  1. They get remakes purely because the audience is there for it. It's been near enough a decade since the original games for generation 3 came out, and I for one am more than ready to get back into Hoenn. I think it's unfair to label it as a complete remake; both remakes previous both added new features and perks to improve the original game. Besides, I think we ALL want to see the Hoenn region in glorious 3D.

Besides, the reason CoD gets hate is because it releases a new game every year, and they ARE very similar. This is the first Pokemon remake in 4 and a half years so it's a completely different feeling. Also, Pokemon has much more of a nostalgic fanbase. It has that replay-ability factor that CoD doesn't have simply because of how vast the Pokemon world is. I wouldn't consider these games a remake, more like a re-imagination. Similar to how movies do it. Saying that OR and AS shouldn't be made because of Ruby and Sapphire is like saying the Dark Knight movies should never have been made because there have already been Batman movies.

    That's my take on things.

  2. Gotta be honest I'm interested. I can see this being killer on PS4/Xbone and unlike BO2 it looks like genuine futuristic warfare. Don't get me wrong, I really want another WW2 era CoD; BUT after WaW I want it to be Treyarch to make it because they know how to make a kick ass WW2 era game. I may consider picking this up when I know more about it, but so far it's succeeded where Ghosts failed and got that first spark of interest. GG Sledgehammer.

  3. 800 and 10k posts is insane. Nobody in CoDz history has ever achieved either of those (accounting for exchange rate of 10-1 brains). I think perhaps it should be lowered a little because holy moly that's crazy. Or maybe you like the idea of it being near impossible to reach... Ahh who am I judge they look so cool I'll be happy either way :P

EDIT: Also noticed Him has been removed from the list? No longer liking the dude? I thought the little electric guy was fitting for me :P

  4. I made a YouTube video just after the release of Black Ops II where I talked about what potential future maps we'd get. I said one in China, one in Africa, one in Europe, mentioning France specifically, and one in South America.

Not long after Die Rise came out. Set in China.

DLC3 contained the lovely Buried. Set in Africa.

And then finally Origins. Set in France.

The only map I didn't predict the location of was Mob of the Dead; but who likes that map anyways :P

I know it's not much, and mostly down to luck, but still, I'm pretty proud of it :D

  5. An interesting idea. Maybe Treyarch will actually make Tranzit properly next ime. Y'know, without the horrendous fog, the lack of anything interesting, and get rid of that god damn fire.

Personally I think it's a bit of a long shot. Given it's the first map, it's probably nothing to do with any more Zombies we might get. Perhaps a scrapped idea that was never used again. But who knows? It's certainly better to be coming up with theories like this than to just give up on Zombies ever coming back.

  6. Welcome back everyone! Huge thanks to Craig for all his hard work, and thanks to all of you for your patience!

This is a brand new start for CoDz, and the future looks bright... If littered a little bit with Zombies and death and... Yeah...

  7. Wasn't like the first teaser video we saw 3 giants? I saw it somewhere, because I've known about it for awhile. Glad to see another trailer coming though!

We've seen other, smaller, robots, but only one GIANT robot to date.
