  1. Why does everyone keep saying this map is a disappointment. It's not like they are going to just take 'launch' and turn it into a zombie map... They are designing a ground up zombie map, but it's going to be based at the cosmodrome... And Der Reise was based off the multi map 'night fire', it WASNT night fire, just based off of it...
  2. Oh I'm not denying that the monkey is significant, but sometimes the subtle clues are the most pertenant. People just continue to ignore what's right in front in front of them.
  3. Wow, people are still defending the lighthouse theory? Honeslty, ur basing your theory off a picture? You know they use stock imagery to populate the map to make it seem more real... Not EVERYTHING is a clue... And why does everyone continue to ignore the monkey diagram released by GKNOVA6? You know the one that has blueprints of Sputnik in the background? And we all know Sputnik was launched from wheeeere?? OH YEA! The cosmodrome... Yes... This means NOTHING at all...
  4. Sorry man, just get a little snippy with people that say stuff like "THIS IS HOW IT'S GOING TO BE." I just feel it was a little close minded, cuz really NOBODY outside 3arc really does. It's just there was so much compelling evidence pointing towards the cosmodrome. Granted it required a little digging, again it just seemed a bit hard headed to completely ignore evidence released by the production company themselves, just because a picture of a light house and a quote. So again dude, didn't mean to sound like a dick, just trying to get you to see why the cosmodrome was a viable option as well.
  5. YES!!! No more lighthouse theories!!! Good find mang!
  6. viewtopic.php?f=60&t=4826. LOL
  7. Plus, playing in a lighthouse? A: they really aren't that big, so the map would be tiny. B: what happens when you get to the top? Seems like a good place to get trapped and die. 3arc has to consider the replay value of the map, somehow a lighthouse seems like illogical place to host a game based upon running, moving, dodging, and surviving... Just a thought
  8. Also, in my personal opinion, I think people are looking into the quote "ascend from darkness" much too literally. The cold war, nuclear arms race, space race, ect. are all significant in the birth of the modern age. Sputnik (blueprints behind monkey diagram) was the first man made object to orbit the earth. Russians launched this completely by surprise to the US. This was what spurred the space race between the Soviets and America. In order to reach the moon first, ALOT of new technology had to be developed, most significant was the computer. Before this computers were gigantic, often filling entire rooms. We NEEDED to develop a much smaller one to serve as the guidance computer for our flight to the moon, because as we know necessity is the mother of invention. Along with all of this was the refinement process of aluminum which was used significantly in the development of the Saturn 5 rockets that took us to the moon. We needed a light but strong metal and at that time, because aluminum had never really been needed, it was one of the most valuable metals on the planet... Now we wrap our leftovers in it... Point being, everything we know today is based upon technology developed to take man into space. So "ascend from darkness" may very well be referring to mans step into the modern age. Thus possibly relating it to this Russian cosmodrome from which Sputnik was launched... Everyone needs to start looking outside the box a bit. Also, when you talk about what the silverbacks have to with German zombies? Not ALL the zombies have been German... Shi no numa? Five? I know you said Five doesn't count, but that's not my point. Also notice they stopped calling it NAZI zombies and now it's just a non-specific "zombies." Plus there is alot of evidence for the cosmodrome, so stop being ignorant and insulting people for believing what they believe. Post your theory and leave it at that, no need to ATTEMPT to prove everyone else wrong with sub-par evidence. Realistically no one knows what it's going to be
  9. I posted that link, not because I found it really relevant, but because it was interesting. It talks about the ascension code and the reoccuring diabolical happenstances that are related to said ascension code. It also talks about beings being marked for control based upon said code. Also, asking why the biblical end of days? And how it relates to zombies? The dead rising from the grave? Are you kidding about how it relates? Learn to think outside the box there pal...

  13. Would if I could man, don't have the PC version tho... And the room your referring to is the centrifuge. Where did you get the info on that being the starting position? And while I hope the map is based upon the cosmodrome, I'm also hoping they include larger rooms for some zombie juking. Just don't want it to be corridors, though they are much wider in 'exec deci' than they are in 'five', so that's a plus, even if it does wind up consisting mostly of them. AHHH! CANT WAIT!
  14. While I have no concrete evidence, I don't see how zombies could be anywhere else than the cosmodrome. I finally played the campaign level "executive decision" and everything about the lower facilities absolutely screams zombies. The lighting, layout, windows, doors... Not to mention there are blueprints for the R7 ICBM all over the place, similar to the blueprints for Sputnik in the background of the GKNOVA6 monkey diagram... The majority of the clues released, so far, points unquestionably towards being related to the space program... Also in 'exec deci' there are books with richtofens name on em ALL OVER THE PLACE... Sooo...
  15. Why did so many people even START to believe those pics. Treyarch always does a fantastic job with lighting effects and graphics in general. Those pics show a map that is far from professional... I mean literally laughable that someone would try to pass them off as the real thing. I mean common guys, I know everyone is geeked about the new map but 3arc isn't going to release shit like that, even if for some unimaginable reason they would secretly release a beta to a few people. They have a standard of quality to maintain, why the hell would they release such crap. Nobody has played the new map and no one will until it's released... I understand being hopeful, but there's no sense in setting yourself up for disappointment... Everyone needs to just keep looking for clues and look forward to killin some zombies, and STOP BELIEVING ALL OF THIS CRAP
  16. Well, while I think that'd be awesome, I think it'd take away from the fun. It'd make acquiring a good gun TOO easy. Cause in later rounds you pretty much constantly have at LEAST 2000 points. A thought towards layout though, I'd love to see more of a sky scraper like level, where the floors may be smaller, but there are like 5 or 6 of them. Of course I also think Zombies should be made into it's own franchise too. SO many things could be included then. Like having some maps set towards WWII era, and some set in modern times with modern weapons. I would GEEK THE F*CK OUT to tear into some zombies with modern guns. And if they made the game it's own franchise, they could make the levels HUGE and really complex. I dunno about you guys but playing a map multiple times and still finding new areas would be really cool, and make it's replay value exceptionally high
  17. See in my opinion I think having a counter as to how many zombies are left would significantly take away from the game. It's about surviving, and part of the suspense is NOT knowing how many are left. It's not ALL about how many rounds you survive, but the process involved in getting to those later rounds. Maybe put a health bar above the head of the last zombie, so theres no "whoops, i didnt think thatd kill him" moments. I do however think having a temporary radar is an interesting idea. It could be used effectively at higher rounds when running is necessary. Knowing roughly where they are concentrated for a short amount of time can provide a serious tactical advantage when moving, sometimes blindly (aka running backwards shooting), from room to room. And I'm definitely a big fan of the attachment box idea, there are multiple attachments in multi that would prove useful in zombies.
  18. Well maybe thats not such a good idea... Cuz then the whole team could just chill down there and keep buying weapons and railing em down the hallway...
  19. A pro box, which costs 1500 or 2000 that gaurantees an automatic weapon with a random attachment. Located in one place only, perhaps down a long corridor so if it's the beginning or middle of a round you seriously have to consider the risk
  20. Ya dude, welcome to the party. I found the diagram behind the monkey are blueprints for Sputnik like a week ago... Just sayin...
  21. Thats a really good theory. Me and my buddy were thinkin about what it might mean and what significance it had. But that makes slot of sense! Nice!
  22. Sounds like the bowels of a cold war Russian launch facility to me!
  23. If you listen to the video reels in kino it's clearly a Russian scientist instead of German for once. And I haven't listened to ALL the Easter eggs in all the maps, but from what I know the Russian is a change of pace
