation... So far treyarch have been keeping it under HEAVY lock and key: Will DLC 4 be zombies based? I HOPE SO! But lets not forget mp will get some sort of content as well, likely a weapon of sorts or new specialist.
  25. Likeliness of an All-zombies DLC.

Forgot I made this thread, lol. IT'S HYPETIME BOIS!
