  1. We do NOT know Moon is inm2025, in fact I'm pretty sure it's in the 1960's given the sign in No Man's Land that says 1960, as well as the banner in the back of the complex that commemorates a group that existed in the 1960's. Under what grounds? In Call of the Dead, Richtofen says they went too far into the future, so wouldn't that imply that they actually went back in time and not "immediately" afterwards? And yes it may only be a few months before Moon when we PLAY in the game, bu not when we are there. We could play on a map for 2 days and then go 50 years into the future, and still say it's 2 days after that map. So you're right and wrong in those terms, based on how you phrased it and what you meant to say. I wish you would stop being so difficult... To be honest I'm going to stop posting on this thread soon...I realized recently I couldnt care less WHEN the maps happen, just as long as they happen in 2 eras: before dooms day and after dooms day... You all can continue to fight over in inconclusively because there is NO way to prove who's right unless trayarch themselves tell us, which is unlikely... If you make statements without proof then people are going to question them... Unfortunately for you there are a lot of people that DO care about the time the maps are set so getting involved in the discussion was going to provoke a response. As Tac said, there is no proof to anything so stating that Moon and Shangri La are 'clearly in 2025' was plain illogical. -Jolteon
  2. I'm sorry but it's not 60 years. There is unbelievable evidence recently come to light that strongly suggests that Green Run takes place directly after Moon. So in fact it is entirely possible it could be the original four -Jolteon
  3. Actually we DO know when Nuketown takes place. We know it took place during the same time as Moon, and we know Moon took place in the 60's. Other than weaponry and perhps the bus/robot, there is not really anything to point towards 2025. Plus, if Green Run WAS in 2025, then it would have been 60 years since the nukes hit Earth. 60 years is a REEEEEAAAAAALLLLLLYYYYYYY long time. There would be sign of SOME sort of recouperation. The map looks as if the nukes hit within the last few years. -Jolteon
  4. VERY interesting. I'm sure this is something to do with another Easter Egg. Anyone who's done the EE had similar experiences? -Jolteon
  5. Good day all, this is Dark Jolteon with a quick theory regarding the morse code Easter Eggs on TranZit. As you have probably guessed from the title, I have a sneaky suspiscion that our old pals who we last saw on the Moon are in fact trying to contact us! Firstly, the morse code lights. Here are two videos by MrRoflWaffles briefly explaining them: GwXudiFx73k lme_kiq3mJo So, now you have an idea of what the morse code Easter Egg actually is, let's briefly discuss what my theory is. Basically, my idea is that it is potentially possible that the morse code is actually being sent to us by our old heroes, Takeo, Nikolai and Dempsey. Just briefly consider this. We currently have no clue as to where our old friends are or what they are doing, and yet we have mysterious morse code being sent out to us from an unknown source. Clearly someone that knows the details behind what is going on is trying to contact us, and who better than our old heroes? Speaking primarily from a logical point of view, Treyarch KNOW we adore our old characters and it would be plain illogical to cut them from the game as people would just not like it. Thanks for reading, and leave your thoughts, criticisms and opinions below! -Jolteon
  6. Although in a linear fashion this makes sense, there's just no way to ignore the mountains of evidence that point to Moon being in the 60s and Green Run to directly follow it. -Jolteon What evidence? Sorry if you've already answered that question.. Well, if you read the rest of the thread there is a lot of discussion of it. I'm not 100% positive on the ins and outs of it all, I just know there is a lot of evidence -Jolteon
  7. Although in a linear fashion this makes sense, there's just no way to ignore the mountains of evidence that point to Moon being in the 60s and Green Run to directly follow it. -Jolteon
  8. I keep forgetting that it's actually called Green Run. I'll try and remember for the future but I can't promise anything Also, thanks for clearing up the CotD issue in a much cleaner fashion than I could -Jolteon
  9. Okay. Let me put another theory out there. I'm still fighting the point that TranZit is in the 60s, and I want to give another take on how it is plausible for CotD to still be modern day. I'm going to loosely talk of what Magna spoke of above me. I'm going to talk of the 'Butterfly Efect'. For those who do not know what the Butterfly Effect is, here is a brief explanation. The butterfly effect is a term used in chaos theory to describe how small changes to a seemingly unrelated thing or condition (also known as an initial condition) can affect large, complex systems. The term comes from the suggestion that the flapping of a butterfly's wings in South America could affect the weather in Texas, meaning that the tiniest influence on one part of a system can have a huge effect on another part. Taken more broadly, the butterfly effect is a way of describing how, unless all factors can be accounted for, large systems like the weather remain impossible to predict with total accuracy because there are too many unknown variables to track. In addition to this, the Butterfly Effect is often used to describe the effect of time travel. It is said that an individual who travels back through time can completely change the future depending on there actions in the past. As the legend goes if you travel back into the past and step on a butterfly, then something in the future will be completely changed. So, how does this link into our Zombies storyline? Well, our old heroes were in the present. This we know. Call of the Dead was set in 2012/13 and our heroes were there. Richtofen states to the CotD cast that they travelled 'too far' into the future. Hence, they needed to travel back. That is what we did in the Easter Egg in CotD. We sent them back in time to Shangri La. So, they went back in time, hence the Butterfly Effect can potentially be fulfilled. Now, I'm not saying Richtofen stamped on a butterfly in Shangri La (although it's highly plausible he did), but what I m saying is that the past was changed, and so the future changed with it. Up until the end of the Moon Easter Egg, the Zombies storyline was following our line of time. Everything that we have seen has happened in our timeline and effectively the Zombies storyline was our past. So how do we have this seemingly implausible series of events? Well, no mere butterfly could change so much of the future right? Well, how about three nukes hitting the Earth? That would kill a hell of a lot of butterflies, and would completely change the future. So, in this particular instance, CotD no longer exists as the future and because of our actions in CotD the future most certainly is black. That's right, it was completely our fault. As a brief summary because the above may be difficult to understand (my unique writing style can be confusing, I know), our actions in Siberia as the CotD cast, sending Richtofen back in time, effectively 'activated' the Butterfly Effect when he destroyed the Earth with the nukes, effectively erasing the future we have seen in CotD. It's all very complicated but if you can get your head around it, it makes perfect sense. Perhaps someone who understands what I'm saying can post the theory in an easier to understand manor Thanks for reading, -Jolteon
  10. Holy Shit Shooter strikes again! Epic work once more my friend! -Jolteon
  11. :? Please, try not to launch a nuke anytime soon. Okay Jolteon? Actually try not to launch a nuke ever. I can't make any promises. *Swiftly moves to Siberia*
  12. Not Necessarily. CotD is set 50 years AFTER Moon and TranZit. 50 years is a LONG time to try and rebuild. Besides, who says that Siberia was particularly badly hit? If I were Maxis and I were the one launching nukes at the Earth, I sure as hell wouldn't be aiming for Siberia. You'd aim for the super-powers. The USA, Western Europe and China. Siberia probably got away relatively unscathed by the whole nuking fiasco and so it is entirely plausible that CotD could still happen despite the progression of events in Moon and TranZit. Believe me when I say Treyarch simply would not have made that mistake. -Jolteon
  13. I have no doubts in my mind that we are in the 60s. It just makes far more logical sense than being in 2020s. I'm sorry, but the guns have no relevance to the storyline whatsoever. I won't get into it, Shooter already said it all above. As for the robot, there are plenty of explanations. Firstly, even in the 60s they had some advanced robotics. Perhaps not as advanced as our robot friend on the bus, but this is also easily gotten around. The robots eyes. There is far more relevance to the robot having blue eyes than perhaps many of us realise. Treyarch could've made them any colour, but they didn't. They made them the EXACT same shade of blue as the Zombies eyes. The robot is being controlled by Richtofen, that I am sure of. That, and everything everyone else has said, is all but confirmation of the timezone TranZit is set in. -Jolteon
  14. UK, Paris, either way, we have the opportunity for a DOUBLE DECKER BUS! Make it happen Treyarch. Nothing would please me more than to slay Zombies on a classic red London double decker bus, visiting all the landmarks of my Capital City. It would make my life. -Jolteon
  15. The Eiffel Tower would be a perfect connection to the rest of the storyline. -Jolteon It would be. Now the question is where the third site would be. But that's another theory for a different thread. All I can say is that I'll see you in Paris Okay, this may be a long shot, but PERHAPS we could be looking at the Queen Elizabeth Tower in London (more popurlarly known as Big Ben). There ave been many links to a map in the UK and so I guess it makes sense. However, we can speculate till the cows come how. I will indeed be seeing you in Paris my friend -Jolteon
  16. GAH! I keep meaning to! I will try and get through it sometime soon! Thanks for the reminder! -Jolteon
  17. Okay, I was a little harsh, the thread DOES still have relevance. I'll change the title and the OP around to make a little more relevant sense. We can keep digging around because New York has some relevance in all this. Thanks for the vote of confidence fellas! -Jolteon
  18. The Eiffel Tower would be a perfect connection to the rest of the storyline. -Jolteon
  19. I'm just rusty XD I used to be okay at this theorizing stuff but it's been a LONG time since I made any decent theories. From now on I will be much more thorough with checking ways to disprove my own theories. That's how I used to work. Well, thanks for not completely destroying my idiocy XD -Jolteon
  20. Well this is certainly embarrassing. Okay, I probably shoulda pointed out all of the flaws to the theory too. Fuck I'm an idiot. I wasn't even considering half of the stuff you guys pointed out, plus the fact I already KNEW that it was Hanford. I've already looked it up in the past. D: Ignore me. I had a mad moment where I forgot everything. I saw something that could mean something and replaced reason with madness. There may be some relevance at some point to what I have posted but I've been thick. Fuck. -Jolteon
  21. What's up Zombie Slayers, your PokePal Dark Jolteon with a thread explaining a recent theory I have devised with a little research about the TranZit location. Feel free to leave your thoughts, criticisms and opinions after you have read it through, and I hope you enjoy So, my thoughts originally came to light after watching a YouTube video uploaded by our very own MrRoflWaffles containing a large majority of quotes from our TranZit bus driver. I strongly suggest you watch the video, and I will put it at the bottom of the thread. Most of them are hilarious and irrelevant but it's still a great video to watch The quotes I am most interested in from these quotes are any that contain the name of the bus company. For those that don't know, the bus company is called the Consolidated Bus Corporation. After some research and some looking around the interwebz of Google, I pretty easily found the website for the bus company (Yes! It exists!). However, the full name of this company is more than just what our driver says. The full name of the company, and get ready for this because this is good, is Consolidated Bus Transit Corporation Inc. That's right. Transit. I looked at some details of the bus company, which is clearly the company being used in TranZit, the evidence is mahoosive, and this company is based in Brooklyn NY. For me tht is all the information and proof I need. I'm sure there are other areas that the company works but they are primarily Brooklyn. Okay, so I was completely wrong with the entire theory, HOWEVER, there is still plenty of relevance. The main part of which I speak is this part: So, my efforts weren't completely wasted and thanks to the lovely gentlemen below my dignity has been somewhat salvaged. That is all for now. Thanks for reading, and I'll see you again soon. Before I go, here is Waffles video: 0MW4E-QCPAw -Jolteon
  22. You've certainly put a lot of time and effort into this. It's certainly a plausible theory I will say that for sure. Whether you are correct or not I cannot say but good work nonetheless. -Jolteon
  23. Neither of the links worked for me. The Xbox says that it isn't a real page (or more accurately says Zombies ate the page) and the PS3 page links straight to my player home. Any chance of taking a look I am very interested in joing the PS3 pros on CoDz -Jolteon
  24. Jolteon

    SICK AND TIRED

That's certainly odd. I've heard numurous cases where the patch HAS fixed things. Then again, there were over two million people playing last night, it's A LOT for one game server to handle. Vonderhaar suggested contacting support if you were having difficulties still, so perhaps try that next? Good luck, and keep trying, Black Ops Two is a great game if you don't have the glitches and bugs -Jolteon
  25. No forgiveness needed good sir! I apologise if I seemed very formal above, I merely wanted to inform you of the rules, and in no way intended to make you feel as if you were doing something wrong! You're new here, you wanted to talk about fun stuff and that's more than understandable! Don't let my overly-formal manor put you off -Jolteon
